A Place at the Beach Oceanfront on the Garden City Peninsula

This is a well maintained, first floor, two bedroom, two bath ocean side view condo in a low-rise oceanfront building, with a spacious pool area and beautifully landscaped grounds. It is a half hour drive south of the Myrtle Beach Airport and south of Garden City pier. You can enjoy breathtaking sunrises over the Atlantic and sunsets over the inlet waterway. The condo has a horizon view of the ocean, and a view of the Murrells Inlet waterway from the balcony. One of the finest restaurants on the Grand Strand, Gulfstream Cafe is within walking distance. Indigo Creek Golf Clubs and other golf courses are within 12 miles of the condo. Wild Water and Wheels Park and several Putt Putt courses are also a short drive away. Enjoy the best seafood on the strand at the many restaurants (Bovine's, Drunken Jack's) of Murrells Inlet just minutes away. Broadway at the Beach, Market Commons, Hudson Flea Market are all nearby. This area of beach is very wide with multiple sand dunes. This area is only zoned for beach homes and low-rise condo complexes which gives it more of an island feel and makes for an un-crowded, quiet beach any time of year. The complex sits on an extra large lot with an oversized pool, courtyard, and grilling area that makes it very accommodating for families and pets. The view from our balcony does not face any other complex or parking areas to give you ultimate in privacy and unobstructed views. This is very uncommon on the Grand Strand. Condo is very well maintained . Living Room has a 40' flat screen TV and DVD player, master bedroom is equipped with a new 32' LCD TV. . The beach is the widest and most beautiful on the southern strand. Two fantastic restaurants a skip across the street. View of the marina and garden court yard. Simon the balcony and hear the ocean and feel the nice breeze. Unit poolside and only a minute stroll down the direct access to the beach. Although I had my car loaded with all the essentials, the owner had chairs, umbrella if needed for a leisurely day at the beach. The building itself was super clean and permanent residents met were super nice. Check-in to the property could not have been easier. A true vacation. Also, for those not familiar with location, grocery store only 2.3 miles from unit. I was fortunate enough to get permission to take my small fur baby. He enjoyed watching and chasing birds.

if was good. We had no problems really. About the only negatives was a leaky bathroom faucet and floppy mattress pad in the master bedroom.

Enjoyed staying in this unit. There were plenty of amenities available and the location was easy to access the grassy area to walk the dog and a short walk to the beach.

The unit was located on the front beach and we loved having the option of a pool. The whole building was quiet and the courtyard for our dog was a welcome surprise!

Great place to stay

We absolutely love staying in this condo, we have been using this rental for several years. The location is perfect for us, we are away from all the noise of the boardwalk yet only a few mile drive when we want to do touristy things. The only negative I have is the bedroom needs new deep pocket sheets.

Tranquil environment

For two people it was perfect. We also had our dog with us. Was quiet and relatively handy to groceries and shopping. The pool was great and so was the beach. Also handy to churches. If you like a condo, you’ll enjoy this tremendously.

Another great stay!

Even with the incredibly bad weather and limited beach time, (thanks to Hurricane Debby) we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at A Place At The Beach. The property is super clean, kitchen is well stocked and you could not ask for a better location!

Excellent Location

Beautiful, not crowded beach. Convenient access to great restaurants and plenty of activities to enjoy your stay. Or just relax at the beach & pool. The owner was very responsive to questions and we had no problems with our stay. I'd highly recommend renting this condo, I hope to come back myself!

A little gem in Murrells Inlet

Super nice location, beautiful calm area, kitchen has everything you need. Comfortable beds. I would put comfortable chairs on the balcony to make it perfect. Owner is very pleasant to deal with and quick to respond. We will be back.

Excellent place right at the beach

Location and condominium facilities were excellent. Cool and breezy on the beach at this time so we didn't swim or sunbathe much but we enjoyed long walks. The beach in this area was not crowded at all and did not have loud groups of spring break students.

Pure Bliss

This clean and well equipped condo was perfect. It is located at the end of the inlet- very quiet but also has (2) fine dining restaurants across the street. We walked to pier every day along the beach. Nightlife in Murells Inlet and antique stores abound. Can’t wait to come back! As for the only negative review that is posted here - consider it an exaggeration and null and void.

My husband and I are Ohio natives. In 2020, our daughter’s Senior mission trip was canceled due to the Covid pandemic. We knew Greg and Sherrie had a condo in Murrells Inlet, though we had never been there. I rented the condo for a week with my daughter and her two friends as a graduation gift. I fell in love with the condo and the location.

Greg and Sherrie decided to sell this condo in 2021. I wanted my husband to see this beautiful place on the Garden City peninsula and to walk the wide quiet beach to the point where the ocean meets the Inlet. My husband loved the condo and the location as well and we decided to purchase their condo.

Das macht diese Unterkunft einzigartig

It is nice after a day of enjoying all the attractions the area has to offer to go back to a beautiful, quiet beach to enjoy the night ocean breeze. It is also a big plus to be within walking distance of the Gulfstream Cafe! We are just minutes away from the Murrells Inlet Marsh Walk, with great views of the Inlet, boat rentals, and the finest restaurants and live music in the area.
