"Entspannen Sie sich am Michigansee" in unserem 2016 aktualisierten Haus am Michigansee, das einen privaten, flachen Sandstrand sowie Folgendes bietet:
- 2500 sf 2-stöckiges Haus mit 1,5 Küchen, 2 Familienzimmern, 4 Schlafzimmern und 2 Bädern. Beinhaltet eine freistehende rustikale Campinghütte mit einem Kingsize-Bett und einem 3. Badezimmer.
- Das Anwesen ist von Bäumen umgeben und doch so nahe am Strand, dass Sie vom Rauschen der Wellen in den Schlaf wiegen.
ZWEITES LEVEL
- Genießen Sie das Zusammensein in dem geräumigen, neuen, großen Raum mit Sitzecke und 2 Ledersofas mit Blick auf einen 55-Zoll-Flachbildfernseher, einen Essbereich und eine Küche mit Blick auf den See. Die Küche im großen Raum verfügt über 2 Granitinseln mit Hockern und neuen SS-Geräten. Der Esstisch für 8 Personen grenzt an Schieberegler an Deck.
- 1 Schlafzimmer mit Kingsize-Bett befindet sich auf der 2. Ebene neben dem Vollbad mit Dusche / Badewanne.
- Der Wintergarten mit Panoramablick auf den See liegt direkt neben dem großen Raum und verfügt über ein Queen-Pullout.
ERSTE STUFE - 5 Betten
- Dieser Boden wirkt moderner, weil er 2005 neu gebaut wurde. Es verfügt über 3 Schlafzimmer, ein Vollbad mit Wäschemöglichkeiten, eine Miniküche mit Spüle, Kühlschrank und Mikrowelle sowie ein Familienzimmer mit Seeblick und einem 2. 55-Zoll-Fernseher. Es gibt auch eine Nische mit 2 Einzelbetten.
HINWEIS: Der Zugang von innen zwischen den beiden Etagen erfolgt über eine KREISTREPPE. Traditionelle Treppe befindet sich außerhalb.
Sehr rustikale Kabine: 5. Schlafzimmer / 3. Bad: Original 1940 Pine Cottage befindet sich neben dem Haupthaus ist ein Schritt von draußen schlafen. Es besteht aus einem Schlafzimmer mit einem Kingsize-Bett, einem separaten Bad (Duschkabine) und ist ideal für Familienmitglieder, die mehr Privatsphäre OHNE RÜCKSTÄNDE wünschen. (Kann muffig riechen)

Einfaches Kabelfernsehen für zwei 55 "-Flachbildfernseher, einer auf jeder Ebene. Holzkohlegrill.

Dies ist ein "Gewächshaus". Recycling gefördert.

Great place for a family vacation.

We enjoyed our family get away for a long holiday weekend. The layout of the house worked great with separate bedrooms for all and a great room for hanging out when not at the beach.

Lovely beach vacation!

Our family (4 kids and 6 adults) had a wonderful week on the beach! The house is very nice and was roomy enough for three families, and the beach was beautiful with lots of sand for the kids and shallow warm water to swim in. We hope to come back next year!

Amazing view...sooo comfortable!

This house is so very comfortable with an unbelievable view of Lake Michigan. The location is perfect because you feel like you are out away from traffic, etc but you are only minutes away from stores, restaurants. Restful...very nice!

Coastal Michigan Charm and Calm…

This home has a wonderful charm and amazing views of Lake Michigan. Well-stocked and appointed home (one of the better rentals I have stayed in) where you can enjoy the calming waters of the Lake while engaging in fun (plenty of seating, games and books) with family and friends. Owner/manager was extremely responsive and communicative before and during our stay. Highly recommend if you want all the joys of coastal lake living.

Just what the doctor ordered

Location was awesome, was able to watch the sunset most nights. Everything was as advertised, most everything you needed for your stay. House to the north was a little close, the family had many loud arguments but that was probably a one off situation. Hi Ouse was close to shopping and Manistee. Had a great time

The Whole Family Fit!

We loved our stay here. The very generous house easily accommodated two seniors, four adults and two teens. There was plenty of space for everyone, and we loved being able to gather and cook together in the large, open format of the the main living space. The kitchen was well equipped and every part of the house felt comfortable. The view of the lake was spectacular and we enjoyed some snowy walks along the beach. We'd love to come back again in the future.

Bday-vacay-yay!

The hiuse was beautiful...very spacious..and had everything you could even imagine needing. Great spaces to gather as a group and also spsces to slip away and have some quiet time. The property was just the right size to enjoy cooking out...ghost stories by a fire...friendly game of corn hole...and of course the beach. Beach was clean...with lots a shoreline to walk. Enjoyed sunrises...sunsets..and a thunderstorm. The waves crashing against the shore was heavenly to fall asleep to. Great stay loved every minute of it!

Amazing Lake House - Amazing SunSets

We are so fortunate to have found and enjoyed this lake front property. It has everything and more than we needed to elevate our experience. In fact we knew the moment we walked in we wanted to extend our stay so we did. The structure obviously has some age but what a gem and the owners have ensured all the creature comforts are high end and plenty. We loved the great room with high ceilings, the two islands in the kitchen / bar and all the great gathering spaces outdoors for catching those amazing sunsets. Great space for large group.

Winter Getaway

This was our second time staying here over the Christmas holiday. The house very easily fit four adults, two seniors, and two teens. The spacious kitchen was great for cooking large meals, and the dining area fit us all comfortably. There is plenty of space in the house for everyone. We look forward to going back. The host was attentive, a great communicator and very helpful. We especially appreciated the extra attention she gave us during the huge snow storm that blew through. We are looking forward to going back!

We had a large group with multiple families. Lisa was very helpful with any questions we had before and during our stay. The house was more impressive than the pictures. The location was excellent. Access to the private beach was just a few steps from the back yard. The water was clear and the beach was clean. We had no issues with neighbors or other people on the beach. The cabin is a little rustic but that is what the listing clearly states. The property is about 10 minutes away from anything you need including the town strip, grocery store and casino. Our family rated this property A+ and we would definitely consider rebooking.

2022 Memorial Day weekend

Had no idea there was a house directly next door. Probably wouldn’t have rented if I would’ve known. Grass was very long. Water is extremely hard which plugged the shower fixtures which resulted in very low water pressure. Trash was left in closet down stairs. Paid 200 extra for linen fee, only revived one towel per guest and one of the beds didn’t have a fitted sheet. Lovely beach and plenty of room inside the house. 3/5 stars.

Zach, Thank you for the review, although disappointing. Obviously I need to have a conversation with the cleaning crew and lawn maintenance company regarding the issues. I wish you would have reached out to me during your stay so I could have had the issues resolved to your satisfaction immediately. I always provide my phone number for any issues/emergencies. Yes, there are houses all along the beach, but the trees seem to provide enough privacy for most people as I have never had that complaint. Also, there are woods behind the cabin so you have total privacy on that side, unlike most of the houses along that stretch of beach. I will refund your linen and towel fee and apologize for their oversight.

Charged unfairly

This property has many restrictions and an odd set up. Although pets are allowed there is a fee and deposit which is fair and understandable. However, what was unfair was to charge a cleaning fee and state our dogs have fleas. Our 4 dogs have never had fleas, not now, and not at this rental. They are on flea and tick year round and just had their monthly preventative medication. This house is also hard to get into, (need to carry supplies up to upper level) old (with a mildew smell) and and has a dampness to it with frigid cold lower floor. We were disappointed.

Very sorry you were so disappointed. You are the first renter to give the house a poor review. The cleaners reported they saw fleas as well as an excessive amount of sand on the floors, and pet hair on the furniture. They said they have never had the house left in such poor condition, hence the extra charge (security deposit withheld). The only other time I have had to withhold a portion of a deposit was due to a broken lamp shade. The photos on VRBO show the layout of the house quite clearly, so I apologize if you didn't understand prior to check in. And I have never been told the house has a mildew smell nor dampness. I have a large dehumidifier on the lower level (automatically drains into sump area) and you were more than welcome to change the thermostat for your personal comfort. Again, I'm sorry you were disappointed.

Fall Vacation

This place was even better than we expected. The view of the lake from the house was amazing. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook during our stay. We liked that the house was so close to Manistee Incase we needed anything from Mejier. We would highly recommend this spot.

Perfect Family Getaway

Comfortable home with lovely grounds and small, private beach; not too far to town, grocery stores, and restaurants. We enjoyed sunning and swimming in the lake; nice shallow sandbar just beyond a short rocky bit. We also loved the sunsets!

Great house with lots of room with incredible view of Lake Michigan.

Very comfortable with lots of room upstairs and downstairs. Enjoyed the camp fires and swimming in the lake. We had a great time.

Fun winter escape

The property is very nice and pretty much as described on the website. Eileen is very responsive and wanting to make sure her renters are satisfied. Its not clear from the website but the little cottage bedroom isn't available in the winter which would've been nice for our big group. We would consider renting here again.

Lovely place

We enjoyed the vacation house so much! The beach is amazing and sandy. There are rocks in the water so bring water shoes!the kids loved the frog creek/pond and sunsets were amazing!

And yes, this year there are rocks on the beach but hopefully when water levels go down (sooner than later I hope) the beach will go back to being all sand as in years past...although rock hunting can be fun!

We love Lake Michigan! We love the sounds, the smells, the views and most especially the calm, peaceful feeling of being up North! Everyone is so friendly and there is so much to do. A nice location for golf...Arcadia Bluffs, Manistee National and Manistee Country Club (not private) are just minutes away...and the Arcadia Scenic Overlook is a must see! We are also just minutes to many kayaking and fishing areas, as well as skiing (Caberfae and Crystal Mountain) and snowmobiling trails.

This home is very cozy and welcoming and just steps away, the separate knotty pine cabin with recently renovated flooring and bathroom, lends a feeling of shades of vacations from long ago. It truly is the best place to relax on Lake Michigan, and you will soon discover why "Sunset Shores" was chosen for our name.

The lawn area between the house and the beach is also enjoyed for games, fires and an afternoon nap, and the small frog pond is a great attraction for the little ones. Also in the backyard and within view of the picture windows overlooking the lake is a bird feeder, so if you are a birder, bring some seed and binoculars!
