This floor plan makes it great for a couple and small children. The condo also features Internet access and an iron/ironing board. The 1 bedroom condo is friendly and light colors chosen to fit the Emerald Coast will complete your cozy and warm feeling of being on vacation.
I have one set of bath towels for each guest but I do not provide beach towels.

Each condo is alloted only 2 parking spaces and 2 parking passes per unit. Please keep this in mind.
It is just a few minutes walk from the community’s 1100 ft private beach. Sandpiper Cove is a centrally located, family-oriented community with amenities such as 5 pools (2 heated during the winter), 3 whirlpools, 6 lighted tennis courts, 2 shuffle board playing fields and a 9-hole par 3 chip and putt golf course. I do not provide supplies for any of these activities.
The community is gated with 24 hour Security Guards for your protection.
The sugar-white sand and emerald water of the Gulf of Mexico border this property. You can spend a day at the beach without worrying about anything. The Beach Pavilion, located on the private stretch of beach, offers snacks and drinks, additional rental umbrellas and chairs, jet-ski's, ocean kayaks, parasailing and restroom facilities (only during peak season).
You don’t want to cook or leave the community for dinner? No problem, just take a stroll through the neighborhood and seat yourself at the harbor’s Louisiana Lagniappe. Besides delicious meals, Sandpiper Cove’s harbor also offers boat ramps and docks. If you want to go to Destin harbor but don’t want to take the car, take a boat ride from the resort to any of the dining establishments in Destin’s Harborwalk Village.
The community consists of only two story buildings so there won’t be an overrun with neighbors and the private beach has enough space for the residents and guests of Sandpiper Cove. There is no long way to carry your bags from the car to the condo, compared to hotels and high-rise buildings, because the parking space is directly in front of the building. Kids will enjoy the large expanses of grass to play on, away from major streets.
If you like to have a little action while on vacation Destin offers skydive, sail, cruise and dolphin watch. Also located near Sandpiper Cove are mini golf courses, a waterpark, a bowling hall and a small amusement park for kids. Destin Commons Shopping Mall is only 10 minutes away and is a shopping village with an AMC movie theater.
A few minutes from Destin and Holiday Island you find Okaloosa Island with miles of untouched white-sanded beach if you want to grab some things and enjoy the serenity of listening to the waves of the Gulf of Mexico.
Explore the many opportunities that await you on the emerald shores of this stretch of the incredibly scenic panhandle of Florida or simply relax.
Please remember to not park U-hauls, trailers, jet ski trailers or boats as they will be towed without notice.
ABSOLUTELY NO SMOKING OR PETS ALLOWED inside the condo or balcony. If so, AIRBNB will be immediately notified and charges will apply.
***There are a lot of great things happening at the Sandpiper Cove. Sandpiper Cove is an older built property. But many owners and management at Sandpiper have been beginning the process of renovating inside of the units and outside. Roofs, staircases, front porch, decks, interior of condos have been worked on from Nov through March. With that comes noise unfortunately. Exterior work will be stopped during peak season so noise level should be at a minimum.***
All amenities are accessible for our guests.
Parking during peak season does become difficult as there are no assigned parking per unit.
We do keep a locked closet for owners use only that is NOT accessible to guests.
NO EARLY CHECK INS POSSIBLE DURING PEAK SEASON (March-October).
Check in is strictly at 4 pm. Most of the time we won't be able to accommodate early check ins especially during PEAK season unless the condo is cleaned and sanitized prior to 4 pm. Unfortunately, there is no place to store luggage while waiting for check in time.
** The reason why we have a 4pm check in is because my cleaner can't find help and there is HUGE shortage of cleaners and labor staff nationwide. There maybe times where we can accommodate earlier check in but that would be dependent on how many condos my cleaner has to clean.*** Also due to labor shortages in particular (cleaners), cleaning companies have had to increase cleaning fees which is why cleaning fees are high.***
NO LATE CHECK OUT POSSIBLE DURING PEAK SEASON (March-October).
Late check out fees will be incurred at $150. DURING peak season, I tend to have back to back bookings, where ONE GUEST checks out and I have ANOTHER GUEST checking in the same day. My cleaning company needs to get in and clean and sanitize the place for incoming guests. They only clean between 10am to 4pm. If you need late check out, you will pay for another night.
****Hurricane and Tropical season usually occur JUNE THROUGH NOVEMEBER***
We highly recommend purchasing Travelers insurance for your stay as we DO NOT REFUND FOR TROPICAL STORMS*** If it is a hurricane, then we will definitely work with you as far as cancelling. HEAVY RAIN AND STORMS are not refundable. You will not be refunded for heavy rain and storms that frequently occur June through Nov. PLEASE KEEP THAT IN MIND*** AGAIN PURCHASE TRAVELERS INSURANCE if your stay will have heavy rain and storms.
Sandpiper Cove is only minutes away from shopping, casual or fine dining and entertainment as it is in the heart of Destin, a few minutes away from Destin Harbor and its Harborwalk Village.
It is located in the heart of Destin minutes away from shops, restaurants. Please check out my guidebook and see local favorite restaurants and things to do in the area. The Louisiana Lagniappe is one of the best restaurants in Destin and it is located within Sandpiper Condominiums. Destin is a city in northwest Florida, in the area known as the Panhandle. It's known for its Gulf of Mexico beaches and many golf courses, as well as the Destin Harbor Boardwalk. Nature trails pass through the dunes of Henderson Beach State Park in the south, where the coastline is dotted with pine and oak trees sheltering wildlife. The unique sand of the beaches in the Destin area is among the whitest and most homogenous of the world. The Sandpiper Cove is located in downtown Destin. Many recreational activities are available nearby, including charter fishing, boating, scuba diving, parasailing, boat and jet ski rentals, surfing, kite surfing, golfing, cooking classes, wine tastings, seasonal festivals, a water park, arcades and other children's activities, and others. Premier shopping is also nearby with Silver Sands outlet mall and Destin Commons, as well as many other upscale shops located in retail plazas. Destin has many fine restaurants including those specializing in local seafood, steakhouses, American and ethnic cuisines, and beachside dining. The area also has an active nightlife with plenty of bars and opportunities to hear live music. Henderson Beach State Park located a tad east of Destin boasts 6,000 feet of picturesque shoreline snuggled against the emerald Gulf of Mexico, rich with dolphins, sea turtles, fish and birds. The park offers swimming, picnicking and bicycling. A hike on the nature trail will allow you to snag a rare glimpse of the coastal dune ecosystem. The wildlife is plentiful, the views are serene, and it’s pet friendly. Guided tours are available upon request. Animal lovers will adore the Florida Gulfarium with its three live marine shows. The Dolphin Show and the Multi-Species Show rock, but the kids’ favorite is the Sea Lion Show. Want to get close enough to touch? The “meet and greet” sessions allow you to feed, pet and help the Gulfarium’s dolphin stars perform a behavior, and the “dolphin encounter” allows you to actually climb in the pool with one, with reservations.
Car is HIGHLY recommended. Sandpiper Cove is just a few minutes walk to their very OWN PRIVATE BEACH WITH PRIVATE BEACH ACCESS. Beach access is right across the street and can be very easily crossed. If you drive to Harbor Walk Village and park the price is $10 per vehicle. As of now, the Sandpiper Cove has 2 parking spaces available per condo. We are unable to accommodate boats and trailers or jet skis.
