When the host says, all you need to bring is some food they were not kidding. The space was lovely and large enough to accommodate our family. Everything was clean and it had everything we needed. Would definitely stay again if we're in the area!!

Was very clean and plenty of space for 5 kids and 3 adults. Kitchen had supplies needed. Yard for playing. The town has parks and is not far from State parks and the Dells.

Nice house in great location

This house is nicely updated and in a good, quiet location within walking distance of downtown. The living area is comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed. Very clean! A nice screened-in front porch, too. The only thing to note is that, as this an older house, the upstairs was a bit hot.

Overall pleased.

The only thing that would have made the stay better were some fans or window ac units upstairs. It got very stuffy up there, the kids took turns sleeping on the floor downstairs to get cooler.

Nice clean home in Portage

We were in town for a national shooting event in Lodi, and this nice little house was just 15 minutes from the range. Air conditioning works great downstairs where there is one bedroom. The other 3 bedrooms are upstairs. A little warmer up there, but it cooled off at night enough to make sleeping comfortable. Stocked with Keurig coffee was a really nice touch. Used the charcoal BBQ to grill steaks and burgers also. Thank you!

Dance National Trip

We were in town for a dance competition in the Dells and decided to stay in Portage because this house met our needs for bedrooms within our budget. We enjoyed the Bungalow and Portage very much!The house met our expectations! The upstairs did get warm, the provided fans helped! We appreciated the stocked items in the kitchen. We felt like a pizza pan and a few plastic dinnerware items would be helpful! We have a toddler and the glass dinnerware made us nervous! We did use the provided paper plates for her though! We also feel like a mirror in each bedroom would be beneficial! And maybe a tv in 1-2 of the bedrooms! The hosts were very friendly and easy to communicate with!

family stay in Portage, WI

We had a great time in Portage with our children and granddaughter! The house was perfect-- very clean and everything we needed. The owner was easily reached when we had an issue with the refrigerator and all was fixed shortly after. The house is walking distance to the town, winery, museum. A short drive took us to a few historical places that explained the history of the town name and the area. Devils lake hiking an beach, the Dells water park and Deer petting zoo was within a half hour drive. We spent an evening in Baraboo and the young adults enjoyed the breweries. It was a great place to stay in the middle of a lot of activities for many age groups!

Wisconsin Family Vacation

The house was superb as far as cleanliness and necessities. But the air was horrible. They had one bedroom downstairs and the other three upstairs. Everyone but my husband and I slept downstairs. We had to use a fan upstairs to have air. Horrible . They probably need to upgrade the AC unit to a five or six ton in order to cool the upstairs since that's where most of the bedrooms are. And we sat in the car for 30 minutes before we were able to get into the house. It took me calling our host for thirty minutes before I finally got a call back. But once again the house was beautiful.

Thank you for your stay and we are sorry our historical Bungalow is a bit warm upstairs when its 90 . As for not being available during check-in, the email instructions were sent 48hours prior to arrival to the address who made the booking. We do our best to make everyones stay full of memories.

Great place and the kids enjoyed playing hide and seek during their down time 😊 Other reviews said it was a little warm upstairs, but the house cools down easily! Would definitely stay again!
