We actually were able to meet the host. He was very helpful and very nice. The location was perfect. It was a perfect place for two people. The Neighbourhood is great. It is not far from the metro and once you're on the metro, you can go anywhere you want and when you return home, the neighborhood is quiet.

The plus sides were the quiet nbd and the nice back garden where we were able to barbecue and eat outside in the beautiful sunny weather. The down side was that it was a bit of a squeeze for three adults. It really only sleeps two comfortably. I met the landlord, who was very pleasant.

The good: the neighborhood was safe, walking distance to restaurants, bars, pharmacy, shopping. The bed was comfortable.The bad: this listing is misrepresented. If we knew what it actually was, we wouldn’t have rented it. The description talks about a house, shows the front of a house in pictures. However, this property is a basement-level apartment. When we arrived, we had a hard time figuring out where to go because the listing pictures were deceiving. It turns out the house itself was rented out and a family has moved in just before we arrived, so the house is one listing (not this one), and the apartment is another listing (this one). Thee entire apartment fits into one picture (included).The floors in the house were paper thin. The family that rented the house had small children and their noise traveled through the ceiling of the apartment below and woke us up early in the morning. People going up/down stairs and walking across the floor was clearly heard.The transformer to the furnace made a loud humming sound. We had to turn it off to be able to sleep.The front door did not close properly. It was crooked, misaligned, and not fitting into the door jamb.The front door has a keyless entry as well as a door handle with a lock. We accidentally locked. We feel we did not get what was advertised and what we paid for.
