Surrounded by acres of oak trees, this Log Cottage is a hidden gem that you don't want to miss out on! The interior is beautifully decorated to help any group relax and enjoy their time together. The first floor has original, custom brick floors that lead you from a cozy sitting area with amazing views to a pool table, skee ball table and all your bedrooms downstairs. The master bedroom has a king size bed and its own elegant, private bathroom. The other two bedrooms are also designed for comfort, one with a king bed and the other with a queen bed. The second bathroom and a laundry room are also on the first floor.

As you make your way up the custom floating wood steps to the second floor, you’ll enjoy the incredible views out of the two-story wall of windows! But the views only add to the relaxed environment available from the second floor. With an open, fully stocked kitchen boasting all new appliances and plenty of cabinet and countertop space it's a dream for any kind of entertaining your group desires. The living room is focused on the custom electric fireplace with comfortable seating for everyone. You can also enjoy the bonus room with multiple arcade video games, board games, its own TV and a day bed with trundle bed below for additional sleeping options. And the second floor has large, west facing windows that give you full views of beautiful sunsets through the oak trees!

But don’t forget to travel outside and enjoy all the attractions available in your own yard! With a large deck you can sit back and relax or join your group in the hot tub, barrel sauna or in a game of bocci ball or horseshoes. There’s also a BBQ for those with an appetite for outdoor cooking.

And although the house feels like you’re secluded in nature, you’re only 20 minutes from the conveniences of town. With restaurants, grocery stores and entertainment nearby in Placerville and other surrounding towns.

THINGS TO DO NEARBY:
Historic Coloma (Marshall Gold Discovery State Historic Park) is only 10 minutes away! Enjoy a day exploring the historic gold discovery town or rafting down the American River.

Or find your way 25 minutes up the road to Apple Hill to enjoy the shopping and delicious foods at the local farms and orchards.

If you enjoy being in nature you should try Cronan Ranch Regional Trails Park - only 18 minutes away! The Park contains 12 miles of trails for hiking, biking, horseback riding, fishing, bird watching, and other passive recreation.

And you're only 15 minutes away from Red Hawk Casino and 25 minutes from Folsom Lake or 1.5 hours to South Lake Tahoe!

You can also venture out to the many nearby wineries or up to Placerville to explore and dine.

But whatever you decide to do, you can come home to relax in luxury!

We came for a race. The race was cancelled and we decided to enjoy the family time. The storm came through and we hunkered down and relaxed together. There were fun arcade games to enjoy as well as a hot tub to soak in

Hosts dream

We needed a home that slept 6 but had enough entertaining room to host my family from out of town as well as for my son and his groomsmen to get ready for the wedding. This was perfect! My grandchildren (and groomsmen) were thrilled with the games, the family was able to congregate in the upstairs area and we kept all 10 groomsmen downstairs and outside, away from the Littles. We fixed daily breakfasts and a lovely stew in the well stocked kitchen. The electric fireplace was perfect on a cool Sunday morning. Everyone loved the setting and the easy flow layout of the home! (be prepared if you have a lot of groceries, the kitchen is upstairs)

Family Fun

Great open floor plan with plenty of private space. Bedrooms were comfortable and accommodating. Great location for rafting,fishing and river fun! Our family would definitely go back!

Relaxing 4th of July vacation

We had a great time at Sergey and Clara's cabin. The owners are incredibly responsive and when the AC went out on the first morning of our stay (July 4th), Sergey tried to get an HVAC repairman out that day to fix it but couldn't get anyone to come out on a holiday, so he immediately brought us a bunch of fans and offered us a huge portable AC unit until he could get an HVAC serviceman out to fix it the next day. The very next day it was up and running and all was well. There is plenty to do for the whole family and is only a quick 18 minute drive to downtown Placerville which is really cute and has tons of good places to eat and shop. I highly recommend this vacation home.
