Thank you for staying with us Josh. We will be sure to address the caulk in the shower. We have to replace it every few months due to the iron in the well water but it is difficult to do so in the summer when we are booked pretty consistently. Sorry we know it gets a little warm in that bedroom, that is why we provide a floor fan, a ceiling fan and a black-out blind because unfortunately the window is too large to accommodate a window unit AC. This July has been exceptionally hot as well, so that doesn't help.

Thank you for staying with us Robert, we do feel we offer a nice space that works well for people, we are happy it worked for you. To address your concerns... If you could message me to elaborate on what you did not find clean about the space, that would be helpful as we hire an outside company to do our cleaning and will address it with them. Our patio is power-washed every spring and the space is booked most of the summer, so it is sometimes difficult for us to keep up with the foliage that drops from the big trees in the serene backyard that you noted was a plus. We do not state in our listing that we provide shampoo or or bath soap because it is impossible to know if those may contain something someone is allergic to. Thankfully there is a grocery store across the street making it convenient to obtain items that will work for each guest. We are not aware that the coffee maker spits grounds, you are the first and only person to mention this, but we will do a test run on the machine to assure that it is performing properly.

Crystal, we are happy you enjoyed your stay with us. We are only able to choose "home" or "farmhouse" for the house type, VRBO doesn't offer duplex... but as you and I discussed, there has never been an issue as there are no shared spaces. We have had some very special friendships developed between groups that have stayed on each side at the same time... we drove through and saw some of the girls from your group playing bags with some of the guys from the other group. Hopefully some in your group were able to meet new friends as well. :) Hope your travels home were safe and you had a wonderful birthday!

Anne, we are sorry the house did not fit your sleeping arrangement needs. There are 4 beds in the home that sleep couples. We would kindly suggest for your future stays on these sites that you research the room sleeping arrangements that are noted by hosts. It certainly does not seem proper that you reviewed us stating we were lacking space that you expected when we clearly described in our listing the sleeping arrangements… the same would apply to the amenities you were expecting, we do not list that we supply shampoo or body wash, we do list what we offer. If there was a soap missing in one of the bathrooms, we apologize, it must’ve been overlooked by our cleaning crew during the flip. Had you reached out, as we ask you to do in your welcome email, we would have brought one over. With regards to the toilet, we would also recommend for your future stays that if there is some sort of mechanical issue in a home you stay in, it is best if you contact the host to make them aware of a problem that was easily fixed (the cleaning crew let us know there was an issue after you left) and it was as simple as the water level needing to be adjusted in the tank. As you mentioned, we are very responsive and would have been happy to get it working during your stay. With regards to your statement of price… We are offering our space at a very competitive rate within GR and know that what we offer, the space we provide and the convenience of the location is well worth the price per night. You slept 10 people for 2 nights for $124.79 per person for a weekend stay with a full kitchen, 3 full bathrooms and laundry facilities. Thank you for staying with us.
