Perfect rental

Stayed here to attend a wedding in the area. Very clean and comfortable. No detail was overllooked. Fixings for coffee, snacks, toiletries, lots of blankets and pillows, even a sewing kit, lint roller umbrella and more! Backyard is very nice amd private. We didnt have tome to build a fire in the firepit, but we did relax around it with our morning coffee under the beautiful huge tree. Good location. Would definitely stay here again!

A Hidden Gem

The neighborhood is in decline, but the house is perfect. It's convenient to everything and was very clean and comfortable. After a busy day of activities, it was nice to come back to a quiet place to relax. We had a great week!

Such a cute house!!

This house was perfect for our girls weekend. Location was great too! Close to everything! A lot of thoughtful things put into stocking & decorating the home. We would definitely stay there again!!

Family reunion

The property was easy to locate. Well lit on arrival. It was fairly clean, with snacks and water provided. The neighborhood was not the best, with nearby dogs barking all night. I mentioned this to the manager and it did seem better after my message.

Girls weekend away

The neighborhood was a little concerning and I was really doubting my choice of this property.HOWEVER, the house was the cleanest we have ever rented, beautiful inside, wonderful linens, towels, etc and a small but great kitchen. The location is also great.Communication was excellent and friendly. I would stay her again. The backyard is phenomenal and very private.

Family adventure

This location is perfect for a family vacation exploring the coast. We spent a day in Beaufort, Charleston and Savannah. The house comfortably fit four adults. The kitchen and living space had a great flow and plenty of space for playing board games. Location was easy to get to main roads and close to shops. Thanks for the memories!

Mermaid Cottage stay

We were in Beaufort for my sons graduation from Parris Island. We rented the Mermaid Cottage as ut was listed to sleep 7. We thought more family members would be coming, but it was just me and my other children. The Cottage was fantastic for what we beeded and close to everything. We would definitely stay there again.

Awesome place to stay

This cottage was perfect for our weekend getaway. The amenities were thoughtful, generous and thorough! From the snacks to the full size shampoo and conditioner this place had it all! Very convenient to downtown Beaufort but in a quiet residential area. Will definitely stay here again!

Everything you need!

Four Oaks was fully stocked and perfect for gatherings with family/friends. It was completely worth it and we would happily stay there again.

This house was so cozy, had a beautiful backyard with firepit. They were so thoughtful and put a sign in the yard that said I was visiting to pick up my Marine and gave us a later checkout time. We had passes to a nearby beach too. Wish we would have stayed longer and were able to enjoy all the perks that came with our stay. Definitely recommend them.

Wonderful experience in adorable home!

We had a great stay in this home! It was extremely clean and well decorated. We appreciated the special touches like chocolates by the beds, s’more supplies for the fire pit, and very nice toiletries in the bathrooms! We had everything we needed to cook meals and sleep comfortably. We also enjoyed using the Hunting Island Beach pass. We highly recommend staying this is lovely home!

Foyr Oaks Retreat

Nice place ,very clean and was stocked with snacks and other things. We did kill a few of what looked like roaches in one of the bedrooms. Might need to be sprayed. Very convenient to downtown.

Great Rental

As always, Mermaid Cottage properties are wonderful to stay at! Four Oaks was very clean, I received a quick response if needed, and the property was close to downtown. The extra amenities (beach pass and beach accessories) are a great bonus. My family enjoyed the beach 3 days during our stay. We would definitely stay here again. :)

Fourth time renting this home

Since this is our fourth time renting this home, it says a lot. Great location and clean. Comfy beds. To say the property manager is great is an understatement. However it is definitely time for a new couch. Since we were last there, it Has become broken down and the two winged back chairs have never been comfy. The throw pillows need laundering as well. They smell mildewed. To watch tv we piled in bed with the kiddo and watched. Considering we don’t watch a lot of tv, it worked out. Otherwise, it was nice as usual.

Girls’ weekend

This was by far the best VRBO I’ve ever stayed in. Everything was exactly as stated. The owners put forth a little extra effort by providing sample Keurig cups, sweetener and creamer. Everything was clean. There was a basket of snacks and waters on the table. My friends and I had a great stay. Would totally stay there again.

They’ve thought of everything!

This was the cleanest, most thoughtful Vrbo we’ve ever rented! The owner has thought of everything- from toiletries to luxurious towels to fixings for s’mores! Updated and beautifully decorated. Lovely backyard. Minutes from the historic downtown and waterfront park. The SC park pass was a wonderful addition and we enjoyed our time at Hunting State Park. Everything about the house was perfect!
