The house was in a nice location. It was clean, though the furniture and rugs were pretty worn and stained. The shower had good water pressure, all appliances were in good repair, and the host was quick to respond to any questions we had. We enjoyed our stay.

We had a great stay! The house has ample space, was very clean, and comfortable, and the host was extremely responsive to our messages. We didn’t get an opportunity to use the heated pool but that’s simply because our schedule didn’t allow for it. The pool looked very nice and well taken care of. Would definitely recommend staying here!!!

Nice place. Quiet neighborhood. Close to shops and food. Less than an hour from St Augustine. All questions were answered in a timely fashion. Ping pong and arcades were nice bonus. Would recommend.

Amazing Home in Great Location!

We've stayed at many VRBO rentals over the years and Angie's place is at the top of the list! It's a nice neighborhood in Mandarin close to everything Jax has to offer. The pool is temperature controlled so it is always just right for enjoying! The house is very nicely decorated and comfortable, truly felt like being home while on vacation. Thanks again for everything!!

I really enjoyed the stay here I hate my vacation had to end. Everything is just as described in pictures. I loved the outside setting. I hate I didn’t have an ink pen to write in the adventure book lol! I definitely will be coming back again with my family.

Joyful Experience

Communication was pleasant, accommodating, and timely with the host manager. Everything was tidy and clean. The pool has to be requested to be heated rather than assumed as such, but efforts were quick to do so. There was enough silverware and dishes for our large family. Overall, a very enjoyable stay!

Family Oasis

The home was in a quiet neighborhood. Everything was top notch in the house. The kids enjoyed the pool and game room and ping pong table. The location in Mandarin is excellent, close to the naval Air Station JAX and shopping and restaurants on nearby San Jose Blvd. We were in town for my son's retirement from the Navy, Commander Feigel. The home was stocked with linens and bath towel.The beds were comfortable. The owner was very accessible I highly recommend this VRBO.

This is a PERFECT House in Mandarin

We could not have been more pleased with EVERYTHING about this property. We were in town for events in the Mandarin area, so we selected the property primarily for its location. What we found, however, was a property that was PERFECT for my family. Very clean property with all of the amenities, including four spacious bedrooms, very modern kitchen, garage game room and patio and picnic area around the pool. THANK YOU!!!

Hidden Gem Central to Everything!

The home is exactly as described. Close to shopping, beaches and tourist attractions. My family and I felt right at home. Kids loved the heated pool and backyard. The host is very responsive and made check in a breeze! Kitchen is fully stocked with dishware, utensils, coffee pot and microwave. Couldn't find the blender but was not a problem. Linens and towels provided. Beds are very cozy and allowed for a great night's rest. Living room had plenty of space for everyone to sit back and enjoy a movie night. Highly recommend to anyone and would definitely stay again when in the area.

We enjoyed having plenty of space to visit with family and enjoyed the pool as well. I was disappointed in the lack of amenities in the kitchen. No toaster, muffin tin, and very limited kitchen items. When you stay at a house that can sleep as many as the house does, more than likely, you will do a lot of cooking to help cut the cost of going out to eat. Also, we had to buy our own washcloths for bathing. There were plenty of towels and hand towels, but not a single washcloth. Had a grill, but not any grill utensils. The house was clean. Living room furniture could use a good shampooing or replacement. The game room area was nice but the ping pong table was broke. Having a washer and dryer was nice - but know that you must put it through a second spin cycle.

The hostess was amazing but the house was not clean at all to us, and had a weird smell. The walls and baseboards were nasty and the kitchen cabinets needed a good wipe down. The floors were dirty and there was a weird sticky spot on one of the bed side tables which was a bit concerning. All the ceiling fans were full of dust and there were no kitchen towels or wash cloths. There was also no toaster available which to me is a staple. The shower curtains were discolored at the bottom. The pool was beautiful and when I contacted the hostess, she what she could to make our stay bearable. She provided bleach and kitchen towels so that we could clean. The pictures were very deceiving. I will say that we are freakishly clean people so our standards may have been to high as the reviews were excellent. I didn’t feel the house was….

Barley-Female Viszla and Gumbo- Male Husky (both potty trained and well behaved, Barley does get nervous if little kids screams and runs towards her. Gumbo will sing (not bark) when we come home to welcome us. We do like to travel with them as much as we can, but we are respectful for people's place and does not leave a mess.

Quiet, spacious, clean, heated pool and in a safe neighborhood, this is the perfect space for a family get together to create lots of beautiful memories.

The space

Right when you walk in you're greeted by our welcome table. Feel free to sign our guest book and tell us where you're from. The office has a table for studying or getting work done and a couch that has a pullout bed. The living room is one of our favorite places to hangout, lounge on the couch, and watch TV. Against the wall we have some games, books and puzzles for you to explore. The kitchen is fully equipped with all cookware and utensils you might need. Enjoy family meals at our sleek dining table. The master bedroom has a comfy king bed with attached bathroom. The second spacious bedroom has two queen beds and the third bedroom has two twin beds. The backyard is great for cooling off in the pool, lounging on the daybed or having a night time fire in the outdoor grill.

Mandarin is considered to be one of the best places to live in Florida. The mostly residential areas of the Mandarin area are brimming with history, nature and boast some of the most stunning river views in Jacksonville. It is close proximity to the St. John's River with many local attractions and parks. Often called a "tropical paradise."

There are many great grocery stores and restaurants just minutes away! - The Fresh Market, Whole Food, Trader Joe’s, Publix, Starbucks, Panera bread, Clark’s fish camp, Metro dinner, Bonefish Grill, Julington Creek fish camp and more.
