Live the lake life in our 3 bed/3 bath chalet with peaceful canal views on Cedar Creek Lake!

Conveniently located just an hour-ish from Dallas, the Cedar Creek Chalet is the perfect escape for families looking to unplug, couples who need a relaxing getaway or for anyone that needs a work from home change of scenery.

The large wood deck is a tranquil oasis! It offers comfortable seating, a Solo Stove fire pit, gas grill and beautiful views of the canal (open water is just around the corner). Head down the stairs for direct water access to fish (tons of catfish, crappie and bass!) or hop on one of the included paddle boards and go exploring!

The living room features a 4K Roku TV with basic cable, stylish-yet-comfy furniture, record player and a cozy fireplace. Kitchen is fully stocked with all the essentials - most importantly, a Keurig coffee machine. There’s also a king bedroom downstairs, full bath and a laundry room with washer/dryer.

Upstairs you’ll find one king bedroom with en suite and rain shower. And an incredible, camp-themed loft with four custom-built queen beds and lots of fun details to discover! It’s the perfect kids space!

High speed WiFi is also included so you can WFL (Work From Lake), and you’re only minutes away from great vintage shopping and restaurants. Just ask us for recommendations!

Two parking spots in front of the house are included. We will send you a door code for easy no-contact access.

We are always available and happy to answer any questions via the Vrbo app. And we offer easy no contact check-in!

The Chalet is located in a quiet neighborhood on Cedar Creek Lake, perfect for morning walks. Our neighbors are wonderful and friendly.

We offer two spots in front of the garage. Please do not park on anyone else’s property.

This is our family vacation home and we hope you enjoy it as much as we do! We also ask that you treat the house, and our wonderful neighbors, with the utmost respect.

We have two outdoor cameras for safety: one pointed towards the entrance and another pointed towards the canal.

Wedding weekend

We were in town for a wedding and this was the perfect location. The house has all the amenities needed and a beautiful view. I would definitely recommend it.

Graduation

Three dads celebrated the graduation of 4 high school boys. Rented a boat on the lake and had a great time. Property worked well for all these boys.

Just enough space for a serene lake stay

Great little A frame on the quiet part of Cedar Creek Lake. King bedrooms on 1st and 2nd floor along with really cool "bunk" room. The four beds in the bunk room are good size, probably full/queen. Although the mattresses are soft, they are on solid frames, so beds are pretty firm. With this group of ladies, we were thankful to each have our own beds without having to climb on a top bunk, sleep on a futon, or fold-out couch. Perfect size for the six of us. Listing photos are accurate of the look and feel of the chalet, my only note would be that the areas are not as large as they appear in the photos, although there is still plenty of space. Mark & Kara have not only decorated The Chalet really nice, they've also stocked the place well. We loved the Crate And Barrel dishes, and there were large bowls and trays for snacks and serving. We cooked two of the nights, and the kitchen was well stocked. Great weather during our stay (Nov 2023) which made for nice hangout time on the back deck. We did Canton one day, and the drive was no big deal. House sits off the road just a bit, so garage is the first structure you see. Long walkway with steps to the right of the garage takes you to the house. Stairs inside are a little steep if that's a consideration for any of your guests. Just a hint, it's easier if you back down them, lol. Highly suggest breakfast at The Roost in Eustace. Cute little place, and the food and service were great

Beautiful place

Beautiful place and amazing hosts. We enjoyed our stay with friends. Great place with access to water right outside. Patio was great. We saw some christmas fireworks. Owners were easy to connect and provided all info. Property had all essentials. Hosts accommodated all the requests and responded to all our queries. Excellent communication. Living room was open and kitchen was also big. Upstairs loft was super hit with kids. Lots of lighting was good. Loved solo stove and recorder player and all decor. Host had left us a nice welcome note. House was nice and clean. Highly recommend this property. Perfect place for get away and spend time with family and friends.
