Großartige Lage - nur zwei Blocks von der U-Bahn-Station Foggy Bottom entfernt. Wir sind zu Fuß zum Kennedy Center für darstellende Künste (kostenlose Aufführungen - täglich um 18 Uhr auf der Millennium Stage), Museen, "The Mall", das Weiße Haus ist acht Blocks östlich des Hauses, Lebensmittel, George Washington University & Hospital, Historic Georgetown Mit all seinen Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Restaurants, dem Hafen von Georgetown am Potomac River (spektakuläre Aussicht von den Innenhöfen und dem Park des Restaurants), dem Dupont Circle, dem West End, dem Außenministerium, Botschaften, Kinos und der Innenstadt. Einfach mit dem Auto zu erreichen.

Genießen und entspannen Sie in unserem wunderschön renovierten Stadthaus mit 2 Schlafzimmern, Höhle und 2 Badezimmern. Die Schlafzimmer sind mit zwei Queensize- und einem Einzelbett (Raum für Luftmatratze, falls erforderlich), Bettwäsche und Handtüchern usw. ausgestattet. Wir haben auch ein Pack n 'Play für die kleinen Gäste.

Das Haus hat große Fenster und zwei große Oberlichter. Erdgeschoss - offene Grundrisse mit Wohnzimmer, Esszimmer und Badezimmer. Französisch Türen aus dem Speisesaal führen zu der ersten Steinterrasse in diesem sehr privaten Gartenbereich. Gehen Sie weiter zur zweiten Steinterrasse mit Blick auf das Wassertor und darüber hinaus.

Die moderne Küche ist voll ausgestattet mit Kleingeräten und Utensilien, erstklassigen Geräten, Granitoberflächen, vielen Fenstern und Fliesenböden. Die Badezimmer wurden mit Marmor und Fliesen umgestaltet. Zentrale Luft und Heizung, Geschirrspüler, Waschmaschine / Trockner sind im Preis inbegriffen. Holzböden im gesamten.

Wir befinden uns in einer ruhigen Straße mit einem großen, abfallenden Vorgarten und einem großen Garten mit zwei Steinterrassen und Grill. Das Haus ist eine Nichtraucherumgebung. Bleiben Sie in Verbindung, während Sie Urlaub machen oder mit Kabel-TV und WLAN-Internetzugang arbeiten. Parkplätze sind auf Anfrage verfügbar.

Great location

Washington DC was crazy busy during the 4 days my family visited. The Cherry Blossom Festival was at its peak, high school groups seemed to be everywhere, there was a Nuclear Summit that had visiting dignitaries from 22 countries and plenty of other spring break families, like ours. The location of this row him, in Foggy Bottom, was perfect because it was close enough to get where we needed to be in 15 minutes but away enough that when we returned each day, it was quiet and removed from all of the bustle. My husband and I traveled with our four boys ages 15, 13, 10 and 4 and the space was perfect. Our bed was very comfortable. Having the extra bathroom with shower downstairs was really nice in the mornings when we were trying to get out of the house by a certain time. Whole Foods is 2 blocks away, right next to the Metro station, and it was easy to bring home a few bags of groceries which saved us from always having to eat out. Everything was clean, comfortable and communicating with the owner was easy. She let us check in early, texted me during our stay to make sure everything was ok and was willing to drop off a parking pass on our last day when we picked up our rental car for the rest of our trip (you don't need a car if you are staying here.) The rates were more than reasonable when looking at getting two hotel rooms elsewhere that wouldn't have had a charming back yard patio, kitchen, dining room or living room. So glad this was available for our stay. I'd recommend it for a family the size of ours or two couples.

Great, classic townhome in a great area of DC. Easy walk to monuments, museums and Georgetown. Great owner to work with - always available and easy to get into contact with. Great communication in the days leading up to our stay. Would gladly stay here again during our next trip to DC.

Great location

Located in a fairly quiet neighborhood (airport is nearby, but travel noise usually subsides after 1130pm and a major hospital is a few blocks away) Foggy Bottom Metro station and Whole Foods are a quick walk from the rental. Taxi/Uber is expensive compared to the Metro and it has many convenient locations to area attractions. Make sure you have good walking shoes since there is a lot of walking involved. The rental is perfect for a couple, small family, or 2-3 friends. Downstairs bathroom is small, but doable for 1 person. The stairs may be an issue for people with limited mobility. The kitchen is well equipped for cooking and there are a few staple pantry items. We did not use AC/Heat except our last day (weather changes from day to day) and the thermostat is a NEST. We suggest that if you can make online reservations for some of the attractions (Washington Monument, Capitol, etc..) prior to visiting, it is much easier than standing in line early in the morning. DC is a highly secure area and many security checks. Bring as little as possible to be sure you will be able to enter, they are more strict than TSA. DC is an amazing place with so much to do and the history of our country is in the heart of it all!

Great Location

Very pretty, well decorated townhouse in great location. Very close to a metro stop and only a few stops from the mall and other sights. Well equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, and plenty of towels. Trader Joe's is 2 long blocks away. The only negative for us was there were limited restaurants available nearby. We got around that by eating near the mall which had lots of restaurants so it wasn't that important. I would definitely stay here again.

Quality in great position

Stayed for days in Foggy Bottom and it was great. Positioned just a short walk from the Metro so very easy to get around without a car. The apartment was clean and tidy and our host was always available if required. Had no real problems.Recommend it for any Washington stay.

Definitely a 5 star place!

Our family of four (plus a dog) vacationed at Diana's place for 6 nights and loved every minute of our stay. The home was super clean, comfortable, well decorated and in a superb location. We were able to walk to all the DC sights and when we got tired of walking we rented bikes from the Capital Bikeshare (just around the corner from the home). As noted by many reviewers, the close proximity of WholeFoods and Trader Joes was also amazingly helpful. I highly recommend this place and will be looking to rent here again the next time I visit DC.

Perfect property - ideal location

Our family of 4 really enjoyed our stay in Foggy Bottom and Diana was very easy to deal with throughout. The property was clean and spacious and had everything we needed. But whatvstood out was the location. 5 min walk to the Metro, 15 min walk to Georgetown and 15 min walk to the Lincoln Memorial.

Great location and comfortable house

Loved staying so close to where I lived 30 years ago. Easy walk to the Foggy Bottom metro. Owner was super responsive to fact that we could not get the coffee maker to work and brought us a back up for our use while we were there. No other issues. Plenty of towels, nice to have access to the washer / dryer since we were coming from Mexico and needed to do some laundry. Great stay and would stay again.

Excellent property, Helpful Owner

The property is well-situated in Foggy Bottom, only a few minutes from the metro station of the same name as well as a number of solid restaurants, grocery stores, and the like. It was an awesome base for my group's new years trip to DC. The house itself is comfortable and well-furnished, and it is obvious the owners have done all they can to make the best use of the available space; the addition of a third bed in the den space upstairs was perfect for our large party (one couple and two singles). Only real negative is that the stairs are kind of narrow and steep; not a real problem for my crew of late 20-somethings, but anyone with mobility problems may want to look elsewhere. The owner was easy to get in touch with and very responsive to any questions or concerns. Seriously, if you're looking for a nice place to stay for a DC trip, this one is hard to beat, between the quality of the place itself and its location.

Exactly what we needed

Very comfortable, very well appointed, and very conveniently located rental. First time renting in D.C. (usually use hotels). Never going back to a hotel again. This home was very warm and inviting. Location is awesome. Plenty of space for two couples. Great kitchen, two patios, BBQ. Shopping, dining, and public transit all very close by.

Charm + cleanliness + location!

We truly enjoyed our stay in Foggy Bottom. The location was perfect and we could walk to dinner restaurants and even Whole Foods and Starbucks for breakfast. Very comfortable and well-equipped with everything we needed. Beds were comfortable and nice bathrooms. It was a bit warm for sleeping, as we happened to hit on some very hot days but the fans saved us. I would highly recommend!

Lovely townhome

We enjoyed the stay due to the location and how the home was set up. All amenities were there although we went out to eat all times. We enjoyed the hotel for dinner one night, which is conveniently located about a block away. It was easy to walk to most memorials plus Georgetown. Lovely historic area. Thank you so much!

Trust the reviews - this is a total hidden gem!

We had a lovely 3-night stay at Diana’s townhome. The home was very clean, comfortable and well equipped. Whenever we are on the road we always seem to struggle with enough accessible plugs. Not here! She had power strips conveniently located throughout the house. Seems like a silly thing to mention but it’s little touches like that that really make a big difference. I also appreciated the clean and plentiful linens and nice bathrooms. Beds were super comfy too! The neighborhood felt like a little oasis in a bustling city. We loved the proximity to the Foggy Bottom metro and Whole Foods which was accurately represented in all of Diana’s communication. The home was perfectly suited for everyone in our group which included two grandparents; two adults and two children. We will definitely stay here again and will recommend to any friends who plan to visit DC!

The townhome is very nice, comfortable, and perfectly situated for seeing all DC has to offer.

What a lovely time we had. The back yard has a beautiful garden and a view of the Watergate Hotel! DC is a great place to visit and this townhouse in Foggy Bottom is a great place to stay. Be aware that it has many stairs to enter and the bedrooms are upstairs. For seniors like us, that can be an issue. Have fun traveling!

Fabulous townhouse, even better location

My mom, wife, sister and I had tickets for Hamilton at the Kennedy Center for July 5 and decided to make a mini-vacation out of it. Wife and I took Amtrak and Metro, with an easy walk from the Foggy Bottom station. Mom and sis drove, and used the parking permit left by Diana. The home itself was fantastic: a well-designed kitchen, two full bathrooms, plenty of sleeping space. It would have nicely accommodated five; a full seven would make it a tighter fit but would work if you really liked each other. The back door led to a lovely patio that looked out directly on The Watergate, and back stairs to the alley (with a locked gate) made for a quick walk to Georgetown and the Kennedy Center (even with mom’s bad knee). We highly recommend the Capitol River Cruise for a different view of the city, and fireworks on July 4 from the front patio of the Kennedy Center. Dinners were easy via Uber Eats, and we supplemented the breakfast and lunch foods we brought with a delivery from Whole Foods. Last but not least, Diana was an exceptional host. We would not hesitate to rent her eye street home again.
