The villa is old but beautiful. AC in all the rooms which was perfect for all the guests. The kids were in the pool a lot but for the elders it was harder to get in as the pool is above ground. Easy to connect and drive to other cities. It was a refreshing place to pause before continuing our trip. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need and we had amazing dinners in a long table outside looking at the mountains and the vines in the vineyards. I will go back with another group.

Our stay at Salvadore's Villa was wonderful. The grounds were spectacular and the villa itself was everything you want while staying in Tuscany. Perfect for a large group. We were there in August so the pool was key. So refreshing after a day touring the towns, hills and wineries around Montespertoli. Communication with Salvadore was prompt, friendly and efficient.

Charming Tuscan Villa

Wonderful Tuscan villa with amazing views. The house was a wonderful place to relax and spend time with family. The owners are readily available to answer questions or suggest a dining spot. The bedrooms are spacious and very comfortable. Recommend!

Absolute nightmare stay, we had to leave after two days. Pool was out of use and also just old and weathered. Not safe for use with broken boards, wasps nests and rusty screws. Sun loungers don’t work and are old, bbq is just old. The air con is only in the bedroom so the rest of the house is hot. Ants everywhere, visitors got bites and came up in welts. Owner was rude, communication was awful and was disrespectful. Not the stay we booked, would not recommend and ruined our holiday. Didn’t refund the right amount, just all in all the worst place I have stayed in my 20 years of travel.

Great to be in Tuscany

The owner, Lia, is a very good host. Lia would come by almost everyday to water the flowers and we would sit & chat. Lia would help us with our Italian speaking and we would help her with her English. The rooms are very spacious, clean and comfortable. We experienced 100° temperatures all during our stay and the bedroom air conditioning worked perfectly. There are several fine restaurants in the area and there are three cities nearby where one can take the train to cities like Florence or Siena. The villa is in a good location

Memorable stay at the villa

We had a great stay here. Our family of 8 enjoyed the peaceful surroundings and the pool. The villa was as advertised. This is an older property so things are a bit dated but they work. All bedrooms are air conditioned which is rare in this part of the world so we were largely comfortable. One of the rooms was too big for the air conditioner to cool it down effectively. Also one of the showers wasn't working when we checked in and the owner informed us of it in advance. The kitchen is well equipped. The owners are very responsive and friendly. We got a lot of bug bites inside the villa the first night and they promptly solved that for us so the rest of the nights were much better. We would recommend the villa to anyone looking for a nice Tuscan experience!

A home away from home

We had a thoroughly enjoyable stay at Villa Albertina. The host Lia was just wonderful accommodating and very helpful. Dinner was just delicious. Special mention must be made for the breakfasts served by Simona which was not only delicious but well thought of . You know that she aimed to give us a piece of Tuscan life in every bite. There was cooking classes as well, which my two girls appreciated so much. It was educational, easy to follow and super fun! The Villa was just beautiful . Elegant rooms and gorgeous furniture. But I think the best asset of this place is the warmth and hospitality that exuded from the host and permeated the whole feel of the place. Egle their dog was just the best bonus for a perfect family vacation. We adore that sweet dog There were some issues with the air conditioning and electrical load but these were attended to immediately and sorted out very quickly. I would go back to Villa Albertina in a heartbeat. Thank you Lia and Simona for a most lovely, restful vacation. I felt like a queen I feel that I have a home in Tuscany!

Lieu typique pour un séjour en Toscane

Meilleure maison ancienne pour un séjour en famille ou entre amis. Très bien placée pour visiter Florence, Sienne, San Giminniano, Grève in Chantier, Vinci……La piscine est hors sol, donc un peu moins agréable qu’une vraie piscine, mais bien rafraîchissante!

Fin de año en la Toscana

La casa es una maravilla. En la mejor zona de la Toscana, rodeada de colinas verdes y villas de ensueño y con una avenida de cipreses única dandote la bienvenida. Lia, la propietaria y su marido son un encanto, atentos, siempre pendientes y de muy fácil trato. Entrañables. El hijo de Lía Carmelo, muy eficiente y educado al tratar temas organizativos. En fin, he estado con mi familia ( 11 personas de los cuales 7 son adolescentes y jóvenes) y hemos estado encantados con el lugar y hemos sido muy felices allí. Recomiendo totalmente la villa y el lugar.

merveilleux séjour à 3 familles

La villa est belle, avec beaucoup de charme (architecture, ameublement ancien, allée de cyprès...). Elle est pratique pour cohabiter à plusieurs familles (une salle de bain par chambre, des murs et des protes épaisses qui isolent bien du bruit). Pas de piscine, ce que nous recherchions avec de jeunes enfants, mais une charmante fontaine pour observer nénuphars et alevins). Malgré la chaleur, la maison reste agréable (clim dans les chambres et vastes loggias).
