This is Will and Nancy Hughes, owners of Starry Creek Ranch. We are both from military backgrounds but have spent the majority of our married life in Texas raising our children who are now adults. We have a history of traveling to unique places and enjoy adventures that take us off the beaten path. Our most recent venture included buying a hill country ranch on the spur of the moment during Snowmaggedon (nickname for the snow storm that hit Texas in 2021). While many were hunkered down for a long winter's nap, we were out finding the ranch of our dreams. And now, it is our pleasure to share this amazing discovery with you.

And even though we are a bit remote, we are close enough to civilization to plan some wonderful day outings.
Take a one hour scenic drive to Waco to visit Magnolia Market (and see the Gaines farmhouse on the way). Or explore one of many artisan towns that are within 30 minutes of the ranch. With a little planning, big city adventures are also within your reach, with Dallas, Fort Worth, and Austin just over two hours away. Don't forget to add golf, horseback riding, or a custom excursion of your choice to your plans to make your vacation truly unique.
One thing is for sure -- this is no cookie cutter location. It's a one of a kind ranch with enough natural beauty and charm to captivate your heart and hold a piece of it forever.
