Lakeside Retreat is a lovely house right on the shores of Lake Erie. We had a relaxing holiday with lots of swimming at the beach. The hosts are wonderful and very helpful. It was a great holiday.

My family and I spent a week at this beautiful Lakeside Retreat and thoroughly enjoyed every minute. The weather co-operated for the most part too. Communication with the host is excellent and a homemade apple pie left for us was so thoughtful. Everything is at the cottage that you could possibly need and a great location. Comfortable and clean and lots of space for a family of 6. I would highly recommend this cottage and would love to stay again. A side note, there are lots of rocks at the beach, so beach shoes are highly recommended.

My family and I stayed at this cottage for a week and all agreed that after over 15 years of staying in the area for a week each year, this was one of our favorites. It was spacious, comfortable, clean, and had all the essentials for us for the week. The photos are beautiful but do not do it quite enough justice. We had a wonderful week.

Great View!

We had a great time staying at the house. The owners have thought of everything. Well stocked kitchen with everything you need. It was quiet, clean with an incredible view. We got our kayak and paddle boards out on the water a few times. Walking distance to Hippo’s is a plus and you will definitely enjoy the food. If we are back in the area we would love to stay again!

Our lake front is great for paddle boarding and kayaking glad you were able to enjoy time on the water. We are so fortunate to have Hippos Restaurant just steps away from the cottage.
