Hanalei Bay Resort & Joan's specific condo unit can be summed up in 3 simple words...Paradise on Earth! Joan certainly does not oversell when she says the view of her condo is absolutely breath taking. It certainly is all of that and then some. We had an unbelievable time on Kauai and loved the peace and serenity of the Hanalei Bay Resort. We can't wait to begin planning our next trip!

Top Notch in every way!!

This was a return trip for me after 30 years to Hanalei Bay. I had expectations of the beauty and amazing feeling you get at the resort. It is situated on a cliff that literally is breath taking. We rented both the main unit and the suite and the view from both units was incredible. Every morning you rise to a beautiful ocean view. We even lucked out with a rainbow. The Bettencourt's units are so tastefully decorated and equipped with every possible thing you would need on vacation. We cooked most of our meals at the condo since we were traveling with small children. We BBQ'd several times and it is very close to the unit. The most wonderful part was sitting on the lanai eating our meals in nature and enjoying the view. It was great to have the air conditioning but we loved having the windows opened and enjoying the beautiful breezes. The main pool is gorgeous and we spent a lot of time there. It was disappointing that the restaurant was not anywhere near opening (Fall 2014) as was indicated. I remember having some delightful outdoor meals there on my previous visit decades ago. It will be a great asset once they complete their restaurant. The resort is alive with tennis players and very nice people. I love that they have orchids on the trees. We went next door to the St. Regis for Sunday Brunch before we left on our flight and it was incredible but pricey. The views there are worth the trip up to their restaurant even if you do not eat. Make sure you go to the viewing area on the floor above the restaurant. It is spectacular!

Amazing condo! The view was perfect and the space had everything we needed, we felt like we were home. The beach access, tennis courts and pool kept our family busy. Maryam & Amir are great hosts! We look forward to coming back to the Royal Pineapple again.

Paradise

My husband,daughter, son-in-law and 11 month granddaughter spent a week in paradise. We have stayed at the Hanalei Bay Resort before but this time was the best. The views are spectacular, the grounds kept in perfect condition and ambiance lovely. The condo was also perfect, comfortable and had everything we needed for a perfect vacation. We wish the resort had completed the restaurant, we had to leave for food but otherwise a most wonderful stay in paradise. We will return.

We loved the condo! It is so comfortable, clean, and tastefully decorated!! The view is awesome, and we most thoroughly enjoyed every moment spent there.
