This is a beautiful and newly remodeled 2-BDRM on the ground floor of a stacked duplex (the upper level is a completely separate unit). Cozy fireplace, reclining sectional, 70" smart TV, free parking and wifi, fenced yard, fire pit, private entrance, deck and furniture. Handicap accessible through the garage.

If you would like to rent the entire house for a larger group with 5 Bedrooms and 3 bathrooms for up to 10 people, please see our other listings.

We provide linens, towels, toiletries, bathrobes, a welcome basket with snacks and wine, kitchen pantry items and lots of other goodies for our guests.

We have two outside security cameras overlooking the garage and driveway area

We are minutes from shopping, dining and close to public transportation. Only a few minutes drive to the new IU Health Hospital, Indiana University campus, College Mall, and downtown Bloomington. We are also close to Lake Monroe, Lake Lemon and Griffy Lake.

fateful. That’s the best way to describe this property and the property manager. It’s well appointed and extremely comfortable. We are here a short time and did not have a chance to use the kitchen, but could have made any number of full meals. Neighborhood around it is quiet. We will definitely be back again.My only criticism is the bed. I am a hot sleeper in the bed seem to absorb and radiate my body heat. When I return, I will probably bring a thin blanket. So, if you are a hot sleeper, plan accordingly. If you’d like to be warm, when you sleep, you will be in heaven.

This was my first time staying at a VRBO property and Althea set the bar VERY high. The property is in a convenient location near IU’s campus and stores such as Target. The unit was spotless and very well appointed. They thought of all the little details!! My family was comfortable here. Althea is so responsive and easy to deal with. We look forward to many stays in this apartment over the next four years. Thank you for an amazing stay during our first college move in.

Lovely home

We were very comfortable during our short stay in this beautiful suite. It was the perfect spot for us—close to IU which was convenient for moving our kids in but far enough away that we enjoyed a quiet, peaceful stay. Detailed touches provided made it feel very much like home!

The gift of hospitality!

Nancy and Althea truly take care of all the details. These two homes (up and down) were so comfortable, plenty of space and nicely decorated. The power strips by every bed made charging phones and other things wonderful! The remotes were labeled and easy to find. The supplies made available in the bathrooms and kitchens was amazing. And wonderful wine and treats upon arrival. Coffee made available and oatmeal, seriously so many little touches it was amazing. Best hospitality we've seen at a VRBO rental. If you are coming to this area, this is the place to stay.

We are a mother and daughter duo who have lived in Bloomington since the early 2000's. We love to travel together and have stayed in many vacation rentals around the world. We try to provide the same hospitality we have appreciated on our travels.

We have sought to equip our home to a high standard and to anticipate your needs by providing all the things you might want for a comfortable stay. Hair dryer, toiletries, coffee, snacks and other amenities are provided as standard and a washing machine and dryer is available so that you don’t have to worry about luggage restrictions. If you like to cook you will find our small but well-equipped kitchen a delightful place to make a delicious meal.

Because there may be guests in the upstairs unit, we ask that you be respectful about your noise level and be considerate of any other guests in the home. There is a neighborhood noise ordinance with quiet hours between 10 pm and 7 am.

Our philosophy
You want to have a wonderful holiday and we want that for you too. We believe that when you are here this is your home for however long you are staying and that you will be relaxed, comfortable and happy.
