Nice weekend away

My family and I stayed here for New Year’s Eve weekend and loved it! It’s in the perfect location of restaurants and downtown and close to the major freeways! The host was awesome, very responsive and helpful she accommodated a last minute request that we had!! It’s a townhouse with it’s own separate backyard and it look just the like photos listed. We truly enjoyed our stay and will stay again if we’re back in the area! 10 out 10 would recommend 😀 Thank you!

Nice neighborhood, perfect location to walk to downtown Royal Oak.

Well stocked & clean kitchen, clean rooms and bathroom. Unable to enjoy sitting in the backyard because the lawn needed maintenance. The cushions for the patio chairs were soaked...they should be brought inside when not in use. We were looking forward to spending more time relaxing outside and could not. Comfort of living room was "ok". Beds were comfortable.

Fun stay near Royal Oak!

We enjoyed our stay at the VRBO! It was very nice to have the light switches labeled. The beds were comfortable and the linens were nice quality. The kitchen was well appointed. A few suggestions are- consider using less intense light bulbs in the dining room light fixture- it was overly bright. More lighting in the living room would be appreciated. The storm door is missing the spring/coil and it is difficult to close/manage. Thank you for a great stay!

Quiet and nice location

Overall it was a good stay. A few things to mention, the couch is different as pictured. The chair and couch we had were not very comfortable. As another reviewer stated the lighting in the dining and living room needs to be better. Too much bright light in the dining room and not enough in the living room. Our last 2 days were gorgeous and we wanted to open the windows but they were either broken or the screens were. The one bathroom is upstairs (not a complaint just a note). The beds and rooms were very comfortable and there were plenty of towels and even shampoo and conditioner and body wash in the shower.

Thoughtful hosts, excellent stay

This was a last minute trip, and I appreciate how accommodating the hosts were. They communicated well and in a timely manner, answered my ridiculous questions, and in general were the best kinds of hosts. The town house is super clean, tidy, cozy, and exactly as pictured--it was everything I was looking for from a solo stay and I'm pretty pleased with myself for making this choice. The location is perfect if you're looking to spend time in the Royal Oak area. Quiet, but with easy access to everything. What impressed me the most were the thoughtful touches throughout. It's the little things that make a huge impact--nice bathroom soaps/amenities, careful labeling (dish soap, hand soap, light switches, etc) which sounds like a small thing, but it isn't! I hate turning on the lights only to learn it's the disposal and of course the water isn't running. Toiletries, snacks (!), coffee, linens and towels...these are all some of the little things that made a big impact. 10/10 totally recommend!
