Welcome to A Sweet Retreat! And what a retreat it is indeed! Touching The Great Smoky Mountains National Park, our adorable 2 BD cabin (sleeps 6) is the ideal headquarters for your romantic get-a-way or family vacation. With spacious rooms, a hot tub, wood-burning fireplace, and national park views, you will never want to leave. The location is also ideal - just a short drive from all the action of Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg, but far enough away to feel the serenity of the Smokies!

Located just outside of town on the edge of Wears Valley, A Sweet Retreat is a short 10-15 minute drive to all the restaurants, entertainment and action of Pigeon Forge, but still far enough away to actually FEEL the comforting call of the mountains. And talk about mountains! The Great Smoky Mountains National Park lies literally in the back yard, jutting up majestically from the back porch (and private hot tub). And from the front porch, you can gaze through the trees and into Wears Valley in the distance.

This two-level home offers a spacious living area with large stone fireplace located in between the living and dining rooms. With luxuriously rustic décor, plush furniture, large flat screen TVs, and free Wi-Fi, you and your guests will be comfortable and relaxed the minute you arrive to A Sweet Retreat!

Fully equipped kitchen, dishwasher, full size refrigerator, coffee maker, blender, Crockpot, toaster, grilling utensils, and large wooden family dining table that can comfortably seat 6 guests in dining room.

Whether you walk out to the front or back decks, you are surrounded by nature and views. In the back, you will find a BBQ grill and secluded hot tub that overlooks The Great Smokies National Park! In the front, you are greeted with chairs to sit back and relax and take in the sights and sounds of Wears Valley.

Complimentary starter toiletries, linens/towels, free WiFi, air conditioning, central heat, washer and dryer.

Bears are indigenous to the area and are often seen near or on our properties. Please do not leave food or trash outside.

Kitchen and Outdoor Cooking: The kitchen is stocked with dishes and cookware. We provide a standard coffee maker or a Keurig, so please bring along your preferred grounds or pods.

Regarding the Grill: While we often have a grill available for guest use, we cannot guarantee its availability or condition for every stay. If it is on-site, please note that propane/charcoal is the guest's responsibility. There may be some left over from previous guests, or you can pick some up at a local shop.
