The Commodore East is the perfect large group vacation destination. This 5-bedroom 4 bath beach front duplex has all the elements needed for a fabulous beach vacation. Be sure to check out the "Rachel", a schooner that ran aground in 1923 and has been parked in front of the Commodore ever since.

The first level of this duplex features incredible views with a wall of windows. When you are seated at the massive dining table, you'll be able to dine with a great view. There is additional counter seating so everyone can enjoy mealtime together. The kitchen has a unique, large prep counter for those nights when you are staying in for dinner. Or it can serve as a convenient buffet counter for casual dining. You'll be pleased to discover all hard surface flooring through out, granite kitchen appliances and stainless steel appliances.

There is also a large pantry, washer and dryer and full bath on this first level.

Head to the second level and you'll find the primary suite. A king size bed and balcony access make this the perfect retreat. The full bath features a garden tub, double vanity, stall shower and private water closet.

Also on the second level are two king rooms that share a hall bath.

Continue on to the third level and you'll discover the bunkroom and another room with a king bed. The bunkroom houses two twin/twin/twin bunks and a full/ full bunk with twin trundle.

Had the absolute best time with family and friends. Very clean with plenty of room for our 14 guests. Everything was close by. Beach right at your feet. Could not of asked for a better place.

The location and the beach access were excellent. I did not think that the bedrooms were very well furnished. Only one bedroom had a chest of drawers or a dresser. I would suggest that the cleaning crew not use fabuloso or whatever the cleaning solution was. It was so strong that it was almost nauseating. The microwave had been cleaned with it and could not be used because anything you put in the microwave taste like fabuloso. But the agent was very responsive and sent us a new microwave immediately. The agents we talked to at Coastal View during the week were wonderful about everything.

Labor Day Getaway

We stayed at this property over labor day weekend and had an absolutely great time. The house was fully stocked with all the pots, pans, dishes and towels we needed. We can't wait to come stay again!

Perfect Location

This property and property management was awesome! We loved the area of Fort Morgan! The property was far enough out that there was no crowd but close enough to drive in if we wanted to do something. The communication with the property management could not have been better! If you are looking for a great place to stay with your family, this is the place!

BEWARE BEFORE BOOKING!! This place was the complete opposite of the listing. There was black mold throughout the whole house, the baseboards/doors were filthy. The washer was nasty from build up from other guest. The bunk beds upstairs were extremely loose and unsafe… although maintenance did fix it we couldn’t use that bed the day we got there. The attic door located in the kids room where the bunk beds were was unlocked and open which was unsafe and hazardous. The shower heads sprayed water everywhere and one was literally duct tapped together which again we had to have maintenance to fix. It rained the first 3 days we were there and three windows on the main floor leaked and the front door leaked so that was highly inconvenient. The window close to the Tv wouldn’t even latch and was detached from the window sill… most of the windows were screwed shut which isn’t safe in an emergency. The window in the kids room with bunk beds would easily open and was very unsafe considering it was on the 3rd floor… although again we had to call maintenance they just put another screw in there to hold it shut. The whole place was nothing like the listing and EXTREMELY overpriced. I would never book this house ever again. The stairs are extremely steep and there’s 3 set of steps which is highly inconvenient when packing suitcases upstairs.
