The Chill Zone,
Located in a quiet neighborhood with river views and peaceful back deck setting, yet walking distance to multiple restaurants and just a 12 minute walk to the beach. Perfect for winding down after fishing or surfing, away from the hustle and bustle! The house comes equipped with a couple of bikes to cruise to restaurants. There is cable TV in every room and Wi-Fi and a cozy sectional to take in the warmth of the gas fireplace. The kitchen is well equipped to stay in, cook with your group, and enjoy the views. It has 3 bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms.
Pacific City is a cute town with many great restaurants including an award winning brewery right on the beach overlooking the surf break and Haystack rock just a few minutes drive away. The beach is known for sand dunes, tide pools, surfing, and dory boat fishing. The house is situated just a few minutes walk away from a boat launch on the Nestucca River, where salmon/steelhead fishing and crabbing is popular. PLEASE READ AND UNDERSTAND HOUSE RULES BEFORE BOOKING.

Great Location

I love how this property is central to everything. The beach, grocery store and other beach towns are only a hop and skip away. We especially enjoyed going to the beach during low tide to look at all the beautiful sea creatures. I also enjoyed listening to all the birds as I sat on the deck looking out onto the river.

We have stayed at many rental homes, and this home is at the top of the list. WOW! It is wonderful. The home is quiet, well stocked with all the necessities and more, nicely furnished, has a great deck, comfortable furniture and beds and spotlessly clean. Thank you, for a memorable stay. Christmas on the coast

Very sweet place, nice a quiet with direct water views of the Nestucca river and plenty of room for the four of us. We had easy walking to the center of Pacific City with great local eateries. Very close to the beach, but quieter on the river side. The house was well stocked with everything we needed for our stay.

Cozy, relaxing home with amazing view

Gorgeous house right on the river. It was a cozy, welcoming environment with adorable decorations. Everything was perfectly clean and organized, and the check-in/check-out process was super easy. The view from the back deck is absolutely unbeatable! The neighborhood was nice and quiet, and only a quick drive from the beach. We absolutely loved our time spent here!

Great place to stay in a very quiet neighborhood with beautiful view of the river. The walk to the beach is an easy walk, 15 minutes. Only 1 issue: there was hardly any toliet paper and no refills. Not a big issue.

Peaceful home by the water

One of the best homes we have rented online the coast. Wild life everywhere, peaceful and quick neighborhood. Beautiful homes with everything you need. We kept up, we love the deck and wild life that’s right off the deck. A must if you’re staying in this area. Thank you for sharing your homes with us. We will book again next year.

Family Needs

We came down to celebrate the loss of a family member and this was a perfect little place to stay. Beds were comfortable and clean as well as is was spaced out enough for each of us to have our own space. There was a small event that was out of the ordinary which they were quick to respond to and address appropriately. Would definitely stay again!

Sweet cottage on the lake

We really enjoyed our stay here. It was such a sweet and cozy cottage. The neighborhood feels calm and safe. Our view of the lake was wonderful. The place is well stocked with everything we needed. The only thing that renters should know is that the third bedroom is in the open area upstairs so there is not a separate door to the room.

Total Chill Zone

The house is amazing. Beautiful view and an easy relaxing stay. This house made our trip so much more relaxing. Everything was easy access and fully stocked with kitchen necessities. Very clean and comfortable. The beds were super comfy and plenty of supplies to make our stay there worry free. We definitely want to stay here again.

Oh, my, goodness! What a lovely home. The attention to detail is amazing. The decor is fun, cozy and inviting. Thoughtful touches like the angel cards in the bowl on the entry table are fabulous. Rebecca and Gabriel grew up in Arcata, California which is very similar to the Oregon coast. They have been full time residences of Central Oregon for 25 years! They have two amazing children which are now in their upper teen years. This family is very busy and full of life. We pack our days with Snowboarding, fishing, soccer, traveling, hiking and music concerts!

This property is a dream come true and brings us back to our coasty roots. We love the Oregon coast! The very chill vibe, the damp air that sooths the sinus's, the oceans bounty of fishing and surfing. It is the perfect escape for central Oregonians! This is where we decompress, and just stare out at the river and wildlife as long as we need to. The house is very soothing and feels like you're in a tree house above the river. Most of Pacific city down by the beach is all vacation rentals, this house is surrounded by year round residences which keeps it quiet and less busy. This is less of a beach party house and more of a quiet retreat for people that need it. We love all the neighbors and want to respect their privacy and neighborhood.

Right in town but out of the way location. The street traffic is only people accessing their house so it is very mellow here. In the evening you can watch the sun go down as you observe the river go by, all while hearing the waves crash in the distance. Very easy access for fisherman, the main Nestucca boat ramp is located at the end of the neighborhood, a couple of minutes walk away!
