Mountain luxury log cabin perched at the top of Tollgate Canyon. Escape the busy streets and enjoy both sunrises and sunsets with 270 degree views of the Wasatch Mountain Range and the Park City Valley.

We're located at the Top of Tollgate Canyon at 8300 feet yet only 25 minutes to Park City / Deer Valley Base. Immerse yourself in the beauty of this wonderful log home, light a fire and enjoy amazing sun sets, utilize the fully equipped gourmet kitchen to entertain family and friends and most importantly create ever lasting memories. For any Season, The Top of Tollgate is a perfect retreat with an abundance of activities at your fingertips.

High speed internet and Wifi network offer great signal and speed. A second monitor and desk space is provided if work calls. Smart TV's in Both Master Bedrooms and Loft. Xbox One also in loft for games and DVD's.

We have board games, puzzles, pack and play, high chair, kids dishes/cups, and more all to help you just show up and enjoy this amazing mountain cabin. Multiple grocery stores within 20 minutes as well.

There really are no words to describe the feeling of this relaxing retreat. Majestic probably does it best. And we are happy to share this with our guests and hope anyone that stays here feels the same and creates life long amazing memories.


WINTER CONDITIONS: (Oct 15th - April 30th or when snowing)
I've had past guests underestimate winter driving so please note the following points:
1 - You must rent a vehicle with 4x4 or True AWD. I suggest Tahoe, Bronco, Subaru.
2 - The tires must be winter rated tires. Driving on snow is one thing, but driving on snow up and down grades you need winter tires.
3 - If you plan to drive during a heavy snow storm or big dumping of snow, tire chains are recommended.
4 - Roads are plowed daily, but A LOT of snow can fall in between, please plan accordingly, in certain conditions you may find the driving not comfortable until the plow comes.
5 - If you want help I have pre-selected rentals on Turo I can send you after booking.

SECURITY CAMERAS:
There are 3 cameras on the property. 1 - looks out at driveway. 2 - looks out at front deck / road. 3 - looks at garage doors (note - please keep garage doors closed, cold weather can freeze our pipes - garage door is set to auto close every hour if left open)

Guys get away

Excellent house! The drive to it is what we were looking for. Quiet and very secluded up a mountain for perfect sunsets. Very well kept inside. Definitely would stay again next time we are in the are.

Beautiful house with a lot of space and grand views.

Great place we would love to go back. Excellent amenities. Good wifi to keep the business running. Early morning big dear and wild turkeys in the garden. Very responsible host.

Exceptional Stay

Couldn't have asked for a better weekend getaway tucked high up in the tollgate community. The house was stunning, had a nice cabin feel with all the wood, while having high end finishes and accomodations. House is well stocked with cooking utensils and top of the line utlities. Views over park city and deer valley made for amazing sunsets. Will be coming back!

Perfection at the top of Tollgate!

Everything about our stay was incredible, from the moment we showed up to a family moose in the front yard. The sunsets, star gazing and peace and quiet in this cabin were magnificent! The house was well appointed throughout and the beds were all very comfortable. The owner was attentive and always quick to respond since the time we first inquired about having our family dog join us. We can't wait for next year's trip back!

Location was beautiful, cooler temperatures and beautiful views.Property needed some upkeep and cleaning.Beautiful home but cleaning service left a lot to be desired.Need some repairs, ie: bunk beds - had a step broken and step left in drawer, shower faucet broken, needed a washcloth to turn on/ off, outside chair needed arms tightened, - house was dusty, floors under tables and dining room dusty, bar was dirty.

Unbelievable View

Perched on top of the mountain you have spectacular views of the entire valley. That said, with the last 2 miles of the drive to the house up a dirt road it can get a tad difficult in inclement weather - who thought we’d get 8” of snow Oct 23/24

Thank you! Getting the best views of Park City and the Wasatch range atop of a mountain does require 4x4 and good tires whenever there is a chance of snow! Hence the WINTER DRIVING notice in our listing and in the arrival instructions. For any guests considering booking during winter months please keep that in mind!!

First Utah Trip

We were so excited to stay in this cabin for our first Utah trip and snow trip. We were not disappointed. This was such a beautiful cabin. The location is EVERYTHING. TOP of the mountain, breathtaking view and once you're out of the mountain very close to Park City. Small touches like a pack n play, highchair and even kids plates/utensils made it easier for us with little ones. Mark was great at communicating with me and responding to my every question. I can not wait to return to this property for a yearly winter trip.

Beautiful Mountain Retreat

We had a wonderful time at Mark's lovely mountain home! Tollgate Canyon is a special area where you can "get away from it all" and this house provides the perfect place to relax and enjoy the beautiful views, serenity, and nature on all sides. It was fun that it snowed while we were there too! I really enjoyed how spacious all the rooms are in the house. It was such a nice place for my family to gather for Thanksgiving. We could hang out in the main room and play games by the fire, enjoy cooking in the huge gourmet kitchen, dine at a large beautiful dining room table - also with views, or relax and watch movies in the TV room. The house is very beautiful and comfortable. Thank you Mark for sharing your wonderful home and for being such a great host! We hope to visit again sometime!

Awesome mountaintop property! Had a great time and would recommend. Only suggestion for improvement- tons of flies everywhere- living room, kitchen, bedrooms. Did our best to get rid of them. Also could use blinds on the windows.

Perfect mountain getaway

This luxury cabin was exactly what my husband and I needed for a quick little getaway from Salt Lake City. Really close, but we felt worlds away! The area (Tollgate Canyon) is stunning, with incredible views and sunsets you won’t want to miss. The cabin itself has everything you could ever need and want. Tastefully decorated, comfortable beds, big beautiful kitchen and all the creature comforts that make this place a must stay! Great communication with the owner, too. We would love to come back again soon!

Spectacular Views

This cabin was absolutely beautiful. It was at the top of tollgate Canyon and we could not have asked for a more beautiful home. Mark the owner was wonderful and helped us with anything we needed and was extremely responsive.

I am happy to share it with our guests when not using it ourselves. Tollgate is laid back, its peaceful, not busy. Tollgate is where you enjoy the outdoors and support your neighbors. You wave when you pass by people. Help me keep this alive when you are sharing our home.
