Thank you for your feedback. We’re glad to hear you found us responsive during your stay. We do want to clarify a few points for future guests. The home is on both internal and external professional pest control, and the screened pool cage is specifically designed to keep pests out. We have not had any known issues with rats or mice, and no such concerns were brought to our attention during or after the stay, which would have allowed us to address them immediately. Regarding insects, in the Cape Coral / Fort Myers area, it is not uncommon for a palmetto bug to occasionally appear, even in well-maintained homes with routine pest service. This is a regional reality and not an indication of cleanliness or lack of pest control. Nonetheless, we did inform our exterminator after the stay out of an abundance of caution. We also transitioned to a new cleaning company just prior to this stay. The only items brought to our attention afterward were a couple of small items, which we immediately addressed with the cleaners to ensure our standards remain high. In response to the initial findings, we refunded a portion of the cleaning fee as a gesture of goodwill. We appreciate the feedback and remain committed to providing a clean, well-maintained, and responsive experience for all guests.
