Place is a duplex. The owner lives in the back on the canal. Guest would have use of Kayaks, hot tub, furniture, and pool which is in the back. Literally a 5-minute walk to the gayborhood (The Drive), restaurants, entertainment, and stores, Fort Lauderdale beach is 3.3 miles close, and guests may use pool furniture. This place is like a Resort. 2 bedrooms, 1 bath, patio, BBQ, beach umbrella, beach chairs and duplex is on the canal.

The space
Quiet but conveniently located to nightlife, shopping, parks, tennis, gyms, and coffee shops. Large living area with 2 separate bedrooms and large living quarters. Laundry roomand a fully stocked kitchen, adjustable workstation. We have put air mattresses in bedrooms and living rooms as well.

Other things to note
Wilton Manor's famous gayborhood combines a small-town atmosphere with all the amenities of urban life. There is also a lot to do, such as walkability, waterways, and wildlife. Don't assume everyone is gay our neighbors are not and some are. There are a lot of bars, discos, dancing, drag shows, Karaoke, singing, restaurants, Gyms, tennis, volleyball, basketball,Pickleball, coffee shops, parks, and some shopping, the area is very liberal.

The place was extremely clean. The inside of the home was very welcoming I was pleasantly surprised. The host was an amazing help, very responsive and immediately available when needed. 10/10 will book again, my friends and I genuinely enjoyed our stay. Literally best place and host ever

Monique and Eric went above and beyond to make our stay an amazing experience. Her place is beautiful and equipped with all the essentials you might need and more.We celebrated my girlfriend's birthday party with family and friends, and everyone had a great time.The host and place are all the good things you will read in the reviews and better.

I stayed here with my boyfriend for a mini birthday celebration with friends and family and it was amazing. Monique and Mickey were amazing hosts. They were able to help us with anything we needed and were very accommodating. The backyard is gorgeous, great amenities, and a scenic view of the river. 10/10 I’ll book this place again!

The place is very nice. Property and condo were extremely very clean. You have all the amenities you want, even pickel ball rackets so you can play at the nearby park, among other tons of games and board games. The yard and pool area were great to hang out and have a barbecue. We enjoyed our stay there and the host , Mickey, was very very nice to us and available anytime for questions. She also has the most adorable dogs that are super friendly. I would definitely recommend a stay here. Its location is great, just a three-four minute walk to the bars, you never have to drive. It was like our own mini resort.

Weekend stay

Overall the property was well-maintained, the property owner was very nice however I wasn’t aware it was a duplex with no direct access to the pool until after booking. The property owner occupies the unit next door and also has multiple dogs. It was a nice place but it didn’t offer the level of privacy I was looking for.

The pictures show it as a duplex and my description says I live on the property. Legally I have to have a gate for the pool you have 24hr access. You never met the dogs for I took them out the back way, they are very friendly King Charles cavaliers. I didn't expect 13 cars and so many people for I was told less. You had plenty of privacy, you did not see me except once to make sure all was well. I mentioned you took my brand new volleyball, pool dog chlorine tablet holder and broke a solar tiki torch. I sent you a bill for but wish you would have just offered to replace. Overall not so bad. This is the only less than 5 star review I have received and I let exceptions by having more people than you mentioned. Disappointed 😔

Supper Hospitable

My wife, daughters and I can’t thank this host enough. Amazingly flexible on check in and check out times. No surprising extra fees to warm up pool or jacuzzi for the days I rented the place, incredible hospitality , was prompt to provide assistance when needed, and allowed me to have my privacy and quietness as desired. Awesome appliances for cooking and bar b q .Even Landry machines to clean up after a day at the beach. It became my go to get away in Florida..

A Quick Florida Trip

This property is impeccable and our host was incredibly helpful. She had tips for where to go in the area and she helped us get situated from the moment we arrived. This place has everything you’d desire…heated pool, hot tub, peaceful area within walking distance to all the fun places, but just far enough that it was quiet to sleep when/if you’d like. Sometimes a place is too good to be true, but not here. It’s everything as advertised.

Wedding Ceremony

My Wife and I decided to have out wedding ceremony here and we could not have chosen better. From the beginning of our booking Monique the host was very helpful both through messages before our stay and during our stay she made sure we had everything we needed and was available the whole time making sure we were comfortable. This truly helped make our Wedding day that more special. She has a lovely place for any occasion. You will not be disappointed at all!

JUST PERFECT!!

Monique's place was perfect for us! Her attention to details is next to none. The home was spotless. The yard and pool areas are resort-like. There were 4 of us in our group celebrating my retirement, and we could not have asked for a better place. The hot tub is the best one we had ever been in! There are countless jets and its large enough for probably 8+ adults! The location was also great, as it is very close to the airport and the beach! Monique is a wealth of ideas for things to do. She recommended the Jungle Queen dinner cruise and we all loved it and will do this again if we ever return to this area. We were looking for a home with a private pool and hot tub to relax and this was just perfect! Monique is a wonderful hostess and super accommodating.

Absolutely amazing

Do not let this rental being a duplex deter you from renting..the location was walking distance to all the bars. the owner has an absolute grasp on her guests privacy and her guests enjoyment... it started with the rental process which was super quick... then the amazing communication and understanding we had... upon arrival everything was ready. The jacuzzi was hot and ready to go... the rooms were stocked and loaded... this place felt like a resort... besides the owner introducing herself we never really saw her. She was very respectful of our space. Her dogs are a bundle of joy and very well behaved..if we wanted to enjoy the hot tub over night the option was available (with the respect of noise). Respect gets you far... all in a nut shell i would rent here a hundred times more. And really cant wait to rent again TBH...The host was such a joy!
