Screech OwL Cabin for 2

Welcome to our adorable 2020 built 400 sq ft log cabin which is the perfect size for 2 people. It is minutes from the Lookout Mountain Flight Park hang glide landing zone where you can enjoy a tandem hang glide experience with an instructor and soar like a bird. We are a 20 minute drive to Rock City and Ruby Falls. Cloudland Canyon State Park is a 15 minute drive . Downtown Chattanooga is a 25 minute drive away.
We rent this cabin a few months a year and have it available to visiting friends and family the rest of the time . It is located in our front field of our 17 acre property and has a nice deck overlooking the pasture across the street and faces west so you can enjoy watching the sun set . It is a relaxing and clean home to use as your sightseeing base.
The cabin has high speed fiber internet and Amazon Prime , Freevee, Tubi and Sling are streaming on the 50" living room TV. There is an assortment of board games and books .
The bedroom has a queen size bed and a small electric fireplace that can be used with the heater option or just to set ambiance. This room has black out blinds.
A full size stove and an oven are in the kitchen to cook meals. A drip coffee maker , toaster , pots , pans, utensils and dishes are stocked in the kitchen. The kitchen has a table for meals or to play cards on. A charcoal grill and outdoor seating is set up for your enjoyment.
The bathroom has a walk in shower. No tub or spa . No washer or dryer either .
Absolutely no animals are allowed. We have our own dogs, turkey and chickens on the property . The dogs are never loose unless we are with them .
You may be lucky to see deer, foxes, turkeys , opossums. raccoons and many birds including screech owls which a local raptor rehab has released on our property .. The closest grocery stores Ingles and Food City, are 10 minutes away in Trenton , GA . Trenton also has a bbq, Mexican , Hamburg & wings and a pizza restaurants . Also a CVS pharmacy and a liquor store. ïżŒWalmart Supercenter is 20 minutes away in Chattanooga on Cummings Highway.

The cabin is in excellent condition—it’s very clean, the amenities work well, the area is very safe, and the size is perfect for a small getaway. The cabin has a beautiful rustic view of the rural and mountainous area and is fully secluded for privacy. The host was great at ensuring communication was open throughout our stay and ensuring our stay was comfortable. We look forward to booking this cabin again in the future!

The cutest cabin! Passed through for one night and it was the perfect starting point for an early start at Cloudland Canyon. We had everything we needed. It was quiet, and so scenic to sit out on the porch and watch the cows while we had our morning coffee!

Stacy was super easy to communicate with - especially since there was an internet outage during our stay. She handled all of the logistics, so all we had to do was go have fun and explore a beautiful area. Would definitely stay here again!

Perfect Getaway

Cabin was nice. Small, but nice. Perfect for a couple to retreat and get away to. The views around the cabin are priceless. You dont get views like this in gatlinburg or anywhere. Just far enough from civilization to make it peaceful. Would stay here again and again

The cabin was beautiful but exceptionally loud. When it got warmer outside the cabin snapped cracked and popped more than a bowl of rice crispies. There were also wasps forming nests in the door of the cabin which made it difficult to get in and out.

Cozy cabin with all the right touches!

Such a wonderful cabin, that Stacy has put the perfect touch to. Close enough to enjoy all that Chattanooga has to offer, yet at a distance that offers rest and rejuvenation like your at home on your own slice of traveling heaven. We will be back, and look forward to it!

Absolutely delightful!

My husband and I wanted a quick weekend getaway, and we could not have been more pleased with our stay. This cabin was built in 2020, and I was so impressed with the design and the choices throughout, from the soft, cozy bed linens, to the vaulted ceilings, to the adorable "faux fireplace" heater in the bedroom. The cabin is light-colored wood (pine?) from floor to ceiling throughout, and a better choice simply could not have been made. Just beautiful. Lots of light from the many windows, but pull-down shades available for privacy. The owner was easily available by text and offered lots of great suggestions for dining and activities. For "interesting" dining, you'll probably need to drive to the Chattanooga area, but for simpler fare, a stop at Ingles grocery and Rafael's pizza in nearby Trenton works. Rafael's offered really good service and had some options in addition to pizza.

This cabin is on our 17 acre property we live on with our animals. We put it up for our friends and family to have a place to stay when they come up and visit. We are renting it few months a year for others to enjoy. We have been hosting vacation rental homes for the last decade . We have beautiful full time 3 bedroom vacation homes that are on the west bluff with stunning views that stay booked and we decided to rent the cabin so couples can enjoy a great location without booking a 3 bedroom house .
