Au Logis Noisette - SAINT LOUP GEANGES

A polyglot and globetrotter with a passion for travel (having visited some fifty countries), and a pastry chef in a Michelin-starred restaurant, Eloïse welcomes you to a charming, authentic 17th-century farmhouse, steeped in history and fully restored, nestled on a 5-hectare estate, largely untouched (a family property since its origins), which also includes the elegant neighboring manor house. Peace and tranquility abound on the edge of a vast plateau of fields and wooded meadows, in the heart of a peaceful residential hamlet, bordering a delightful, typical little village with a few small shops and a supermarket, nestled on the banks of the Dheune (a bucolic, fish-filled river), between the Chalonnais and Beaunois regions, at the edge of the Gergy forest, the literal "green lung" of the area dotted with ponds. The surrounding countryside is pleasant and unspoiled (classified as a ZNIEFF for its rich fauna and flora), a soothing landscape of gently rolling plains blending agriculture and nature, between cultivated fields, meadows, and vast national forests (including one protected as a "Natura 2000 Zone" for its rich ecosystems), just a stone's throw from the crossroads of the vineyards of the renowned Côtes de Beaune, Hautes Côtes de Beaune, and Côtes Chalonnaises. This spacious and very comfortable gîte boasts a warm, rustic charm with contemporary touches, a delightful mix of vintage features (including beautiful terrazzo floors in a 1970s-style bathroom) enhanced by the unique character of the original building (preserving the old stone and wood lintels and stone walls). A cozy and inviting atmosphere. A very large, intimate garden with mature trees, featuring a spacious gravel terrace in front of the cottage (sunny and/or shaded) and a lovely herb garden, complemented by a gentle meadow adorned with a fruit orchard (raspberry, apple, mirabelle plum, cherry, plum, apricot, pear, walnut, etc. / fruit picking possible during your stay), offers a beautiful, unobstructed view of the surrounding countryside and the Dheune plain. Composition: The cottage is located in a house that includes the owners' family secondary residence, which may be occupied (complete independence). Wi-Fi (fiber optic). Oil-fired central heating. The cottage is on the ground floor and comprises: a living room/kitchen/lounge, a bedroom (double bed 140x200cm), an office area (with a sofa bed 140x190cm for occasional use), a shower room, a laundry room, and a separate toilet. Private terrace, bicycle storage, and parking are also included. Shared garden (2000m²) if the family accommodation is occupied (private otherwise). Small shops and supermarket 1.5 km away. Perfect location "on the border" between Saône-et-Loire and Côte d'Or! Charming authentic traditional 17th century farmhouse fully restored - adorned with a pleasant 2000m² garden - nestled in peace and quiet, on the edge of fields & meadows, on a historic 5 ha family estate (largely "natural") 1.5 km from a supermarket and 10 km from the illustrious fortified city of Beaune & its famous "Hospices" ("capital of Burgundy Wines"). Total tranquility nestled in the heart of a residential hamlet, on the edge of a typical small village, in the heart of the preserved Chalonnaise countryside (classified in various ZNIEFFs for its rich fauna and flora), bucolic landscaped setting of gently rolling plain mixing agriculture and preserved nature, close to vineyards as well as vast state forests (including one protected in "Natura 2000 Zone" for its rich ecosystems), bordering the Val de Saône and the green lower valley of the Doubs (also protected in "Natura 2000 Zone", a paradise for fishermen as well as nature lovers). In close proximity to various "natural" footpaths and marked "green walks" (a vast network of identical routes to discover on foot or by mountain bike), not far from the Romanesque churches circuit, 4 km from the "Voie du Tacot" Green Way (serving Beaune), 7 km from the "Voie des Étangs" cycle route, 9 km from the Voie Bleue (along the Saône) adjoining the EuroVelo 6 & "Cycloroute 71" cycle route (Tour of Saône-et-Loire by bike) and connected to the Green Way of the Great Loop of Southern Burgundy as well as the Bresse Green Way, 10 km from the "Voie des Vignes" cycle route (36 km among the most famous vineyards in the world), about ten kilometers from the superb GRP of the "Grands Crus" (connected to the GRP "Au fil des Vignes et Vallées" as well as the GR7 & GR76), 16 km from the Canal du Centre Green Way (a famous route also ideal for relaxing boat trips), about fifteen kilometers from the "crossroads" of the renowned vineyards of the Côtes de Beaune & Hautes Côtes de Beaune and Côtes Chalonnaises, and about fifty kilometers from the Côtes Mâconnaises (various wine routes to discover, including the "Route des Grands Vins" and the prestigious "Route des Grands Crus" passing through the legendary wine villages of Puligny-Montrachet, Pommard, Meursault…all nearby). An exceptionally privileged location on the border of the Côte d'Or, not far from the Jura, at the edge of the Chalonnais and the Bresse Bourguignonne, at the crossroads of the Bresse Jurassienne and the Beaune region. Ideally located for exploring the region: 6 km from the Beaune Levernois Golf Course, 16 km from Verdun-Ciel (a river marina nestled at the confluence of the Doubs and Saône rivers), 16 km from Chagny (renowned for its Sunday morning gourmet market), 23 km from the spa town of Santenay, 24 km from Seurre, 25 km from Chalon-sur-Saône (a designated "City of Art and History"), 29 km from the medieval and wine-growing town of Givry, 35 km from Pierre-de-Bresse (a designated "Town of Character of Burgundy-Franche-Comté"), 50 km from Louhans (capital of the Bresse region with its iconic medieval street boasting 157 arcades), and 53 km from Dijon. A comfortable and cozy retreat for a rejuvenating romantic getaway in the countryside!
