Great place for a small group!

This was the perfect place for our group. It was super clean and comfy! The only thing that would have made the stay a 10/10 would be more mirrors up in there. 4 women getting ready in one bathroom was pure chaos.

Just what we were looking for

Six of us were looking to explore Chicago for a couple of days and this apartment worked perfectly for us. Plenty of available street parking for the nights and not far from downtown. Clean and comfortable and it was also very easy to check in and out. Will request again if we come to the city again!

Chicago for the first time

The rental property is close Downtown Chicago. Parking is hard but we've always been lucky. There's available parking spots though on nearby streets. Louis, the owner was nice. Our needs are simple and for the most part, they were met during our stay.

The place was very nice and clean. The host doesn’t want people touching the thermostat, which would be fine if the fans actually cooled us down. There is also quiet hours, but it seems the neighbors don’t care about that. Consistently heard yelling or stomping around from the upstairs neighbor at all hours. Other than those 2 things, the place was very nice and I would stay in again for the price.

The thermostat in the unit is not locked and we do encourage guests to control the temperature to their comforts. If we didn’t want guests touching it, we would lock it but we didn’t lock it. If she would have reached out to us about the noise from the other guests in the other unit we would have reached out to them to stop the noise but she didn’t. This is an unfair review. She saying “at all hours” just goes to show how unfair the review is.

Nice place, but beds need upgrade.

The place was very clean and neighborhood was nice. Also, close to downtown. The host was very comminutive and helpful. A couple of items that could improve were the beds, which were uncomfortable. Also, need additional wash cloths, towels, and the extra bedding for the foldout couch. But, overall worked for us.

Thank you for the review. We did provide the essentials needed for you and the number of guests on your reservation. There was a sofa cover/blanket for the sleeper sofa. In the future, do communicate your needs to the host during your stay so it can be addressed. I’m glad everything worked out for you and your guests. Not great

We couldn’t get into the house as the code wasn’t working. He just kept telling me to read the directions (I can read) but there was an issue with the door and he had to send someone out. We had a show to go to so I had to change in the car and couldn’t get into the house before we left. When we returned around 10, we could get into the house but it was 80 degrees inside. That’s great after walking around Chicago when it’s 90. None of the doors closed inside either. The neighbor was awesome and the place was very clean and pretty spacious.

We do apologize for the inconvenience. All issues have been fixed. The A/C was inspected and is working well now and fans has been installed in all rooms. All doors were checked and is closing. The cleaners mistakenly locked the deadbolt from inside that's why the door couldn't open, the code works fine. Again, we sincerely apologize for every inconvenience this may have caused you and your guests.

Attractive, Clean Home

This was a great place for a quick weekend getaway. Plenty of space for the three of us, clean, and nicely decorated. Check-in was easy, entry keypads all worked (not a given at every place), and host was very responsive.
