Step inside and be welcomed by custom barn doors leading to a spacious kitchen that's fully equipped for all your cooking needs. With a large French door fridge with an ice maker and freezer, a marble breakfast bar, and a variety of cookware and spices, you'll have everything you need to whip up delicious meals. The living room is the perfect place to relax, with comfortable seating, a 65" smart TV, and Netflix and Spectrum cable.

This charming solid concrete 1960s revival home has two bedrooms, one with a king-sized Tempur-Pedic mattress, a walk-in closet, and a smart TV, and the other with a cozy queen-sized Bed-Tech memory foam mattress, closet, and smart TV. The bathroom has a shower, and there's a Samsung washer and dryer set available for your use. Plus, benefit from the advanced RainSoft whole home water filtration system, ensuring clean and pure water for your enjoyment throughout your stay.

Guest Access:
The guest has access to the main house and has access to the backyard which leads to the boardwalk. The secondary unit in back is NOT accessible during your stay. It is a separate rental unit.

The Neighborhood:
This is a quiet neighborhood, full of locals and tucked in between the intercoastal Santa Rosa Sound and the Gulf of Mexico. The beach is a 2 min walk following the boardwalk across the street. This property is attached to the Okaloosa Island Beach Access #1 Boardwalk that goes directly to the Gulf of Mexico's beautiful sugar-white warm sandy beach and the intercostal waterway near the Brooks Bridge. The Santa Rosa Sound is a minute or two on the opposite side, also connected to the boardwalk. Okaloosa Island is known for less crowded beaches and is about 10-15 min from Destin depending on traffic. This neighborhood is located near restaurants, bars, etc.

Getting Around:
Guests can get around Okaloosa Island by car, bike, or on foot. There are also several local shuttle services available for transportation to nearby attractions and restaurants. Additionally, the Okaloosa Island Fishing Pier is within walking distance and offers stunning views of the Gulf of Mexico.

Other Things to Note:
The guest should also note that there is no lifeguard on duty at the beach and guests swim at their own risk. Additionally, the unit is equipped with basic essentials such as towels, bed linens, and toiletries. However, guests may need to bring their own beach towels and personal hygiene items. The unit is also a non-smoking and guests are expected to adhere to these rules. Finally, the guest should note that check-in is at 4 pm and check-out is at 10 am, early check-in and late check-out requests will result in additional fees.

Due to being on an island with a tropical climate, there are tropical insects, amphibians, fish, etc. The space is treated regularly for pests however, you may come across a palmetto bug, wood roach, American roach, Ceratopogonidae (no-seams), mosquitos, termites, etc. During storms, we tend to find that insects can and will invade spaces to get away from the rain. While we do take precautions to keep these critters out, it is sometimes out of our control as this is the environment in which we live. The property is located very close to the water — snakes such as water moccasins are seen on occasion, especially near rocks and such, please make sure you are aware of your surroundings. Swimming in the bay there are a variety of aquatic species that can cause harm, swim at your own risk.
