Beautiful location right on the lake. Close to both Asheville and Dupont Park. Cabin is very cozy and beds very comfortable. Views from the back porch are wonderful.

Perfect getaway - close to everything!

This cabin was perfect for my family getaway. Enough comfy beds for all! It is a wonderful location as you feel like you are in the woods far away but you are so close to the main highway to get to groceries, breweries, hiking, downtown Asheville - anything. We love to get to Brevard or Asheville but there's also so many things to do just nearby. The house had everything we needed and the lakeview in the morning and evenings were amazing! Will definitely be staying here again soon!

Best Trip Ever!

The moment we pulled up to this Lakeside retreat and walked into the cabin our family was immediately relaxed (and impressed) and it felt like a vacation. All of us loved the kayaks, fishing poles, lake toys, and firepit. That location was super convenient to great hikes in the Pisgah Forest, and also very close to breweries, restaurants, and shopping. We will definitely book this place again!

Beautiful lake front cabin

This cabin was above and beyond my expectations. It was beautiful, clean, and located on the most peaceful piece of property. We enjoyed fishing in the lake, playing ping pong and corn hole, and had fun game nights with all the available board games. Sitting out by the fire pit and enjoying the serenity of the lake was my absolute favorite part. We will definitely be visiting again!

Awesome place!

We had an awesome time at this property! Very comfortable met the needs of the 6 adults on the trip. The views are great, especially if you kayak to the middle of the pond and look back towards the house! If we could have a complaint, it would be that the downstairs toilet gave a few issues, not wanting to flush properly. Other that, we give this property an absolute 10 out of 10!

Bachelor weekend

The property is as stated and the pictures do not lie. This is a beautiful house. It was perfect for a Bachelor weekend. It was far enough away from the city to chill with the guys/hiking/fishing, and close enough to the city nightlife. House was clean and comfortable. We wish we could have checked in earlier and that is the only downside.

Everything and More

The moment we arrived to Yonder Cabin, it was instant relaxation and happiness. It had everything we needed and more which made it so much easier to travel with a four month old and toddler. The view on the balcony porch looking out to the lake is beautiful and peaceful. You’re in between a valley and views which is hard to find. This cabin is exactly what you’re looking for when you need a little escape. Conveniently located near so many attractions without a tiring drive to and from the airport. We are making this an annual retreat!

Relaxing and beautiful

Beautiful log home on a cute little lake. We loved our stay here. The older boys loved the kayaks! The rooms were wonderful and clean. The bedroom to the right upstairs is not very comfy and some of the linens you can see where not washed. The house was clean for the most part though. Beautiful view on the back porch of the lake:) We would stay here again if we were in the area and do recommend it. Thank you!

Accurate description. Wonderful property.

The home is modern with a lot of cooking supplies included. My group loved using all the amenties: Kayaks on the pond (Great both day and nighttime) Firepit Ping Pong table Upper deck to enjoy the view Kitchen for cooking, etc All three bedrooms are cozy and the additional sleeping beds in the living room were said to be excellent. The only issue was the pullout sofa sheets were dirty (not washed from previous party) Bring your own firepit wood and supplies and don't expect to go swimming in the pond (very murky). Lots of privacy and land with great views of the pond.

Absolutely Perfect

My husband, myself, and 5 kids stayed in this cabin for a weekend in the mountains. The cabin was beautiful and clean and the host even provided hotel-style amenities like little shampoo and conditioner bottles. Since my kids forgot to pack their toiletries, we thought that was a particularly nice touch. The cabin is also stocked with towels, life jackets for the kayaks, and everything you could want to cook with. The host obviously cares deeply about providing a top notch experience for their guests. The local mountains offered lots of beautiful places to explore and we wished we could have stayed much longer. We also forgot an iPad when we checked out and the host was very responsive, found the iPad, and shipped it to us promptly and well packaged. I really can’t say enough good things about them.

Family staycation

Overall, the house was okay. The beds were comfortable and the bar area is a nice feature. However, the inside was a lot smaller inside than it appeared in photos. The outside wasn't well kept. There was animal feces every other step and had to be careful not to step in it. The lake looked contaminated so we didn't bother to use the kayaks. The property manager sent repeated texts of noise disturbance when no one was making noise and then would apologize stating they wanted to make sure we were okay. At one point I thought it was an automatic text because it kept coming to my phone. It made me and family feel very uncomfortable. One time it came through we were sitting quietly playing an uno card game.

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very unhappy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed here with 5 children (two 2yo, 4yo, 6&7yo) and a winter storm knocked out the power overnight so we lost heat and water. There was no backup generator. Further, the storm had downed power lines across the only road out (we had to off-road to escape) and there were houses reported on fire in the area. In short, it was unsafe to stay our last full day and night so we left around 12:30pm. We had contacted Turnkey at 10am with no response. They refused to refund us, first stating that no unused nights are refundable and then stating it was non refundable because we didn't stay long enough for them to respond (gaslighting at its finest). HORRIBLE. Would never stay with Turnkey.

After Christmas Getaway

Cabin and property was just as described and very clean upon check in. The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking and eating. The lake was nice and great for enjoying the outdoors, especially when we sat out around the fire pit. It's nice and quiet around there. Grocery store, restaurants, and other places were close by. We really enjoyed our stay!

Beautiful setting

The house and setting is beautiful and exactly what I was looking for to spend a few days with my family. The house appears clean when you first walk in however there were dirty dishes in the cabinets and dirt on the floor. There was an odor in one of the bedrooms. Empty ice machine and the machine doesn't work. Trash under the beds and some left items laying around such as a necklace and hair ties. Doesn't seem that housekeeping does a great job other than linens. Owners need to be aware of these things. 2 trash bags all that is supplied in the kitchen, so bring your own.
