This guest has unreasonable expectations. I am very surprised to read his comments.We talked, exchanged texts and emails many times, way more than it happens on average. In addition, he was in constant communication with our property manager who is extremely responsive. I even texted him when they arrived to the unit to make sure everything was fine and it was. Then, we agreed on a place to meet. My family was waiting for two hours and he never showed up.... Other than that he and his family were good guests! Elena

This guest and his friend are the worst tenants we ever had! They are manipulative, rude, and abusive. They harassed us and our two female managers for an entire month while they stayed in our unit and continued to harass us after they left. They wrote demanding, threatening texts and emails, and called at midnight. We have been renting our place for a number of years and never had anyone complaining about slow or/and unreliable internet. Still, as soon as the guest informed us about the internet, we gave him benefit of the doubt and upgraded our internet plan with the local provider by increasing the internet speed by 5 times. The guest stated that the internet got even worse. After that, we asked technicians to come test the internet twice, our managers also came over to check our connection - the internet worked well for everyone but the guest and his friend. The guests started using their mobile hotspots as soon as they landed in Costa Rica - they texted and called us from the road to our place and later, when they travelled around the country on weekends (and were obviously away from our place). Yet, they demanded a refund, which we refused to give. After they realized that the internet story did not work for them, they started to look for other reasons to stay for free: not enough toilet paper, kitchen paper towels, etc. This is our first unfortunate experience and we don't wish to anyone to go through this. You would be wise not to rent your place to these people.

Thank you Tatiana for your review. Per our manager Julieta it was no problem with the internet, you had to do a configuration in your phones or/and tablets. All of our guests were happy with the speed and reliability of the wi-fi. We understand that internet is very important to all visitors and want to make sure it is reliable and fast. Sincerely, Elena
