Welcome to Olivia’s Cozy Cabin. A hand-built mountain retreat where warmth, charm, and a touch of rustic luxury await.

Lovingly named after our daughter, Olivia’s Cozy Cabin was created to support our family and offer guests a peaceful place to unwind. Nestled at the edge of our property, this 360 sq. ft. tiny cabin is built entirely from wood milled right here on-site. Surrounded by open pasture, home to grazing cattle, and facing the breathtaking Blue Ridge Mountains, the setting is pure Appalachian serenity.

Inside, tall ceilings and generous windows fill the space with natural light, making the cabin feel bright and open. While compact, every detail is thoughtfully designed to provide comfort and charm.

Step into the family room and settle in on the queen-size futon, or enjoy a book or card game from the shelves. A 50” smart TV is ready for movie nights or catching up on your favorite shows.

The fully stocked kitchen includes all the essentials for cooking, along with cleaning supplies, a fire extinguisher, and a first aid kit for your peace of mind. While we don’t have a dishwasher, we kindly ask guests to hand wash dishes before departure.

Just off the kitchen, the bathroom is supplied with plush towels and toiletries such as shampoo, conditioner, toothpaste, toothbrush, and body wash.

The downstairs bedroom features a queen-size bed facing a sliding glass door that opens to a private deck with sunrise views of the mountains. Cozy up by the electric fireplace after a day of exploring.

Climb the handcrafted (steep!) stairs to the loft, where you’ll find a full-size bed nestled between large windows offering sweeping views of the pasture and surrounding hills. Please use caution on the stairs - they’re part of the charm, but also steep!

Our home is located just behind the cabin, and you may be greeted by our friendly red heeler or our two curious cats who love to say hello to guests.

Whether you’re sipping coffee on the porch, stargazing by the fire pit, or just enjoying the stillness, Olivia’s Cozy Cabin is the perfect blend of comfort, character, and countryside charm.

The cabin was a perfect mix of modern minimalist and charmingly retro. Beautifully polished wood and immaculate kitchen and bathroom. The only little disappointment was that the fire setting on the bedroom electrical fireplace appeared not to be working, although the heater setting did. The living room heater was a little hard to get working as well. I might just suggest including some detailed directions on how to control both units in the future. Other than that, the location, the views and the interior design were all spectacular and perfect for our family of three! Wish we could’ve stayed longer!

Beautiful piece of property bordering a cow pasture. Everything was exactly as expected if not better. Very comfortable. It's at the back of the property behind what appears to be the main house and a garage. Very peaceful and quiet, but has everything you'll need. The owners communicated very well.

The stay was amazing. The view was magnificent. Loved the cows and the lightning bugs. We used the fire pit and enjoyed it. Brought our own firewood because wasn’t sure if it was included. Bed was comfy. Location was great. The pots and pans were really nice. I’m thinking about getting myself a set for my home. I needed more counter space in the bathroom but I made it work. There was no closet, but that’s ok. I just lived out of my suitcase. I’d stay here again.

Our stay at Olivia's Cozy Cabin was absolutely fantastic. The only thing we were upset about was that we only booked it for one night instead of two. It was perfect. The location is great, and you will not feel like you are only 15-20 min from Asheville. Clean, super comfortable, quiet, an awesome view, and an incredibly helpful/responsive host, all at a super reasonable price point. Not only will we be back, but we would love to build something similar. Thank you Shelby for making our visit one to remember!

This was the perfect spot to reset! Just 20 minutes from both the Biltmore and Whole Foods, it was conveniently located. We purchased the 2-day pass to the Biltmore, and this cozy place gave us the perfect opportunity to refresh and rest between visits.We really appreciated the thoughtful touches.Loved the thick towels and spotless floors! I usually wipe down the floors with a wet cloth when we arrive at a rental since my family takes their shoes off indoors, but there was no need this time. So appreciated!We would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful Views!

We enjoyed our stay in this cozy, beautiful cabin. Our boys (8yrs old) thought the loft was really cool. Amazing views as you wake up. It is a little ways out from downtown Asheville (20ish min), but that wasn't a problem for us and it is clearly stated in the listing so we were aware, although it could be a consideration for some. We would absolutely stay here again!

Wonderful!

My girlfriend and I were excited to cap off our stay in Asheville with a secluded cabin. The cabin was cozy for the night but not cramped at all. Looking over the fields were nice and the amenities for the cabin were much appreciated. This was our first time booking with Vrbo and we were thrilled to find a gem at a great price point!

Us along with several of our close friends and family worked hard to build this cabin so that I could have the opportunity to stay home with our daughter, Olivia and have an income! All of the wood used for the cabin was cut and milled on site and a lot of hard work and love went into the beautiful one-of-a-kind cabin.
