A nice short stay in Prague

We enjoyed our stay very much. It is a beautiful apartment, very well run. We also appreciated the attention to detail, to make guests feel comfortable, I mean hier for example bath gowns und umbrellas that were available in the apartment. The location is very central, short walking distances to the old town and the Charles Bridge.

Wonderful apartment

I strongly recommend this apartment. It was very clean and in a great location. Communication with the property manager was exceptional. The bed and pillows made for a great night sleep. There is nothing worse that a terrible bed and pillow.

Perfect in Prague

The apt is a perfect jewel box: Charming decor, comfortable bed, very functional kitchen. The location could not be more perfect..just yards from the river and a great view of the Castle, St Vitus Cathedral, and the Charles Bridge. An easy walk to anywhere in Old Prague. Lucie was a great host. Very helpful with accommodating some odd arrival times and getting rides. Great suggestions in the welcome book. Highly recommended

Location, Location, Location!

It is said in real estate it’s “Location, Location, Location”. You probably can’t find a better, more convenient location to see everything Prague has to offer. You can see the Vltava River from the apartment. No need to rent a car! The apartment is located on a one-lane cobble stone street just off the riverfront street in a classic Prague architecture building. Entry is at ground (street) level with two security doors and twenty-two steps up to the first-floor apartment. The double glass windows and relatively little night traffic on the street below maintain the quiet we desired. Within a five-minute walk are two mini marts for water and essentials, and restaurants in virtually any direction you walk. Lucy and Karel are wonderful hosts; they have put great effort into restoring this property, and it shows. The information they provided was well organized, clear and current. The apartment exterior provides the feeling of going back in time while the interior is eclectic modern, consisting of three rooms: open living room and kitchen, bedroom, and bathroom. The kitchen includes undercounter refrigerator and dishwasher and a Nespresso machine. The dining table seats four. The living room furniture is sparce, simply a sofa, a big screen smart television, and a shiny glass-mirror figurine. It might have been 55”, but looked even bigger in the small room. The bedroom is spacious with a soft king bed and make up table with mirror. Hanging closet and drawer space is limited. The bathroom is small but has a nice shower with excellent water pressure, a small sink, and toilet. We appreciated the opportunity Lucy and Karel provided us and recommend this apartment for a visit to Prague. We loved the apartment, we loved the city, we loved the friendly people. Lucy and Karel were great hosts. We hope to return one day. Thank you, Lucy and Karel.

Charming apartment, good location, a bit noisy

This apartment is in a great location, close to the Charles Bridge, Old Town Square, Letna and good restaurants and going-out spots. The apartment is nicely renovated and offers a number of amenities (washing machine, dishwasher, kitchen suitable for long-term stay). As I was doing some work in Prague, I stayed for 2 weeks. If you were only there for a weekend, this might not be a big deal, but the street around the corner is home to a number of bars and restaurants, whose patrons both spill out onto the street and walk past the apartment to get back to their hotels, which means that it can be noisy in the evenings and early mornings. Otherwise, it's a great place.

Lucie, the designer, is in love with beautiful interiors, keen to all things nice in particular, she is an admirer of distinct pieces of furniture, which make the interior really stand out and make it exceptional. Interior design means passion and emotions to her. She loves to travel, especially Asia, and she is an coffee addict :-)

Karel, the technical manager, is very success oriented in everything he has ever put his energy into, starting his carreer as a very successful hockey player to now turning his power toward renovations of old apartments and transfering them into pieces of art. He also knows very well the importance of kindness and hospitality from locals when you travel the globe. He loves sport still, but not as much as he used to, these days he appreciates quality food and he is always on a search for a new restaurant. Favourite dish? Moussaka :-)

Unique apartment in the old town in the center of Prague in the style of "Antique". The original elements such as decorative moldings in combination with modern materials such as marble, glass, wood have been preserved. We love the rare black oak on the floor and the brass trim around the windows and the entrance. The Antique style is complemented by a statue of an ancient god and a painting with small antique heads.
