Yes, we enjoyed our stay. A few specific things…hot pads for oven items and more silverware. Appreciated the packets of kitchen and bathroom cleaning items.

Host was welcoming, easy to navigate the house and shop. Good location for what we were looking for with good views. The kids room worked but it definitely felt like a converted garage.

Fantastic getaway

The property and amenities were everything they were described to be. The pool is amazing and our teens were kept entertained by pickleball, Cornhole, billiards and all of the other great features. After showing pics of our stay, all of our friends want to experience the barndomium!!!

Enough space for the whole crowd!!

Beautiful location, lots of game options, comfy beds and linens!! Quick drive to Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg, and Smoky Mountains NP! The teens loved the gaming loft and beanbags. The adults loved all the nooks to have some quiet time. All 13 of us had a fantastic time. Thanks for sharing your home!

Literally CanNOT Control the Weather

We had a great stay at the Barndominium!! Unexpected weather gave a few surprises (such as sharing our first night with another group!), but it was still amazing! Our surprise housemates were great and the property really was amazing!!

Loved the Barndo! Was a little difficult finding the place, but once we found it, it was wonderful. Only negative thing we could suggest is adding a TV to the family room downstairs as we had planned on watching a big game that weekend and ended up having to leave to go somewhere else to watch it as there was no tv in living area. Also the water had a horrible rotten egg smell that the owners did clarifies just sulfur in the well, but still, made brushing teeth and bathing a not so great experience. Other than that, beds were amazing, games throughout barndo were great and fun, and very spacious!

2022 vacation

This property was just as described. Check in process was easy. Only issue we had was a small problem with some yellow jackets and property manager communicated with us and had pest control come out and take care of them. Property has Wi-Fi but no phone service. Other than that no issues. Best part of staying here was spending time on the front porch.

Barndominium

Nice location .. secluded but could have been a better experience . Only 2 bathrooms .. water pressure was so low could not shower in upstairs and downstairs was very low pressure. There were cob webs and dead bugs on floor .. could have been cleaned a little better before our arrival. Weeds growing up around the house from lack of yard work . Cabinet doors were falling off the hinges when opened. Could be a very nice place if someone managed the upkeep and landscaping better.

We have already corrected the water pressure issue. As well as the other things that were mentioned. We had a wonderful time at the Barndominium! We had 5 families / couples drive in from 4 different states for a small family reunion. Everything was just as described and was perfect for our group. The pool was actually even nicer than we thought it would be. The house was well equipped with lots of space. The pickleball courts were awesome! The kids loved the pool table, shuffleboard, cornhole, etc. The land is gorgeous and has a very secluded, private feel with beautiful views. We made great use of the firepit.When we had minor hiccups (air conditioning had briefly frozen up, had a question about the pool) the property manager replied promptly and in a friendly way. Checkout instructions were simple.Tips for summer guests: there were some bugs (not mosquitos, something else very tiny) so bring bug spray. The property did not have pool toys so bring floaties if you like those and maybe some folding lawn chairs etc to hang out on the pool deck, which is more spacious than the photos had looked. If you plan on lots of pickleball, bring a fan to keep the shed cool. There is just one fridge so bring coolers if you have a lot of people. You can buy firewood and ice down in Wears Valley at places where you can pay with venmo (wood) or a credit card (ice). We had a fun time rafting at River Rat too.The carpet in the house could probably do with a refresh soon but in general everything was very nice with comfortable beds, plenty of towels, etc. We would definitely recommend!

Got to cabin late Friday and immediately found that refrigerator/freezer didn’t work at all. Emailed host and received reply next morning that they were going to send someone out. The maintenance person didn’t come until 4:30. In the meantime we had no way to get drinks cold, no way to have ice to pour drinks over and no way to keep food cold. Maintenance man said he couldn’t fix it and would let host know. We had bought 2 coolers and some ice that afternoon when no one had come. Host solution was to reimburse us for coolers. This was on Saturday. I asked if they couldn’t get even a dorm size refrigerator for us to have something to use. He said they didn’t have one. Walmart, hello???? We were unable to keep meats, milk, popsicles, or bring leftovers back to the cabin. Nothing was ever done by the host to remedy the situation and when we left Monday, the refrigerator and freezer were still broken. All of this really put a damper on our Labor Day weekend trip, cost us money and the host didn’t do anything to help.

Perfect amount of space

One of the best vacations we’ve ever had! We met the property manager who was very prompt in solving the slight plumbing issue. The Barndominium was the perfect size for our family. Plenty of room to spread out. Plenty of comfy seating. There were only 2 televisions in the entire dwelling and no cell service which allowed a disconnect from social media for a bit. The only downfall was there were only 2 bathrooms but we made it with no problems. Thanks for allowing us to stay. We will be back!!
