Short scenic walk to the beautiful lake and recreation park which is 0.8 mile downhill from the house. Be mindful that you are in the mountains so some roads might be steep to walk for kids and elderly guests. Local activities: fishing, hiking, biking, swimming, beach area & 300-ft waterslides, paddle boats or explore to the Village for shops, restaurants, antique stores and a bowling alley.

Home was beautiful and magical! Lakeview was amazing, the trees, the stars, etc. Home had plenty of fans, air conditioning units, board games, pots and pans, etc. I would highly recommend!

Great location ! The host was friendly and helpful, the house clean and well equipped. Spectacular views of the lake and an amazing view of the July fireworks !!! Would definitely stay again.

Great stay!

Went for the 4th of July firework show and it did not disappoint! Beautiful view of the lake! The beds were a little hard and not too comfortable but overall we had an amazing stay! Would recommend!!!

Some of the beds are special made (much more expensive) with firm matresses for better back support as highly recommended by a good physical therapist friend. Labor Day Weekend Getaway

Our family decided to rent a cabin close to Lake Gregory for Labor Day Weekend. The cabin was very clean and well stocked. Our kids enjoyed playing with the provided games and toys, and us adults enjoyed the scenic view of the lake from the balconies. It was in the perfect location, about a mile from the lake. We definitely would stay at this cabin again.

Time with my family

The house was wonderful it gave us our together time and privacy as well. The two floors were like two separate hotel suites, two rooms and it's own bathroom on each floor ,. The kitchen had everything I needed to cook , toand to bake., with so much counter space, and room for all of us to get in the kitchen together. The view was spectacular, the sun rise and sun set were amazing. The balcony were huge. I would definitely want to come back for fourth of July perfect place to bbq and enjoy fireworks. And our host was so helpful and informative, responding so quickly to my text, it's a wonderful cozy house , I enjoyed my time there immensely. Thank you

Dear Michael, Thank you again for staying with us. We appreciate your feedback in assisting us make it better for future valuable guests like you. The house rules clearly stated that no pets are allowed. Please kindly advise where you smelled the odor so we can investigate and address the issue. The house provides a variety of complimentary items such as coffees, teas, cookies, snacks, cereals, oatmeals, rice, noodles, condiments, and etc. We found a few expired boxes of powdered drink mix which have been discarded. One of my favorite things to do is to relax and enjoy outdoor dining with a panoramic lakeview. Therefore, in addition to the indoor dining sitting for 10-12 people, the house provides an outdoor dining set, one on each of two decks, for a total of 10 people sitting comfortably. Both dining sets are covered with weather protected covers. Extra outdoor table and/or chairs are available without cover which could be dusty. It is noted in the description of the house. We take pride of ownership. The house has so much to offer not just because of all the nice remodel works done but because we put lots of love and care in the house. We believe that embracing the natural world is a fantastic way to enjoy life, boost energy, release stress and rejuvenate overall physical and mental health. There is only one planet earth. We are in the mountains where are home of wild animals, insects and plants. We are only temporary guests here so we respect mother nature and appreciate all that nature has to offer. We hope every guest that we welcome would appreciate it as much as we do!

Family getaway …

We have been to crestline for the 7 past years and this by far was not the most pleasant . Yes in the picture descriptions it has the pictures of the locks all over the house, but when you get there it just gives unwelcoming vibes. Huge locks around the kitchen and top floor small hallway . Also 3 out of 4 bedroom don’t have actual mattresses, they’re just like some sort of toppers !! Really uncomfortable, like sleeping on the floor . Having said that it's definitely overpriced for this uncomfortable and unwelcoming feeling. We went on this getaway to relax and enjoy our stay there and we walked out with backaches.

It Was "Good Enough"

We rented this home so that we could watch the fireworks from the deck, so I'm aware that we probably paid more for the special event than what they normally charge. It was way overpriced for the quality of the home. We did, in fact, watch a beautiful firework show so I cannot complain about that. However, I am from the mountains so we visit a lot to see family and I would not rent this home again or recommend it to friends. The house honestly felt like a bachelor pad. There was nothing warm and homey about it. The centerpiece on the table was a bottle of rubbing alcohol and tissues. The couches were very uncomfortable and you could feel air flow out of them when you sat. They had couch covers which made me wonder how old they were underneath. The beds were very hard, the upstairs queen bed felt like a box spring only. There was a game closet but every single one was missing pieces. It was not a very kid-friendly home. There was nothing for babies or younger kids (like a baby gate, high chair). The worst thing was the motion-detection lights. It's not great to walk to the bathroom or getting up with the baby in the middle of the night and the light pops on! A few nice touches would have been drinking glasses, clean and full soap containers, plugs/chargers on nightstands (most were hidden behind beds and couches), clocks in the bedrooms. Overall, it was good enough but I wouldn't have paid that much for the quality if I knew.
