Very Comfortable Home/ Very Convenient Location
We are a family group of 9 senior citizens. Most of us are experienced travelers who demand a certain amount of comfort from our accommodations. This downtown house in a pedestrianized area of Lille "filled the bill" beautifully. The house is easy walking distance from convivial restaurants, a wide variety of shops and services, and rail stations (although I recommend taking a taxi from either of the Lille rail stations when you first arrive with your luggage).
Paris just an easy 1-hour train ride away from Lille by TGV.
Even with 9 of us, we did not feel at all cramped or crowded in the house. We loved the luxury of having 4 bathrooms and 4 bedrooms which afforded us each some privacy. The galley style kitchen with every modern convenience worked well for us. The gathering spaces ( dining area, living area, and patio ) encouraged long conversations among the 9 of us. Our host, M. Fruchard and his property manager M.Clerc-Renaud were
both helpful and gracious. We enthusiastically recommend this
property.
