Great location

Great location. Dated condo. Things were very dated. Things need fixed ex towel rod in bathroom missing. Outside of fridge dirty. Otherwise was fine for our needs.

Found property from previous renters, exposed wood, no curtains/blinds

There was black mold at the air conditioner in the first room, raised wall to the side of it (water damage), there was belongings from previous tenants on the floor beside the bed, there were no blinds/curtains at the sliding glass door viewing the ocean, no way to make this private nor block the sun from beaming in so essentially the bed in that room was miserable when the sunlight came in. There was a separation form the wall and the ceiling above the dresser in the living room visibly seeing black mold.

Mold and mustiness can sometimes occur in beachside properties due to weather and the ocean's proximity. When you reported the issue, we promptly offered cleaning services, but we understand you declined the offer. We also regret that you experienced discomfort with the lack of privacy at the sliding glass door and the other maintenance issues mentioned. We will address these concerns with our cleaning and maintenance teams to ensure these issues are resolved for future guests. Thank you for bringing these matters to our attention.

Do not stay here!!!!!

We only stayed one night of our two night stay. I thought something was up when they sent and email AND text asking for pictures of my divers license, credit card (front and back), and a picture of my signature. I refused and tried to cancel the booking at that point, but both VRBO and Big Fish Rentals refused. My concerns were valid. When we arrived it was late so we had to accept what we had for the night. The room was very dirty, and none of the pictures represent what the room actually looked like. There were stains, tears, heavy wear on ALL the furniture. There were stains on the bedsheets (not stains that woldn't come out fresh crusty stains). When I contacted the host they said "So sorry" then offered to drop an Ozone in the room for the bad smell. They didn't offer to clean the room or anything else. I reached out to VRBO to tell them we weren't goign to stay another minute in the place and they claimed they would help. They explained they are an advertising site and not a booking site so they couldn't even refund my money.

WHEN READING THE LISTING, RULES, ETC. THE LINE 'DO NOT SOIL OUR LINENS OR YOU WILL BE CHARGED' KEPT POPPING IN MY MIND AS I WAS WALKING THROUGH THE CONDO UPON CHECK IN. I COULDN'T PHATHOM WHY THE LINENS WERE SO IMPORTANT. WHEN.....THE COFFEE POT STILL HAD OLD NASTY COFFEE STAINS IN THE BOTTOM UP IT, THE COFFEE MAKER ITSELF HADN'T BEEN WIPED OFF IN MONTHS, THERE WAS GREASE ON THE STOVE HANDLE, CRUMBS AND FOOD STILL IN THE DRIP PAN UNDER THE BURNER, DRIED KETCHUP OR SOME OTHER CONDIMENT SPLATTERED ON THE WALL BEHIND THE SINK AND ON ADJACENT WALL AND LIGHT FIXTURE, THE EDGES OF THE FRIDGE DOORS WERE RUSTED (MAKING IT LOOK EXTREMELY DIRTY). THE KICK PLATE UNDER THE CABINETS HADN'T BEEN SCRUBBED IN WHAT APPEARS TO BE YEARS, THE BEDROOM TV HAD BEEN LEFT UNPLUGGED, SO THEREFORE, IT APPEARED THE TV WAS BROKEN. IN THE RENTAL AGREEMENT, IT CLEARLY STATES, THE TV MUST BE RETURNED TO IT'S ORIGINAL STATE FOR THE NEXT GUESTS TO USE, IF NOT, YOU WILL BE CHARGED AN ADDITIONAL $75. THE TRASH CHUTE WASN'T CLEARLY MARKED ANYWHERE FOR THE GUESTS TO KNOW WHERE IT WAS LOCATED, NO INSTRUCTIONS IN THE ROOM TO LET YOU KNOW WHERE THE IMPORTANT ITEMS WERE LOCATED (IE: ICE MACHINE, LAUNDRY, TRASH, ETC.) AFTER GETTING OVER THE INITIAL SHOCK OF LACK OF CLEANLINESS, THE STAY WAS GREAT. THE LOCATION IS OKAY, IF YOU WANT PEACE AND RELAXATION - ONLY A COUPLE OF DINING ESTABLISHMENTS WERE WITHIN WALKING DISTANCE. I DO NOT RECOMMEND DRAFTS (LESS THAN A 2 MIN WALK) SERVICE WAS SLOW, AND MENU WAS PRICEY.

Nightmare

Condo was not as described. Smell was unbearable, couch was either filthy or badly stained. But the worst was the BUGS. Obviously we left after a few hours of trying to get acceptable answers from Big Fish Rentals & guest host Julie.
