Grandma's House: Experience tranquility near Jordan Lake.

AVAILABLE NOW- finished remodeled basement. Additional queen bed, queen fold-out sofa and sitting area, full bath, and kitchenette. Has a separate entry with parking as well as stairs from the main floor. An additional $125 per night as an add-on option. The basement is not handicap as the first floor is. The basement will not be rented separately it is only available and an add-on to the main house if needed.

Grandma's House is far enough in the country to offer peacefulness, comfort, and a great place to relax, while being close enough to the city for all the shopping, dining and work-related activities. Enjoy the best of both worlds. Located in Moncure, which is the center of NC, this house is just 30 minutes from Raleigh, Chapel Hill, or Sanford. It is 50 minutes from Southern Pines, Greensboro or Fayetteville. Just 3 miles from Jordan Dam, there are multiple boat ramps just a short drive away. RALEIGH EXEC JETPORT is just 12 minutes away. Wedding venues are popular, with several being close by. The owners are very detail oriented and tried to think of everything you would need while providing this beautiful, clean and tranquil home away from home.

The house has been remodeled and most everything is brand new. It is kept very clean and offers open, bright and airy space., both indoors and out. Lots of added benefits such as Starlink WiFi, Designated Office, Whole House Water softener, and Whole House generator.

This property is within minutes of both The Bradford and the Shady Wagon Farm wedding venues. And be sure to reserve your space at the Carolina Tiger Rescue , just six miles from Grandma’s House. Also most guests love visiting downtown Pittsboro while here for a glimpse back at the old small town feel and atmosphere. Also, minutes from Jordan Lake Boat access.

Great house with wonderful bedrooms and dining area. Having a gas grill was a key factor to us choosing your place. I do wish that the couches in the den/tv room weren’t so low to the ground so they would be more comfortable for taller people.

All the comforts of home

The house is wonderfully comfortable, well stocked and perfectly located for everything we were needing to do. Came for a wedding in Pittsboro. Had a great time with friends and family. Close to the events, shops, restaurants and hiking trails.

Awesome Property

Grandma’s house is a beautiful home full of warmth character and comfort. We so enjoyed our stay we are looking forward to our next visit. The property was clean everywhere, comfortable and felt like being at home. Access was easy and in a great location. We came to spend time with our family but enjoyed every minute we were at the house. I have to also say the cabinets and furniture was incredible I wanted to load up the cabinets and take them home. Feeling blessed to have landed in such a great home. Thanks to the owners lived the house.

Amazing place to stay!

The accommodations were immaculate and way above any other place we have rented ever and the owners made us feel like family ! We were only 3 miles from the public launch for Jordan Lake which is a beautiful lake to fish or pull off onto a private sandy beach. We will definitely be returning. Highly recommend .

Beautiful home with excellent office to “work from home”. Well-appointed and super comfortable beds. My husband and I stayed with my 86-year-old father—accessible and easy for him to navigate. Enjoyed the shop tour also!

The house is newly remodeled and is open, bright with clean lines and is conveniently located in the middle of the state. There is a small airport about 5 miles from the house and Raleigh Durham airport is a 35 minute drive. Jordan Lake is beautiful anytime of the year and there are multiple boat ramps within a 5 minute drive. Wildlife is plentiful and come right up into the yard. This place is almost magical (at least we think so).
