Gather and relax in this spacious log cabin! Perfect place to get away from it all! Inside all the comforts of home -enjoy games in the Game Room, enjoy a glass of wine on the wrap around porch or watch a movie in Media Room. Kitchen is well-appointed and looks out onto spacious deck with view. After a hike, enjoy the new hot tub off the patio. Whispering Pines Cabin is the perfect place for family gatherings, weekend with friends or just to get away from it all.
At night be sure to look up-the stars are AMAZING! Or take a look while sitting by the new fire pit - bring your s'mores!
There are some little critters (no bears) around, and a local flock of wild turkeys. We do have 1 security camera, pointed towards the driveway. The deer seem to like to hang out there a bit!

We had a wonderful time at this beautiful home. Really could not have asked for a better place for our three generation family weekend. Everyone enjoyed the hot tub and the ping pong tournament in the game room. Porch was lovely for peaceful morning coffee. Rooms were comfortable, kitchen well equipped and house was decorated so beautifully for the fall season. Host was super responsive and helpful. All in all a great experience. We can’t wait to do it again!

Perfect Mountain Escape & close to Jellystone Park

We came in from Charlotte with our two young kids ( 8 & 1) and out of state family from the Midwest. Let me just say the pictures do not do justice to this cabin and property. Beautiful, comfortable and so clean! The beds and linens were comfortable and there was plenty of seating for everyone. Both adults and kids enjoyed the game room and movie room. We spent 2 days at Jellystone Park that offered day passes and it was a short 4-minute drive from the cabin. We even took a day trip to Forest City where the kids enjoyed an old school arcade. The host was very communicative throughout our stay. The hot tub was clean and so nice to enjoy at the end of the day. Would definitely recommend and will stay again!

Luxury and serenity in the mountains

The cabin is located in a private environmentally friendly setting. It offered a peaceful rejuvenating retreat after several days of traveling. The host provided healthy snacks and coffee making it easy to settle in and enjoy the wonderful views from the expansive deck. The rustic decor and spotless interior was designed for comfort and enjoyment. Our family enjoyed the downstairs movie and game area after a day outdoors. Communication was excellent and the tranquil beautiful setting is the perfect retreat for outdoor, eco friendly families. We looked forward each day to walking scenic trails and spotting deer and song bird and watching hummingbirds fly by. Sitting on the deck at night stargazing under clear skies was a bonus to enjoy every evening. We are looking forward to returning and highly recommend this cabin.

Great host with a beautiful mountain setting cabin!

The house is beautiful and well maintained. The wrap around porch was amazing, and it included gates so the dog and little ones were safe while out there. Each bedroom was comfortable and very roomy. There was more than enough room for our party of 6 adults, 4 kids, and 1 dog. Mollie was an amazing host and helped us get through a difficult time during hurricane Helene. I would recommend this cabin to anyone!

Beautiful mountain house

Our family loved this beautiful home and are looking forward to future visits. The game room, movie room, hot tub, and views were an added bonus. Highly recommend a visit to Forest City where there are several shops and great places to eat and visit. The house is off the beaten path, but very easy to access.

Amazing, Top to Bottom!

From the moment we pulled into the driveway, I could feel the peace just being on the property. We walked in, and there were fresh roses in the kitchen for us and a basket of goodies. Everything was stocked, and we had need of nothing! There were ample dishes and cookware. We could have vacation all week just staying in the cabin! Plenty to do and peacefulness in abundance. There was even small fragrance bottles in the bathrooms. The homeowners went above and beyond! Check in and out was a breeze and the responsiveness for our questions was very timely. This is the perfect place for a quiet getaway!

Lovely Getaway

The pictures of this house don’t do it justice — it is very well maintained, clean and stocked with everything needed for a relaxing, cozy stay. The host was very helpful and communicative when needed. The only downside to the location is that most grocery stores are at least 30 minutes away, so make sure to stock up prior to checking in if you don’t want to have to venture out. All in all, we had a great stay! Adults and kids all had a blast and we spent a lot of time in the game room, movie room and hot tub. Great place to get away!

Perfect mountain escape

As a Christmas gift for our daughter and her family, we rented Mollie's cabin in the woods for three nights. Since they are currently living in an RV while building their new home, the house and property gave three active boys room to roam. It was the perfect place for boys and adults alike and even better than described. The cabin is large, beautifully decorated for Christmas, and well-supplied. We had a great time exploring the area: the boys went "mining", my daughter and I went to the winery, and we all enjoyed easy hikes, local restaurants, and the Arcade Museum nearby. The hot tub was great at night - no star gazing due to the clouds and rain but that didn't dampen our stay. We family binge watched Jurassic Park in the media room! We didn't get to do the mountain coaster nearby since it was closed for the season but we'll leave that for another time. Mollie was a super communicator quickly answering any questions we had. We highly recommend her cabin if you are looking for peace and quiet.

relaxing Retreat

This was our second visit to this cabin, and we will definitely visit again! It has plenty of room for my husband and I, along with our 3 adult children, to spread out and relax. We especially enjoy the hot tub, which seats the 5 of us comfortably. We watched a few movies while we were there, and again, there was plenty of room for all of us to sit comfortably. The living room is spacious, and we used the coffee table to play several board games, which were provided. The kitchen was well-stocked and had everything we needed, including a blender and keurig maker. We also used the fire pit several times and appreciated the provided wood. The added niceties such as towels for the hot tub, k-cups, snack basket, shampoo & conditioner, and blankets in the movie room, make this cabin very welcoming! The property is easy to get to and well maintained. The back deck has comfy chairs for enjoying quiet mornings. Overall, this is just a great cabin, and we look forward to our next visit!!

Fall Break Teen Advance

My wife & I took some of our teenagers from our church for a fall break trip. Whispering Pines is a beautiful cabin with everything that we needed, and the entire cabin was super clean. The beds were extremely comfortable, and having a bathroom on each floor was very convenient. All of the fall decorations were a nice touch. The teens enjoyed the game room in the basement. We would definitely love to stay here again if we are ever back in the area!

Awesome Stay!

This place is called Whispering Pines, but I prefer to call it Tranquility Base. In a remote, wooded area, it was easy to leave all of our problems behind and to spend serious quality time with family. Ten of us were very comfortable. You will feel as if the forest is yours. The property is excellently maintained, clean and well appointed. Host Molly was exceptional and replied very quickly on several occasions when I had questions. We did seek out some activities and found some great tubing about an hours drive away, and we found some beautiful hiking under umbrellas of tall pine trees at nearby South Mountain State Park. You won’t regret staying at Whispering Pines. We are already planning our next visit.

Family getaway

We had a wonderful long weekend at the cabin. Our favorite things were sitting in the hot tub, rocking on the deck, using the movie room and playing pingpong. The cabin had everything we needed and lots of little things to make it special. We would definitely stay here again!
