Ok for what it was
Overall, I gv the property and stay a B. There were a few things that needed to be addressed (this was communicated with the owner) that may have been corrected by now. There was 1 major thing that the owner could not address and that was the upstairs neighbor. We came to Houston to visit with a term. family mem. and wanted a place to go to @ the end of what were very emotional days. We arrived on the 3rd. On the 6th,7th & 8th we were awakened btwn 4:45 and 4:50 AM by repeated stomping in the apartment above us. I tried tapping on the ceiling with a broom handle to let them know they were bothering us with the excessive noise but that was met with more stomping. I advised the owner of the issue and was invited to go up and tell the neighbor that they were being a disturbance. While I obv. could have gone up there, I did not feel comfortable approaching them considering what had been going on for two days by this point & was certainly not going to send my husband up either. I was told by the owner that he would do his best to "get this resolved". Nothing changed and the disturbance continued each day until we left. I should note that there is a lobby so there are on-site employees.
Aside from the that, the only other things we encountered issues w/ were 1) the garbage disposal not working 2) some of the LED lights did not work & 3) we used batts. from our devices for one of the TV remotes. We were not offered any compensation as others have 4 the issues, but he did apologize.
