The space

Welcome to 'Southern Sugar by the Sea!' This unit is thoughtfully curated with the guest in mind. From the designer furnishings with an elegant (not over-done) coastal feel to the quartz counters throughout and comfortable beds to sleep up to 12 people and a golf cart included for guests' use, no detail has gone unnoticed.

This two-story town home welcome you with its relaxing vibe for your next family vacation. The living room offers comfortable and tasteful furnishings and overlooks the outdoor patio. Also conveniently located on the first floor is a half bathroom and an in-unit laundry room.

Up the stairs are the three bedrooms. The master boasts an impressive en suite bathroom with double vanities and walk-in glass shower, while the other two bedrooms share the second full bathroom with tub/shower combination. These bedrooms share an elegant bathroom with a shower/tub combo.

SLEEPING ARRANGEMENTS (SLEEPS 12):

Master Bedroom, Second Floor: King bed and private en suite bathroom with walk-in glass shower + double vanities
Bedroom 2, Second Floor: King bed and shared bathroom with tub/shower combination
Bedroom 3, Second Floor: Two sets of three single bunk beds (6 single beds) and shared bathroom with tub/shower combination

Guest access

Prominence is one of 30A's newest vacation destinations, and includes complimentary access to the huge resort style pools (with zero-entry), private cabanas, hammocks, outdoor dining pavilions (with grills), a fitness center and more. A quick walk across the street and you're at The Hub which features restaurants, boutique shops, and the Prominence Town Center event pavilion with weekly concerts and movie nights!

The community pool is heated October/November, March/April and the two weeks around Christmas.

Please note we provide a starter set of supplies such as toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags, dishwasher + laundry pods for your stay

BEACH ACCESS:

There are several convenient beach accesses.

Gulf Lakes Beach Access: The Gulf Lakes access point is located about 1 mile to the east - this is a small access and can be easily missed, but is probably our favorite!

Deer Lake State Park: Deer Lake is located 0.6 miles west. It is popular, but you should know: there is a small parking area at the access (approximately $3 for parking), bathrooms are available, the walk from parking to the beach is a little longer than most beach accesses. It is important to note that because this is a state park and not a Walton County beach access, alcohol is not allowed. Beach service is not available at this location.

Santa Clara: Santa Clara access is ADA approved and is located about 3.5 miles to the west.  Parking and bathrooms are also available at this access.
