Thank you for staying at Scenic Solitude of Muse. The location is what draws so many people to this short term rental. It’s in the country setting without a very close neighbor, close enough to the trails to ride the SXS’s to them yet off of the main Billy Creek Rd where all of the traffic is at. This home is truly in Solitude.

The back patio has been a favorite with all of my guests. The fire pit is always popular during the cooler temperatures and my husband work diligently to make sure there is always free firewood for my guests. The secluded quiet area has been the most sought after reason for staying at Scenic Solitude of Muse.

Great proximity to the trails at Billy Creek

The property was clean and comfortable and easily accommodated our party of 7. We loved the location! There were a few small maintenance issues that need to be addressed, but it didn't affect our ability to enjoy our stay. We would definitely stay here again.

Regarding the few maintenance issues, those are being taken care of ASAP. I apologize for any inconveniences although maintenance is an ongoing process in any home. It’s great to be able to stay in such a rural area but it’s also a long way from Lowe’s to get what’s needed. 😝 I’m glad y’all enjoyed the area.

These guests were the best guests. Although all ATV’s in the area were already reserved for the weekend, I suggested some of the greatest hiking trails in the Ouachita Mountains which will addict even the most uninterested person. Scenic Solitude is designed for families to make memories with indoor and outdoor games in a safe secluded country setting. The back patio is like heaven in the morning for that first quiet cup of coffee and nature’s beautiful surroundings. I welcome you back again if you were t able to experience all the area has to offer.

Clariscia and her party were great renters. They left Scenic Solitude clean and neat. I will definitely welcome them again anytime. This time of year was the perfect time with the flowers blooming and the big banana tree enveloping the porch. One of the reasons Clariscia enjoyed Scenic Solitude.

I welcome Randy and his group back at Scenic Solitude anytime. They were great guests. They took great care of the place, followed all the rules and with 2000 square feet of living space, there was plenty of room. Billy Creek is the perfect place to ride side by side trails or horseback trails. I’m glad I have the double carport for Randy’s use for their ATV’s. Thank you Randy for staying at my place and taking such good care of it.

Wonderful place!!!!

Lovely home in a beautiful, quiet location. Loved the sign to help us find it in the evening. This home is large, very comfortable for our multi-generation group. The beds are extremely comfortable. It had everything you would want in a vacation rental and more! Would definitely recommend to any group or family.

SxS Riding Getaway

This was our second trip to Billy Creek and we had to stay in the same place. The house is nice and spacious with everything you need and located just down the road from the trails. We had 4 couples and had plenty of room for cooking and eating together. I’m positive we’ll be staying here again.

A quiet get away

We had an amazing time! If you are looking for the perfect get away, then this place is it! We have been coming to the Muse area for years. My family and I love to ride horse in the mountains. We were just down the road from our favorite riding place Heavens Gate RV park and we got to visit the Queen Wilhelmina State Park. We will definitely be back!

Taylor and her party were absolutely the perfect guests. They washed their sheets and linens before they left. WOW. They were very pleasant guests and it was nice to accolade them with their horses. Having a small pasture with water available right there was convenient for them too. There was also plenty of parking for their horse trailer.

We loved the property! Enough room for our family of 7 and Nona has thought of just about anything you may need to feel like you’re at home! The nearest stores are about 20 mins a way, but the directions made it easy to find. I think we all loved the back porch and deck, it was nice to enjoy your morning coffee, and we even saw some deer one morning. Would definitely recommend if you are in the area!

My husband, George, and I are locals to the area and have been farming and ranching in Muse for many years. I am also a nurse and work at the local Choctaw Nation Hospital. We have 3 daughters and three grandchildren. We love this area and love the people that we meet as they travel through Southeast Oklahoma. We know that SE Oklahoma is truly God’s country and want all visitors to enjoy all that the area has to offer.
