Bring your own boat, or book a charter from Danny B’s Fishing Charters -- located 280 feet away -- to experience some of the finest fishing on the Texas coast. The beach is also a 7-minute walk from your condo. Spend sunny days along the Gulf of Mexico building sandcastles, lounging on the shore, or swimming in the surf. The Marlin Arms is also conveniently located within walking distance of some of South Padre’s most iconic eateries and attractions, including Louie’s Backyard and Gravity Park. Take a dip in the shared pool open year-round, which boasts its own panoramic views of the Laguna Madre Bay. This complex also offers its own private fishing dock and boat slip.

The bright and airy living room is furnished with a sofa and a sleeper sofa. Watch your favorite shows on the 44” cable TV. Granite countertops glisten in the kitchen, equipped with a full suite of appliances. As dinner simmers on the stovetop, sip on a crisp drink at the kitchen bar with seating. When you’re ready to eat, gather around the dining table together.

Bayside Condo

Loved the location and the layout of the condo. Having king size beds and 3 full baths is a bonus! Would have loved to enjoy the sunset by the pool if there were tables and chairs out by pier. Additional Bbq pits for guests to use would also be nice.

It’s a cute condo with enough sleeping space. It is a little outdated, but it looks like most places in the area look the same. The condo had a couple of fans which was a plus because we tend to be a little hot nature. We only wish there were blankets available for the pullout sofa. Overall, it was a great experience.

At first glance of the building we were not too sure about our booking. The elevator is broken, making it difficult to haul all of your belongings to the very top floor in the heat. Based off previous reviews from other customers, I was hoping that the carpet and couch cleanness was resolved, but it wasn’t. The curtains had stains all over them (blackout curtains would be a plus) and so did the bed spread. The highlights were the fishing pier and the pool with a beautiful view of the bay!

Upon arrival at 4p checkin, my brother and i arrived in two separate vehicles. He parked at assinged parking #9 and i parked across the street. The condo was still being cleaned at 4p, my brother went downstairs to grabbed luggage, as he returned i went to my truck to grab luggage just to notice my truck was towed away. It cost me 277 to get my truck out of impound. The condo was clean and ready to move in by 435p.

Great location and space

We chose this because of it's proximity to the bay and the surrounding restaurants and venues. It did not disappoint. The only issue we had was with the gate, however we figured out how to finally open it! It was a great stay and we will be looking forward to staying here again.

Vacasa has 4pm check in and 10qm check out .. unacceptable..industry is getting worse each year and we pay more to get less each year.. no early check in option although the unit was not rented.. no electricity in restroom.. carpet in bedrooms are old and dirty although the unit layout is great .. dated and not kept up .. would expect more from a corporate entity like Vacasa considering the way they continue to gouge their customers

Great Location

Love almost everything about this place. Great pool,pier, and close to walk to almost everything!!!! BUT the BEDS!!! They are like BRICKS!!! I think sleeping on the floor might have been better! After the furst night my back was hurting. By the time I left could not move or walk. The whole group was having back problems.

The good part would be the size of the rooms and general appearance. The biggest con is the size of the parking. We have a large SUV. If you had even a small car next to you, it was almost impossible to exit the car. Note, there’s only one parking spot for this unit. Although there are guest spots at the complex, we were strictly informed that we could not use these spots. We ended up having to spend an extra 20 a day to pay for overnight parking somewhere else on the island. Next, Bedding was not provided for the sleeper sofa, causing two of our guests to use towels to cover the mattress. Luckily we travel with our own blankets. The sleeper sofa is so uncomfortable, we had to use the throw pillows and couch cushions under the mattress to TRY to make it sleepable. There are no ice trays or ice maker. It was great to have three bathrooms. However, they were very tiny. Largest frustration was the fact that we could not speak to anybody who was managing the property locally. We were could only reach somebody in California. The local management company did not contact us at all. We were forced to go without the bedding for the sofa bed, despite waiting two hours for a response. I called, texted, emailed. Finally after waiting to be contacted by the “local” manager and my contacting the management company in California again, at 9 PM I was told nobody was going to respond to our request. I requested a partial refund for one night, as two of our guests did not have a bed. Nope!

Good Value But Beware

Elevator to 3d floor did not work, so it's a walk up. Pool is nasty with mold and mildew and stagnant water. Fridge in the condo smelled of fish so we couldn't use the fridge or freezer and had to go get coolers to keep our stuff cold. Unit was not maintained as towel rods were missing and on the floor, vacuuming was incomplete and cigars were left on the balcony. Not a nice experience.

Bay Condo

This is a great condo. Perfect for 4. Bedrooms are roomy with private baths. It is on the 3rd floor, so if you don't mind stairs. There is an elevator and it works when someone hasn't flipped the held switch on the 2nd floor. The reason I can't give this condo a 5 star rating is the management company. Although responsive to all of our communications quickly, there were some issues that were not dealt with. When we arrived, there was a bedroom light that we were unable to turn on and the thermostat was blinking that it needed a new battery, and an outlet in the kitchen didn't work. We informed the management company, they came out and were told a maintenance person would come to fix but never did. We had batteries with us, so we changed them. The gate lock jammed one day and we couldn't get in, we texted and were asked if we were putting in the right number, we were, still jammed, said they would send someone and let us know, we went to Louie's to wait, don't know who fixed it. We loved the area so we extended our stay. On our original day of departure, we went to the beach, upon our return to the condo, we were unable to enter, the door lock code had changed. We weren't notified of this change. When we reached out to the management company, they gave us a new code, didn't work. Several attempts at new codes didn't work, we were very frustrated, and wet from the beach and decided to wait out our time at Louie's until they could get us in the condo. After over an hour, we were told we could get in with a new code. We went back to the condo and no. They informed us that they would have the local home care team contact us. Now we had 2 people texting us numbers to try. None worked. At this point we were frustrated and wanted to talk to someone. We tried to call but our anticipated wait time was long. So we texted and said that we wanted to speak to a person. When they called us the individual said he would be over with a key. He showed up 15 minutes later. When we explained the situation and all that had transpired, we were given excuses as to why it was not his fault. To be fair in my review, this condo really is great, but there are some issues. 1 burner on the stove doesn't work, 2 outlets in the kitchen don't work, in the west bedroom you can only turn on one lamp and there is no where to plug in charges in this bedroom. The showers in the private baths are small. If the outlet in living room doesn't work, turn the light switch on, it will then.

First time Winter Texan

My wife and I really enjoyed our month long stay in this property. The property is nice and big with two bedrooms and three bathrooms. We have been wintering in Florida and last year in Hawaii, but this year decided to try South Padre Island. We were not disappointed. We had a minor glitch at the beginning as we were checking in on a Sunday. There was supposed to be a packet with our parking passes and the key to the front door of the complex in a lock box by the office. When we got there there was no packet, however, after a couple of phone calls, a gentleman showed up within 15 minutes and gave us a key and our parking passes. The only other minor problem was the sliding glass door in the common area was broken on the track. It was very difficult to open and shut down. These little problems were offset by the great location by wonderful restaurants and bars. We spent almost every night down on the dock which is just a outside the back door overlooking to be and the beautiful sunsets. We have already signed up again for next year.

Water not working construction noise

Water was not working for hours without a notice...then jackhammers noise from 7am till 5pm also no notice of construction...was not the vacation I was looking for we left early due to no water...I usually book with vacasa but this trip was ruined so I rate this trip 1 star

This condo was immaculate, nicely decorated and spacious. The three balconies and three full baths were great. Very convenient, within walking distance of anything you might need. It did seem like there was a ton of construction going on all around the condo and it was loud. Every time the elevator was used, you could hear it run and clearly hear the door open and close. Otherwise a great condo. Minus the noise issues, it would definitely be a 5 star stay.
