Great location

House may need some renovations here and there but when you walking outside right on the beach you not really paying attention on any imperfections. Big plus is the beach on your back yard… perfect sand and clean warm water. Near by several good restaurants and things to do… pigs, Jetski, kayaking, fishing etc. overall 5stars from me

Perfect for our needs

Great view. Walkable (although busy) to several places. Close to grocery, resorts, & restaurants. Semi-private beach. Perfect for our family get-away. A few things in the house needed repair & the upstairs balcony was locked & inaccessible. But overall, it met our needs.

Peace and plenty

This house was in a great location on a beautiful beach. It was private and peaceful. We were able to enjoy near by Baha Mar pools for the kids. The house provided more than enough space for everyone. There were recommendations for a driver and a person to grocery shop for us. They were very helpful and dependable. We had a wonderful family vacation in this Cable Beach House.

For the most part the property was beautiful! Beds should be more comfortable, water pressure needs to be better for all showers. Needs updating in the kitchen, refrigerator, counters and sinks. Maybe add a jacuzzi? or a lap pool.

Hi Patricia, thanks for being our guest. Just to be clear, all our mattresses are new and our kitchen was fully remodeled 7 years ago. We've never had complains from any past guests and we're sorry they weren't up to your standard of quality. It's also worth mentioning that the City of Nassau has had water pressure issues over the past 6 months in our area but we finally were able to upgrade our system by installing a large pressured tank. Our water pressure is now high and running great.

Beautiful house and great location !

We really enjoyed our stay, the house is just like the pictures, there are a lot of groceries near by, the beach is lovely ! The only think we would have like is better pots and pans, we cook a lot and the pans aren’t really good for . We made it work but it will be nice to have non sticky pans. Overall the house is really specious, and comfortable! The host is really helpful, and replies very quickly ! We really recommend this listing!

Thanks for the great review! We chose stainless pans over non-stick as its safer (the non stick tends to get worn and scraped off over time) and it can be ingested which is toxic and dangerous. We found the stainless pains are a safer, cleaner, and better option, so we went with those! Nevertheless, we'll take your concern to heart. Thanks for your visit, you are welcome back anytime!

Better than advertised.

They property was better than advertised and I don't think the pictures do it justice. The house itself was clean and spacious and waking up every morning to those views was amazing. The beach was basically your own private beach. The large kitchen was great for our family. There are some amazing places to eat right nearby either walking distance or a 2 mjn car drive. There is a bakery right across the street that has great pastries for breakfast and Baha Mar is close by if you want to do some shopping or hit the casinos. Will definitely be back.

Our family of 6 adults and 2 children stayed here in July 2025. We absolutely loved this house! It was very clean and very spacious with stunning views! It was on the beach and very close to the water so going in and out was so easy. The whole house was designed beautifully for many guests. There were several nice areas for gathering so we never felt cramped. The kitchen is fully equipped and large. I personally loved the original art work in every room. The house was so bright. The AC’s in each room made it very comfortable. Charlie, the owner was very easy to communicate with and was quick to address any questions we had. We loved having a non-crowded beach away from the cruise-liners’ chaos in downtown Nassau. The house was near everything we wanted to do like groceries, shopping, gas etc. We felt safe with the gate and alarm system. Overall, it is an idyllic spot in the Bahamas. One big hit was the telescope in the sunroom. Another was being able to snorkel and see so many sea creatures right out on our own beach front. Thank you, Charlie, for an incredible beach house opportunity!

Our family enjoyed our stay. The house is pretty with a good living area upstairs. Walking to a few excellent restaurants was great!! Location is great. I think for the price though we were disappointed with the comfort of the beds and really really low water pressure in a couple of the showers. One trickles water and the other is like a soft rain/drizzle. I think mostly you’re paying for the location and private beach which was nice. The host and and property manager are great and helpful. Again what you pay per night; we expected beds and showers to be better. We had a good time though.

HI Sara, we enjoyed hosting you! This is the first report we've heard that the beds are not comfortable, thank you for bringing it to our attention. I'm actually heading to the house next week and will replace any mattresses that are warn out. Also, after have several plumbers look at the water pressure issue which has been haunting us for some time, we decided to add a pump which should increase pressure in our system. This work will be happening next week! Thank you for being a great guest and well look forward to hosting you again in the future!

Gorgeous stay

Charles was a fantastic host, quick to respond and very helpful. The home truly is stunning, better than the photos could ever show. The big windows showcasing the ocean is just absolutely gorgeous. I could sit in those green comfy chairs forever. Depending on the tide the beach can be kind of small, but there is a big empty beach to the side of the house ! The kitchen is well equipped with pots pans and utensils. The home and linens were clean. Everything was absolutely perfect. The last day we did not have any water. It wasn’t a huge issue because we were leaving, but since wow left I am unsure of how soon it was able to be fixed. If we get the chance to come to the Bahamas we would absolutely love to stay here again.

Amaaaaazing!!!

We absolutely loved this house and beach!!! Absolutely stunning! During our stay I had a few questions and the property manager really went out of her way to be so kind and helpful (thank you!) The house is huge and the beach was empty! All of the AC units worked great, water pressure was great, 2 living rooms worked well for us. The only suggestion I have is to purchase beach umbrellas (there were none) and more beach chairs (there were 2), which would have been nice to have. Also the photos showed lots of pillows on the back deck which we did not see, but we did not mind because we spent most of our outdoor time right on the sand and in the water. We took a charter boat ride and they picked us up right at the water which was nice, same with a jet ski rental! We enjoyed having the Baha Mar (only a 4 minute drive/20 minute walk), Starbucks, a grocery store, and a gym all a quick drive away. Our kids and we agreed this was one of the most special vacations we ever had- thank you!!!

Great family vacation

My far-flung family members wanted a place where we could converge but still by direct flights, so Nassau was perfect. This home is in an excellent location along the north shore, near enough that we could walk to a well-known resort (high tide made this an exciting adventure esp with children!), walk for groceries, ice cream, baked goods and coffee. We found we did not need rental cars for our large group, but used the recommended driver to go out to dinner and Atlantis (40 to 80 per trip). The beautiful beach outside may be all you need other than the occasional foray, and the house is perfect for cooking meals. The home itself is really lovely, with an open feeling, lots of places to go if you just want to read quietly, or if one or more of your party need to get some work done, an upper terrace perfect for coffee in the morning or wine at sunset, and a downstairs living and dining room with open kitchen perfect for hanging out together. We played a number of card games in the living room. There are lots of books in the home to choose from. The home is well-maintained and while we were therefore a very pleasant young man came to wash the lower terrace outside and clean the windows. The umbrella in the picnic table outside was broken when we were there, so sitting outside required sunscreen or good timing. Lots of beach towels and a couple of beach chairs to choose from but you might want to buy a beach umbrella. Overall, it what just what my 3-gen family needed!!

Beautiful beach house stay- access to water issues

We recently stayed at Cable beach house with two families of four. The house was very comfortable to house eight guests and the house was well stocked. The beach views were stunning and the direct access to a semi-private beach was wonderful. We had four small children with us, so it provided a lot of convenience to have a calm beach right in the backyard. Unfortunately, however, we experienced serious access to water issues during our week-long stay. We were not made aware of the city water pressure issue until after our arrival, so we were unable to make alternative stay arrangements. The water issues ranged from not being able to do laundry the first few days, conserving our water usage because the tank was too low, to half a day with total water shut off. To their credit, both the property manager and property owner were responsive when contacted and they sent local maintenance to provide temporary fixes for the water issues. If/when the water issues are fully resolved, I would recommend staying at Cable beach house, but not before then.

Hi Jaclyn, thanks for your throughout review, and we appreciate you giving us credit for the work we did to ensure you were fully comfortable. The City of Nassau has had water pressure outages in our area over the first half of this year at different times and it's been hard a challenge. A note to any potential guests now reading this, we installed new infrastructure including a large water holding tank, filter and pump to increase water pressure. We have since had no more issues and the water has been flowing steadily since doing this work. You can rest assured that if you stay with us the water will be flowing perfectly.

Excellent House for multiple families!

Stayed with a family of 8, two kids. Dena, the concierge recommended by the property manager, was very nice and super helpful! Having groceries at the house when we arrived was so convenient! Bedrooms were comfortable with good AC and space. Kitchen was stocked well. Need a TON of water. We didn’t realize the 5 gallon jug attached to the fridge worked until the end of the trip as it was empty when we got there. Few restaurants within walking distance as well as Baha Mar water park. Kraven is a DoorDash service that delivers. Meze Grill had great food! Favorite part of the week was sitting on the back porch and just enjoying the amazing view with the family! Saw a few stingrays swim by but not many fish. Snorkeling for shells was a lot of fun too! Amazing sand and water. Couldn’t get the house alarm to work, but felt comfortable leaving just the door locked. Grocery store and liquor store was not far away, but recommend going with bags and backpacks and in the am or evening. It is a hot walk back with groceries. Lamont, the recommended driver was nice, used him a few times other than airport shuttle, but pice was steep for close trips, so we walked a lot. 10 per person each way, regardless of distance. Atlantis was a fun excursion, we ate at Anthony’s there and had good food (pizza & nachos). Baha Bay was an excellent excursion, walked to and from and was very nice, clean, and safe with a ton of friendly lifeguards. Parasailing was amazing, they picked us up at our beach!

Cable Beach House

My family of ten just returned from our stay at the cable beach house. We had a wonderful stay. The house is beautiful on the inside and spacious enough so everyone can have their own space. But the plus is being able to gather in the large living area and the gorgeous patio area. The teenagers and adults alike loved to step out the back door and walk down a few stairs to the ocean. The host Charles and local contact Stephanie answered any questions quickly and helped with recommendations. We loved the location. It was nice to be a bit away from the downtown hustle. In the location we were able to walk to many things. It was a short walk to Baha Mar. a favorite was the daiquiri shack in front of the water park entrance. There were many options for eating in walking distance. There was a pastry shop and Chinese restaurant across the street that were yummy. We tried several other restaurants within a short walk. There was also a grocery story within a 10-15 minute walk. We used recommendations of DaPig, Live to fish, where to rent paddle boards and it was easy to set up the driver Lamont to comfortably get us around. We ventured out to do deep sea fishing, shop around downtown, an ATV tour, Atlantis and more. Our trip to the Bahamas was just wonderful and we appreciated the kindness of everyone we met. The cherry on top was being able to come back to the cable beach house and enjoy the family time we shared. Thank you for a fantastic vacation and the hospitality!

Our time at the Cable Beach House was beyond wonderful. The pictures are true. The house is set up for everything you would need. If you forget something at home-don't worry it is there at the house. It truly is your home away from home - but with beautiful blue waters and white sand just steps away. The location is well situated so that you really don't need a car if you don't want to rent one. The grocery store is a 20 minute walk away, the luxurious Baha Mar hotel is a leisurely 20 minute walk and there are several restaurants within a short walking distance. The house is set back off a main road, and you do not hear the cars during the day or night. The house is located on one of the best beaches on the island and it is a little quieter with wonderful water. We spent and enjoyed all that the house had to offer and there were days that we simply sat out in the back under the umbrellas reading or watching the water and the boats go by. If you want to explore the island, Charles has put together a great transportation team who can get you around safely and with great local information too. If you want to experience local cuisine at 'home' in the beach house, Charles has a team for that too. Our multi-generational family vacation was wonderful. Charles was a very responsive host and quick to address questions. We know we had to leave, but we all agreed that we will be back. As the youngest and the oldest people on the trip both said, "the most relaxed trip ever!"

We had a great stay at this beachfront villa in New Providence. The location is unreal. You are right on the water and the views are amazing all day. The patio and outdoor area were probably our favorite spots to hang out, whether it was in the morning with coffee or just relaxing by the water.The house itself was bright, modern, and had plenty of space for our group. Everything was clean and comfortable and it worked really well for a larger group trip.One of the coolest parts of the stay was the upstairs balcony. A few of us actually ended up sleeping out there one night because the breeze and sound of the ocean were so good. Waking up to that view was pretty hard to beat.Overall we had a really fun trip and would definitely stay here again. Great spot if you want a laid back beachfront place in Nassau.

Hello, my name is Charles and I've been coming to the Bahamas my whole life. For almost two generations our family has been here. I've been to over a dozen islands in the Bahamas (still many to visit, as there are 700 in total) and I can tell you, this country has so much spectacular beauty its almost unimaginable. We settled on this property after considering several other places in Nassau and on other islands too. We currently live between this property and a home in South Florida, and we come back often, on off- season mostly. We love renting it when we're not using it, it's exciting for us to get to share our favorite place in the world and all its beauty with others.

We recently bought this property because, simply put, we think it's the best The Bahamas has to offer. We love the property, the design, and being in such close proximity to so many awesome amenities. We know that beautiful tropical seclusion and pristine beaches are very much part of a perfect vacation in the Bahamas, yet so is being able to party, go to great restaurants, world class casinos and have wild night out with your friends and family. Both can be found here at the Cable Beach House.

We love our property's elegant modern design, the abundant amount of natural light from all of our windows, the 35 foot ceilings in the living room, the pleasant open kitchen and living spaces, all of which adds to the pleasure of staying here, whether you're with a few friends or with a large group. We've also decorated the home with some really fun and colorful artwork which we think you are going to love. We really value being on this breathtaking portion of Cable Beach beach and hearing the crashing waves every night when falling asleep.

Our home is incredibly walkable and we love strolling to dinner in the evening, whether at the Baha Mar Resort (known as the most glamours resort and casino in the Caribbean with loads of great food options and restaurants) only 20 minutes by foot, the Sandals Royal Caribbean or to the other resorts, restaurants, bars and shops along the bustling Cable Beach area. We are also about a 5 minute walk from a world class water park at Baha Mar, called Bahama Bay. Whether you're on a bachelor or bachelorette party, or with your family, its great fun for all ages.
