Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. This 4 bedroom, 2 bathroom home will sleep up to 6 people comfortably, but can accommodate up to 8 people (2 Queens, 1 Full, 1 Twin, 1 Fold out couch). We offer a fully stocked kitchen with dishes, pots, pans and even an instant pot so you can choose to eat at home!

When you are ready to adventure, our home is close to everything - restaurants, museums, and fun! Walk, drive or Uber! Enjoy Corning like a local.

We enjoyed our stay. Home is in a nice quiet family neighborhood. It is convenient to the Corning Glass Museum and downtown Corning with many shops and restaurants. The home is nice and clean. A few simple upgrades would make this VRBO a 10.

Great stay, location and neighborhood

We were in town for two weeks to visit family and friends. This VRBO worked great for us, home away from home. Located in a nice neighborhood, close to the Corning Glass Museum and downtown Corning.

Short stay in Corning

Overall, a great house! Walkable distance to the downtown; safe, quiet, and quaint. Fit our group of people comfortably and fit all of our needs! Would definitely recommend to a group needing a place to stay.

Great little house & location.

Love this place. Close to Corning Glass Works, Market Street & highway 86. A half hour drive to Watkins Glen. I highly recommend a vist to this area of NY.

Super convenient

House was clean, quiet, and cozy with four nice bedrooms. It was well-equipped with paper goods and cleaning supplies. The location was excellent - as close to the Corning Museum of Glass as if we parked in the parking lot!

Long weekend stay for Wineglass Race

We were a group of friends/family mostly from Florida, who came to Corning for the Wineglass half marathon. We had a fantastic weekend and the house was great for our stay. The location was perfect. One suggestion would be to add a few more chairs in the kitchen. We highly recommend this house for future Wineglass participants.

The place was dirty. Hair in the shower, toilet top was not clean, kitchen counter was sticky. Food was left in cupboards, fridge and freezer. Deck and chairs were covered in animal feces. On the plus was the location. So very disappointed. If this is standard for VRBO, I wouldn't rent any property from them

I am rating this property 5-star because it is hard to beat the convenience, and the owner has been VERY responsive throughout my 5-night stay. The house is almost walking distance from the glass museum and just a relatively short drive away from Finger Lake area waterfalls. However, cleanliness definitely didn't meet my expectation. Although large surfaces (e.g., bead, floor, counter top, etc) were clean, the house, in general, needs a deep cleaning. Blinds were dusty, base boards were not clean, the stove hood was greasy. Noticed cobwebs at several places all around the house.Regardless, thanks to convenient location and owner's prompt response to my many queries, we were able to ignore the imperfections.

Convenient location to everything!

This house has everything you need to sleep and cook and even lounge in their big backyard. I took a week long glass intensive at Corning. The house is in walking distance to the museum, or a four minute drive. Wegmans and Market Street with all the cute shops, galleries and restaurants are also a short drive. I hope to return soon. Seth was a wonderful host! Thank you so much!

Glassmaking Class Trip

Along with 2 friends attended a week long glass making class at Corning Museum of Glass. Decided a house would be more fun vs a local hotel and we were much closer. Only 2 blocks from the Museum and Studio where class was held so perfect location! The home was clean and tidy. Seth was easy to communicate with and we even were able to arrive earlier for check in. Neighborhood was safe and house was advertised. Short drive to area for groceries and restaurants. Would stay here again next time we are in town. Thank you Seth.

Unacceptable

First the good: the house is located on a nice block in walking distance to the glass museum. Thats it.The house was filthy. Dust bunnies on the walls in the kitchen, layer of filth of the ceiling fan, fridge was not clean, staircase was not vacuumed, etc.....the bathroom rug was so dirty we removed it. I cleaned and dusted the kitchen and living areas and contacted the host, Scott. His response was to tell me the house had not been used recently and that he was sorry. He made NO attempt to remedy the situation. Then I sent him pictures. And still he offered nothing more than an apology. I have rented many houses through VRBO and this was by far the worst one in terms of cleanliness. The best part was when I turned on the oven to cook a ham for Easter and the entire house filled with smoke because there was something that had spliied on the bottom of the oven from the previous renters. My second favorte part was when I lifted couch cushions to find the sofa bed and instead found food and a baggie with toothbrushes, also left behind by previous renters. Whoever Scott has cleaning the house is ripping him off. Ironically enough there was a large supply of cleaning products underneath the kitchen sink. But I was really disappointed that the host was not responsive at all. I would not recommend the house to anyone until there is proof it has been THOROUGHLY cleaned.

Great Location

Walk five minutes and your at the Glass Museum. Walk ten minutes and you’re in the center of one of most vibrant small towns in America. Drive thirty minutes and the beauty of the Finger Lakes will take your breath away. This four bedroom house was perfect for us and we couldn’t have asked for more gracious hosts.

Seth and Amy's home is not only conveniently located for our work, it is situated in a lovely, quiet, family-oriented neighborhood. It truly felt like a home away from home since we enjoy cooking in our free time.
