Aspen Studio Loft - One block to the Heart of Town
Enjoy a stylish experience at this centrally-located award-winning Loft. This Cooper Street Loft is one block from the heart of town - Wagner Park. Within two blocks are a dozen restaurants, and in three blocks you could be sitting on the chairlift (Lift #1-A), heading up Aspen mountain for your first turns of the day. Walkability can't be beaten. Nevertheless, one reserved parking space just steps outside your entry door. With a full kitchen, TV/internet, wood-burning fireplace, snuggle up!
THE SPACE
The award-winning loft design is contemporary and spacious with 14-foot high ceilings. This comfy pied-a-terre was re-decorated in May 2022. As a fully-stocked turnkey unit, it allows you to tailor your vacation as you desire - walk to hiking trails, mountains, parks, attend cultural events, ski, wine & dine. Walk or take the free bus to the music tent, Aspen Institute, and other cultural facilities in summer, and to Aspen Highlands/X-Games/Snowmass Ski Areas in winter.
The main level has a new queen-sized luxury LetoMuro wall bed (âmurphy bedâ), with a Helix hybrid foam mattress, and doubles as a large desk. There is a queen-sized plush conventional mattress in the loft (all linens provided).
NOTE: Since the sleeping loft has a non-standard ceiling height of appx. 4'8" (with double carpet padding), it may be best for children or agile adults. Accordingly, we offer the luxury Letomuro wall bed below which is preferred for some guests. The wall bed can be lifted daily to access the long desk (it has four hydraulic lifts for ease of operations) or it can remain lowered during an entire stay with plenty of room for clearance. Please keep this in mind when booking.
The living room area has a couch/leather sofa, two club/lounge chairs with coffee- & end-tables, and a dining table & chair set (seats 4). Views through picture windows from the living area towards the ski mountain.
The kitchen is fully stocked with all new stainless-steel appliances (smooth-top stove, full size oven with air fryer feature), full-size microwave, super-quiet dishwasher, and freezer & fridge with icemaker). Hi-speed wifi (Comcast +100Mbps / +5Mbps) is provided with a large-screen wall-mounted flat TV (an additional TV is in the loft) and each has a Roku. Three closet areas provide space for clothing and storing ski & sports gear and luggage. The full bath has a tub-shower combo with a toilet, separate from the sink/powder room area. Other amenities/features: stacking washer-dryer; wood-burning fireplace! deck with patio table and chairs; large bike rack outside the entry door. One reserved parking space. The Loft is ground level in a six-plex building, recently remodeled. All utilities are included: water, heat (all-electric City of Aspen), Comcast internet, and rubbish (regular trash, recycling & wildlife-proof secure containers outside).

Pets: Pet Friendly. One pet is allowed provided they are quiet and not a nuisance. Pets outside must be on a leash. Guest must clean up after pets.
GUESTS must abide by all HOA rules (quiet, no large parties, no loud music, no trash outside (unless in secure wildlife-proof HOA authorized trash containers).
Two-three guests only (overnight visitors allowed).
LGBTQ friendly.
Languages: English, Spanish, French.
NOTE: The unit was upgraded, updated, and redecorated May 2022 to include: LVP (luxury vinyl plank flooring), new paint, new furniture, etc. Listing photos being updated.
Other things to note
During 2022-2023, the unit is generally available monthly (28 days) per City of Aspen regulations (permit #072870) written on a 30 day lease (actual physical occupancy may be less). No sales/lodging taxes are charged on monthly rentals. Requests for LESS than a month may be considered if calendar / booking circumstances permit (dates/rate negotiable).
Commencing Oct 1, City STR Permit (pending), daily/weekly stays will be accepted.
Hosts are seasoned, super hosts with Airbnb for over 10 years in Aspen, Snowmass, and Santa Fe.
