Gorgeous Renovated Home with Open Floor Plan and Large Lot, private but also convenient!

Renovated 3BR, 2BA home with an open floor plan that sleeps 6. Stunning living room with gorgeous beams and huge windows.

Roku TV, fast internet, large yard where you have a good view of the sunrise/sunset!

Very close to the lake (less than 10 minute drive), close to many great nature spots, and University of the South, Downtown Winchester area, and the famous Jack Daniels Distillery. Also close to Circle E Ranch and The Concerts at the Caverns.


We live about an hour away, checking in will be done via a code. We always strive to be available for messages/calls when our guests need us. We also have someone on-staff monitoring messages throughout normal business hours.

Beautiful small town rich in history and natural beauty!

You have access to the entire house (main house only, NOT guest house. guest house is a separate rental). You have access to 7 beautiful acres you are welcome to hike on or explore at your own risk.

If you are looking for a hunting or fishing cabin, this is your place. If you are looking for more than a rustic cabin with very few amenities (we had to buy pots, pans and a spatula to cook Christmas dinner) then don’t stay here. The hosts were very nice and responsive. The yard is quite large with a beautiful Magnolia.

We enjoyed the cottages roomie interior and comfortable beds. We saw a deer enjoyed walking the dog around the property and had a peaceful night sleep.

Great house near lake!

We spent the weekend in Winchester for my son's birthday and wanted to stay close to Twin Creeks Marina. This house was great... a 5 minute drive to the lake but still in a quiet wooded area. The house was the perfect size for our family of 4 and it was very tastefully renovated and decorated. We also were able to bring our small pup, which was great. Plenty of room for him to run around in the yard. Overall would highly recommend!

Nice and roomy for family/friends

Private setting…outdoor fire pit was great….had a fire every night…even though owners were stuck on cruise because of storms, communication was good and the host was very responsive and so helpful when I forgot to make final payment…helped me with doing this online…..the house is roomy and the kitchen is great.

An amazing weekend

I thought my stay was amazing, I came to TN to see family not knowing where to stay. So I went straight to Vrbo hoping to find something half decent. Little did I know I would come across a beautiful home for a great price. I also got to meet Paul he is a great guy and has great communication skills!

Relaxation Relaxation Relaxation!

This place could not have been better suited for our needs. We could stay forever. The hosts were very attentive during our stay. We are already making plans to return. The yard was wonderful we saw deer most every day. I wish I was better at describing my experience. Don’t hesitate with this property.

I enjoyed our stay at the house. It was equipped with plenty of soap, trash bags, sanitizer, dishes, first aid kit, bug spray, toilet paper, towels, etc. it was beautiful inside. It was spacious. The beds were comfortable. We stayed for the weekend to enjoy boating at Tim’s Ford Marina. It was a 10 minute or less drive to that marina. We drove over to Lynchburg one day also. No complaints.

Perfect for our family

The space was open and large enough for our family and could have easily accommodated having more family visit. Close to downtown Winchester and only a few miles away from Dechard.Only 1 TV in the living room. I only mention this because we brought two teenagers who may have wanted to watch TV in their rooms at bedtime. Internet kept up with the demands of the teenagers previously Close to the lake but the weather didn't allow for fishing this time. Great communication with the owners. We will visit again.

Could have been better

There were a few things that could have been better. The lawn needed cleaning up, I replaced a shower curtain because the old one was covered in mold, toilet in main bath needs to be fixed as it rocks, a home Depot box over the fireplace was pretty tacky. The front of the sink cabinet needed repaired too.

We know our property isn't perfect. We do wish those things were taken care of prior to your stay though. We are sorry about the issues, especially the shower curtain. We were aware the yard needed some work and hadn't gotten to it yet and we were aware of the sink cabinet needing to be fixed. We should have let you know those were on our list of things to do. The shower curtain and other issues were a surprise to us. Overall, we apologize your experience was not what we hope for our guests to have!

Close to the lake and downtown

It was a big yard, plenty of room for the dogs to run. The inside was clean. We had plenty of towels, and we liked that it was semi stocked with spices, paper towels, coffee, garbage bags, laundry detergent, etc. There was plenty of room for our boat that we took to the lake everyday. The only downside was the lawn service came while we were there, and while they were respectful of our vehicles, they were still covered in lawn debris. The owners were attentive during our stay and checked in to make sure everything was fine. We liked that it was isolated/remote, yet close to town and the lake. Would definitely stay again!

Significant problems with the toilet in the master bedroom, led to this being, essentially, a one bathroom house. There were cleanliness issues, (cobwebs, etc.) when we arrived. The chimney allowed warm air into the home so the air conditioning could not keep up until we blocked the fireplace with a blanket. The refrigerator leaked. Overall, a frustrating couple of days. Owners offered to make it right, but did not do so.

Catfished a bit.

Wasn't bad, but wasn't nice. Pictures very deceiving. The coffee machine doesn't work and there's exposed wires where a fireplace should be. There's a foul smell I think is attributed to whatever is wrong with the toilet that was marked "out of order." The tubs don't drain well and there's a constant bubbling of the sinks when water is used, no actually backing up at this point. We were in town for a wedding and the ability to have two restrooms we thought we were renting would've been nice. Also, little to no response from property manager. Appears they use an automated message exchange.
