Great property for large family. Wonderful pool and outdoor amenities. Kitchen was missing a few supplies (mixing bowls, baking sheet) but it had most of what was needed. Responsive host!

The biggest factor helping us enjoy this place was the permission to have guests - we had 15 people and there was seating for everyone! It is comfortable and as advertised. Nothing fancy and kitchen is adequately equipped (but no recycling bins). Nice that there were beach chairs in the garage for use. Couldn't figure out how to turn on the gutter light string to brighten up the back yard at night. Grill worked great. David was very responsive. Thanks!

Beautiful Stay!

Besides the house being absolutely gorgeous, the location is perfect! You are about a few min drive to the main strip in Delray that has restaurants, bars and live music! The main strip is very lively and David gave all the best recommendations. As a host David is the real deal, he goes above and beyond to make your stay memorable and comfortable. In a couple of months David said there will be an in-ground pool. Another huge plus that me and my fiancé can’t wait to check out in the future. Thank you David for everything, we will definitely be back!

Vacation From Hell

On our day of arrival, we were notified by family members that we had just stayed with that they were positive for Corvid. We contacted the host and informed him of the situation and told him we did not feel comfortable infecting his home and that we would not be staying, he said thank you for that, I then asked if there was anything he could do about a refund. He said because we had travel insurance we needed to go thru them first, after going back and forth with the agents at the travel insurance company we were denied because we did not see a doctor, but we did the home test kits and had proof of us being positive for covid. I have reached out to the host with no response and have left phone messages for him. So now I will give a review of the property, first there is no Hot Tube on the property, when I asked him about this he said it was a mistake and or a typo, Also the property is 3 blocks from Atlantic Ave, but 12 to15 blocks from the center of downtown Delray, the pictures are very misleading, it looks like an attempt to clean up or fix up a very run down house, the washer and dryer are in the garage that is in rough shape, The neighborhood is questionable to say the least, The pool temp is remote controlled by the host and we did call him to raise the temperature. The host was easy to get in touch with up until after our rental period had passed. Overall I would definitely think about renting this house if you want to be close to downtown Delray and a nicer place.

Bill, you forgot to mention that you bribed me to fully refund you or you were leaving a bad review. “You guys did a great job with this house “was the words that came out your mouth. Like i told you on the phone, i cannot fully refund you the day of check in. Thats why there are cancellation policies in place and renters insurance for these exact instances. I appreciate your input hopefully when everyone is better i can host you again!

Large, Updated, and Clean

Completely updated, very clean, large house with plenty of room. Garage parking to secure you vehicle and a very short drive to the restaurants on Atlantic Avenue. Short drive to beaches too. I would stay here again.

Just what we needed

This home was perfect for our family. We came to visit our daughter who is attending a local university. All of us came from various states and some never had been to Delray. This home was extremely clean and all we needed. Owner was quick to reply to our questions and ensure we enjoyed ourselves. There is construction across the street but doesn’t interfere or produce any unwanted noise. We met some of the neighbors including those with the rooster. Friendly and nice people. Home is close to downtown Delray and close to restaurants. There is a heavy police presence but that could be because it’s close to downtown Delray. We felt safe the entire time.

Del Ray beach vaca

The house is deceptively roomy and we could tell the owner David has been working on it. This is an older neighborhood so there are different types of properties, some needing some TLC, but friendly area and accessible to Atlantic Ave and the downtown. One “warning”: there is a neighborhood rooster! We have a white noise app so that helped after the first night. Overall, a nice comfortable place that definitely met our needs.
