I'm Joel Oconer, CEO, and Host of Casa Luisa Joshua Tree. Originally from the Philippines, I migrated to the United States in 2000, driven by a desire to achieve my own version of the American Dream. While my primary career is in pharmaceutical research, my passion lies in hospitality. In 2019, I embarked on a journey as a host, blending my love for nature, art, and making meaningful connections. Through functional design and thoughtful amenities like a pool, hot tub, and baby grand piano, Casa Luisa offers a unique experience. Since our inception, we've proudly held the title of Airbnb Superhost and Guest Favorite, with recognition from Booking.com's Traveller Review Awards 2024.
