Joe was very responsive to any requests that we had. He absolutely made the stay very enjoyable. The check-in process was very easy and accomadating. As well as the check-out process! I couldn't have asked for a better time.

The host was very responsive. However upon arrival, the house was not very clean. Per the host there was a change in cleaning companies. They did offer to come do a touch-up but after a long day of travel the 5 of us agreed we wanted to just try to relax without the interruption. There were dead bugs in the kitchen and on our last day a very large cockroach in the main bathroom. The host did state he would let the exterminator know about the bugs. While sitting outside several nights there were rats scurrying around us and up the pool enclosure down the drain and into the grill. That was a bit unsettling.

Thank you for your feedback. We’re glad to hear you found us responsive during your stay. We do want to clarify a few points for future guests. The home is on both internal and external professional pest control, and the screened pool cage is specifically designed to keep pests out. We have not had any known issues with rats or mice, and no such concerns were brought to our attention during or after the stay, which would have allowed us to address them immediately. Regarding insects, in the Cape Coral / Fort Myers area, it is not uncommon for a palmetto bug to occasionally appear, even in well-maintained homes with routine pest service. This is a regional reality and not an indication of cleanliness or lack of pest control. Nonetheless, we did inform our exterminator after the stay out of an abundance of caution. We also transitioned to a new cleaning company just prior to this stay. The only items brought to our attention afterward were a couple of small items, which we immediately addressed with the cleaners to ensure our standards remain high. In response to the initial findings, we refunded a portion of the cleaning fee as a gesture of goodwill. We appreciate the feedback and remain committed to providing a clean, well-maintained, and responsive experience for all guests.

Family get away

Everything was great, really enjoyed having the pool. We were doing a mental reset, as we had a very hard tragedy happen back in January and need a quiet getaway. Really enjoyed it. And Joe was great very responsive and helpful during our stay.

All in one ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Our vacation was amazing, this property had an activity for everyone! My grandma 75 had a great time watching her favorite shows and relaxing in the pool, our whole family went kayaking and enjoyed that everyone could go out multiple people at a time. Then we had an amazing pool tournament as a family. Joe answer all my messages within 5 min. Any questions or concerns he was very ready to help. I truly feel this home is one in a million. My mother even rode bike around the block. She said she felt at home. Will definitely be renting this property again. Thanks Joe for hosting us!

Roomy house

There’s lots of space for a group to stay here. The pool was a nice size. There are kayaks, bicycles and other fun things to do at the house. The neighborhood seemed to be quiet. There are 5 TVs in the house, even the garage and the dining room, but strangely none in the guest bedroom. The pool is heated through the house hot water heater as we learned when trying to shower before meeting friends for dinner. There was no hot water. The weather in January wasn’t warm enough for us to want to use the pool so we mostly kept the pool hot water off. We still didn’t have enough hot water for my husband and me to shower within an hour of each other. The dishwasher is smaller than I’ve ever seen. It often took 2-3 cycles to get clean dishes and for my Cascade pod to dissolve. Our clothes didn’t seem to get clean in the clothes washer either. It took 2 cycles to get Tide pods to dissolve.

Fun florida house with pool

There are activities for everyone at the house: pool table, tabletop shuffle board, darts, swimming pool, kayaks, and a little bit of mini golf. The kids had a blast swimming in the pool. Upon arrival, there did seem to be a decent amount of crumbs on the floor up against the lower cabinets (this and the fact that it is Florida probably are reasons why we found large cockroaches each day). They were on the clean dishes in the kitchen cabinets (drawers), in the laundry room, and in a bedroom. I tried to clean up any crumbs that I could get to. We saw rats crawling over the screened area of the pool. The trash cans outside were half full when we arrived, so as we left, the cans were so full that lids did not shut. The pool house/shed outback does not have a lock and you need to pull up on the door to open or shut because some hinges need repaired. Wifi worked, then didn't, then did again. There was only one single dish towel for the kitchen. We could have used more washcloths. The bathroom doors don't lock. Be careful when you turn kitchen faucet on, it sprays sideways and you may get wet, lol. The gas grill outside needs some repairs, the flames are very small, barely lit. Over all, we had a good time. The pool, pool table, and shuffle board was fun for all of us. The house is in a nice quiet neighborhood. I p
