Dayna was incredibly warm and helpful throughout our stay
Just wow. I’ve traveled extensively and it’s hard to get a better view . City & Mountain View . The ride to get to the cabin is incredible, and just 10 min from downtown Gatlinburg.
Dayna was the BEST host in the community. Her Communication, Friendliness, and Honesty is by far THE BEST I've ever seen.
This was the most amazing home we have ever rented. The view is better than pictures can even describe! The cabin was immaculate. The cleanliness of the home was perfect and made us feel so comfortable being there!
The best thing was Dayna’s communication, she made us feel like friends.
Incredible view. Jaw dropping.
The view was even better in person, and the cabin was also very clean!!

Make a cup of tea, coffee or hot chocolate. Open the glass doors and sit outside with your steaming mug, watching the world come alive from the top of the mountain.
Set out for your day of fun and memory-making. Your options are unlimited. Ride a mountain coaster. Hike to peaks, summits, or waterfalls. Go rafting down a river. Spend the day surrounded by lush green life, chirping birds and the fresh, earthy smells of The Great Smoky Mountain wilderness. Take in a dinner show, The Titanic Museum, or swing around a track in a race car on The Strip. Have your fill of drops, twists, and thrilling loops on Dollywood's nine roller coasters. Cool off in the tunnel flumes, tube rides and pools at Soaky Mountain Waterpark or Dollywood's Splash Country.
Want to stay up on the mountain? You have everything you need within two miles of the cabin. Ober Gatlinburg is a mile away and has an amusement park, shopping, dining, rides, indoor ice skating and ice bumper cars, winter tubing and skiing, The Alpine Slide, a mountain coaster, a carousel and more!
And if that's not enough, the Ober Tramway cable car will carry you down the mountain right into downtown Gatlinburg. No need to deal with parking or traffic. Ride down, have your fun and ride back up.
You'll have access to all three Chalet Village Clubhouses. This means three mountain top swimming pools, wading pool for little ones, and a rain umbrella water feature for kids to play in. There are also fitness facilities, tennis courts, playground, concession stand, foosball, video games, air hockey, shuffle board. You name it, its down at one of the three clubhouses.
When the sun is low and your feet feel that happy ache of a day well-spent, come back up the mountain to your retreat in the sky. Stop at one of hundreds of restaurants in town for a delicious meal first, or cook up dinner in your fully stocked kitchen. Order a pizza from the Chalet Village mountain market. Relax and unwind and head out to one of the three decks, ease into a rocker or soak in the hot tub. Shoot a game of pool or try out the Boss Toss beanbag game in the downstairs Fun Room. See what's on TV with our premium cable package through Spectrum.
When it's time for bed, sink into soft comfort and have a restful night's sleep.
And do it all as you watch the city lights of downtown Gatlinburg spread out under you like handfuls of tossed stars glittering in the valley. Look out the glass walls to the left. Do you see those lights in the distance? That's Pigeon Forge, still glowing with the energy of an endless summer night.
THE CABIN - A TOUR
Glimmer Gatlinburg offers one of the best views in all of the Great Smoky Mountains.
Enter on the main level and find a well-stocked kitchen, a half bathroom, living and dining area, drip coffee machine and Keurig, and a wall of glass around the back and sides with a deck showcasing the incredibly rare views.
Follow the single spiral staircase down to The Fun Room, where you'll find a pool table, Boss Toss wall mounted bean bag game, and the same wall of glass. There's a hot tub out on the deck for soaking in the views.
Also on this level are two private queen bedrooms with their own bathrooms.
Now follow the spiral all the way up to the top. This is the jewel of Glimmer Gatlinburg. The largest suite of the three, this bedroom makes up the entire top level of the cabin. Here you'll find a soft king bed, and a twin-over-twin cabin bunk bed. This allows families with young children to stay together, as the two queen bedrooms are two levels below.
There is a private bath with walk in shower. There is also a large jetted tub, perfectly positioned in the loft to watch the moonrise from your bath.
This large suite is like no bedroom you've ever seen. It's an open loft, accessed by a spiral staircase, and it is surrounded by walls of glass across the back and halfway around the sides.

THE ROADS
The road to get up here can be intimidating for the first time. And ok, probably the second and third time, too. I grew up in Florida where it's flat. While it is paved, there are steep switchbacks and climbs. If you have a fear of heights or get anxious on mountain roads, know that this is a serious mountain road.
However, if this Florida girl and the big, lumbering Gatlinburg garbage truck can climb up there, you can, too! The view is worth it. Every local who visits tells us some variation of the same thing: "Wow. I have NEVER been up this high or seen a view this impressive. I live here and the Smokies all start to look like business as usual after a while. This? Is spectacular."
And it really is.
And it's rare that we get snow, but if you we do, the salt and plow trucks are pretty great at clearing the roads quickly sinc ethe ski resort is up there.
THE STAIRS
There is a single, wooden spiral staircase for access to each of the three levels.
THE BEDROOMS
The largest and most spectacular bedroom is on the third floor, and it is a full-level loft.
***There is no door, and it is accessed by spiral staircase***
There is sleeping for a family of four up here - a king and a twin cabin bunk.
***Note that there are no curtains up here. The entire back of the cabin is made of glass. The sun will greet you at dawn***
This is our favorite way to start the day. This is not the bedroom for those wishing to sleep behind blackout curtains, however. There are of course curtains in the front of the room for privacy.
The other two queen bedrooms are on the lower floor, and each has a door and a private bathroom.
So if you need more than four sleeping on the same level - say you have more than two kids who are too young to sleep two levels below you - this may be a consideration for you.
We placed the bunk in the upstairs loft next to the king bed for this reason - our daughter is little and we want her to sleep near us for at least the next ten years. Or twenty years. Can I request twenty?
BEARS
You will likely see bears. They are all over this mountain. If you hate bears, if bears scare you, if bears would ruin your vacation, this is not your ideal cabin.
ONE NIGHT STAYS
I welcome single night stays, but PLEASE note this before booking. Our cleaners are on a schedule that is a well oiled machine. The crews are lined up and placed based on a number of factors I won't bore you with. But, I am unable to reschedule them or tell them to go grab a breakfast sandwich because we have a late check-out. I understand that this is an intense bummer when you just arrived last night at 4:00. One night stays are not ideal for everyone for that reason. Also please note before booking a one-nighter, that this cabin is often booked back-to-back and if someone just left the morning of your arri
