Pool Access: Just a short stroll from the home lies the stunning Seasonally Heated Highland Parks community pool, which offers a collection of covered and uncovered seating areas, an outdoor kitchen, outdoor TV, waterfalls into the pool, a hot tub and a fire pit. The community pool area also has a four-story observation tower from which you can enjoy dazzling views of the Gulf of Mexico and surrounding Blue Mountain Beach. The Good, the bad and the ugly!
The good- the house itself is stunning! We loved it, the layout & all that it was equipped with. We loved using the golf carts, kids loved the bikes & we loved exploring the area. The bad- definitely the false advertisement of easy beach access. We learned A LOT from the locals that the property management fails to divulge to customers- which is very misleading. While yes, it is a short distance to the public beach access, most all beaches are private and not accessible. The tiny sliver of public beach access is filled like a can of sardines by 8am- meaning there is no beach to enjoy. We spoke to a local who said that property owners were expected to tell renters this, yet, looking at the title of this listing it boasts something totally different. Very misleading. Upon mentioning this to the management company they just sent us a list of public access, which we already had and all were the same. Very disappointing- definitely do your research before renting! The ugly- when we got to the house it was clear that absolutely no care was put into attempting to clean the outside. None of the furniture outside, including deck furniture, outdoor floors, golf cart or bikes were usable because of the thickness of dirt and pollen. We spent the first 2 hours of our trip cleaning everything outside including the porches, all outdoor furniture, rugs, golf cart & bikes. It was definitely a frustrating start with little to no apologies or help from the management company.

Great place to stay on 30A
Quiet location with easy acres to shopping, beach, restaurants, etc. the house was large and accommodated my family with ease. The neighborhood was nice and the pool area was great with heated pool and gas fire pit. I would stay here again. We had an issue with the fridge not working when we checked in, but the management was quick to remedy it by providing a small fridge to store our groceries until the next day. I unplugged the fridge and that reset the electronics, so it worked just fine after that.

Beautiful but empty
The house was as pictured and the golf cart and bikes were convenient. The property pool was nice but it was a very empty shell. I don’t expect stocked pantry but the microwave didn’t work and there weren’t even a deck of cards to play. Perfect if you just need a clean bed and bath. Our children were supposed to be with us and we would have found it boring for them.

Perfect spot for family getaway
This community is in a great location with easy access to restaurants, the beach, and ice cream shops! The 6 seater golf cart was a great addition and make our trip much more enjoyable with children. We will be back!

We had a great stay!
Everything was wonderful. We quickly realized the dishwasher wasn’t working or the ice maker in the refrigerator. It wasn’t to important to me to wanna mess with so we went on with our week. Randomly two maintenance people showed up stating they were there to fix the issues. They were surprised no one had mentioned they were coming. An hour or so later I received a message from the property manager saying maintenance would be there to fix the outdoor shower and would not be needing in the house…which they were already in the house. None of that was to big of a deal and the home is gorgeous! We would love to come back! I would bring your own dish detergent and extra dish tabs! (They only give you 2)
